It is was it is with ETH gas in regards to transferring fee and exchanges have always had a limit to which you can trade, so all this are not new really.

I also don't own any BTC and only a little ETH just as you OP. I arrived in the crypto space in 2017 therefore i was to late to participate in the ETH ICO or get BTC for below 100$.
And now for me it just feels weird to own 0.05 BTC if you invest 2000 $. I prefer to own a few thousand coins for that amount of money. It's a psychological thing.
But you can still make some profits in this market. If you pick the right small projects you will have way higher ROI than with BTC or ETH... it's very hard to pick the right projects though.

if you will do that all the time, you will lose your head in this market. thats one thing i learned throughout these years. once you closed a certain trade, dont look back and feel sorry for yourself, thinking what should have done instead.

I understand how you feel cause just like you, I was selling my BTC's earlier and that was so regretting to see the market pump. I was not jealous but instead, I was happy for this amazing improvement. And I'd rather have to close my eyes and imagining what I should do when Bitcoin reaches $100k.

Is it too late for you to get back in? Did you spent your money on something else? I had a friend who sold at 38k thinking that was the highest it will go (after it peaked at 41k and dropped to 29k and back to 38k) but then it became as high as 47k, he got back in at 42k and I think made all his lost back from that increase, now a bit equal but he got back in anyway. So even if you sold you could always get back in if you didn't spend the money already.

If you are dreaming about bitcoin reaching 100k and what you can do with it, it is still x2+ away from reaching 100k, so if you buy right now, and price reaches 100k you will double your money and even some more on top of that. I haven't sold thankfully, I am planning on maybe selling just a bit of it, but I am still keeping mine, I would suggest everyone to get back in and do the same if they want to, even if it goes lower, it will eventually recover and go up.

I'm glad that the crypto market is still pumping hard, even if it's not profiting me that much, but as a bitcoiner I'm happy bitcoin BTC is making new ATH almost every week, I'm also happy about the price of Eth pumping, but  just like you the high gas fee is a big defect to eth, it's getting out of hand now we users have to pay about $20+ for just one transaction, even at midnight when there are less transactions going on the gas fee is still high, been trying to transfer a 50usdt for over two days now with a gas fee of $8 to $10 worth of Eth, so far no luck .

Almost all of top coins already surpassed its old ATH and you should not feel sad about that dude. You are still having another chance to invest in the legit coin. There will be so many upcoming icos and the majority of these projects are legit.
I think that you should not always put your hope to see bitcoin will decrease again because it's quite impossible. You must know that elon was buying bitcoin and it will be connected to the tesla's product.

Well, I honestly can't say that this bull run is sad to me because most of my hodlings got up and got a chance to sell those at a satisfactory price. Though there are some regrets that I can feel because I didn't put most of my money on cryptocurrency during the accumulation phase. Gas costs really got up and there are times that gas prices are crazy high for us to trade, This is the hinder of blooming market transactions. I think before that bitcoin will just stay up to 30k and will never go to 40k that's why buying bitcoin and altcoins is really a scare to me thinking that the asset value is too high and also thinking that I might be burned when a correction happens.

There can't be any chance for the price to drop right now because of the non-stop good news regarding the crypto industry these few days. Two-sided as always I think. Some people are not that grateful of the market price decrease at this moment and some are good with what is happening. Yes, it is very sad to watch after 1 year of a break and rest from cryptocurrencies as the prices of literally any assets grow. It is a pity that for all the time I did not buy any 1 Bitcoin.

I had some of those tokens as well, I have around 280 dollars combined in many different coins, all of them combined makes a decent money because 280 dollars doesn't make you rich but also not zero neither. However it is in many different coins, and if I want to swap them for anything then gas fee is too high and I can't, for example one of them worths 20 dollars but asks 100 dollars for network fee to swap that to ethereum, that doesn't make sense at all.

So right now, I am sitting with 280 dollars of money in my accounts without being able to sell that at all, it doesn't make any sense at all to me. The moment gas prices drops and if the tokens I have still have any value at all, I will be selling all of them right away, I regret that I didn't sell them long before, I would have sold them all if I knew that gas prices would go up this much high to ridiculous levels.

Number one is a big concern, I have a small number of altcoins that I want to trade with other coins but I cannot because the fee will just eat it up, I cannot just trade $40 worth of altcoins for $16 worth of gas, I have to wait for the gas to normalize and hopefully it will get to the $5 level again.

Looking through I am pretty fine with Bitcoin as I already bought it when it was lot lower, I wish I bought more at the start of pandemic tho. I feel pretty sad about Ethereum. Many projects flourish on top of it but it also made stay away because of very high fees. That's why I started look into Binance Smart Chain projects. I am not much moved by the transaction fees actually because I hardly do any transactions apart from my trading which all happen within the exchange itself and no actual transactions are being made. I mean I have all my balance on exchange and I can sell/buy anything without actually doing transaction. I pay transaction fees only when I actually withdraw to convert for fiat.

one thing you said which I completely agree with. is that the cryptocurrency is still not ready for such a big users quantity and such a huge mass adoption. now we all can see the weak point of crypto currency and their effects on users and market. the crypto getting bigger and bigger as well getting harder and complicated for a common person to jump into it.

You're not the only one who have nothing when this bull run season happening. Other wishes to have more bag of btc and eth in their wallet seeing the current price reach all time high. Don't be sad make ways to earn some satoshi in your wallet. Even price of btc and eth will declined it will not that drop so hard. It is not too late to stacks some btc.

Everyone will think like you, especially people who have no investment in altcoins. However, it will be different for those with Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB and Dogecoin assets and others who have been able to discover the newest this year. and I'm just a little annoyed by the ethereum transaction fees that are so high that I can't sell many of the altcoins I have due to high transaction fees.

Fees increase usually happens when the market price rises, Isn't really a big problem for me as I have to find a way to funded the fees for the sake that I could sell it. But the problem is that people are just complaining, they wanted everything will be in their control (good thing it never happens) in crypto. Because I think miners deserve some rewards by paying them high just to confirm our transaction. It is gonna be fair, I think. Perhaps, we even get a huge profit despite the cost of the transactions.

I feel similar to you, my investments are quite small and it is also not good to trade them because of the high fees. Buying new coins near the ATH seems not like the best idea. But the good thing of the crypto market is that everything happens in cycles. It kind of makes me sad to think about if I just had bought some coins in October last year. With hindsight it would have been so easy to make some money. Unfortunately we will just have to wait for better prices again.

Just to say, all the patience I made has been repaid.

the exact same thoughts I am thinking and experiencing right now. conditions are very sad for me because market conditions are improving, but I do not have any assets to trade. and I have no investment. all I have are a few low priced altcoins. and because the transaction fees are so high that I can't do anything with the altcoins I have in my ethereum wallet. and this is very sad.

If the exhange you are trading in has lot of coins then why would you not trade it first to other coins to minimize the fee before withdraw it. Even it is a small number but at least you can cover the fee by just send it to other coins.

I am grateful that the bullish movement has lasted so long and that many altcoins have increased in value and continue to do so, but the thing is that it is difficult to make cryptocurrency transfers across the Ethereum network because the cost of these transactions is many times greater than the cost of the cryptocurrencies that I want to offer, which is a big pity.
