Some time ago, last October, I asked you if BTC price increase has affected your gameplay somehow. Back then, it wasn't a problem for most of the users who replied.

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

I wouldn't say it is because of the current sudden rise but I am currently using xrp to cut back the price I have to spend when depositing or withdrawing from a casino and to have longer time session when I am gambling. I would have used litecoin but too lazy to exchange it and the wallet I use in order to fund my gambling habit only accept btc, eth, bch and xrp.

Switching to the other coins will be better for me to continue playing gambling. But I do not playing gambling too often because I want to hold my bitcoin and not convert it into other coins. With the bitcoin price rise so high now and almost touch $50k, that will better for me to sell bitcoin at that price, and I can enjoy my profit from trading. And if I want to gamble, I will use some money to buy altcoins and send them to the casino.

But I do not know what other members say because maybe some of them still use bitcoin, no matter if the price already increased or not. Maybe they think that if they win, they can win a lot of money to convert it into fiat.

I'm basing my gambling budget via USD which is the reason I've currently stopped high stakes gambling and focuses on using most of my coins on the market and holding for the best and wait until all things is settled.
With all the things that are happening such as Elon Musk, Paypal and the rumors about Apple that will be next to invest on crypto, I don't think I'll be gambling high stakes anytime soon.
I'm currently playing small games on gambling sites and trying to enjoy and have fun with all the coins I've left on several gambling sites.

I still gamble with btc, and only use a USD equivalent of how much I want to play with and that's it. Perhaps when it's no longer feasible to play with bitcoin due to fees being too high in its USD equivalent, I'll move to another coin, say, ETH or the likes. For now, it's still bearable and I can still play for hours on end with the conversion I've been doing.

I do still bet with BTC but I have mostly switched to Ethereum. It's just that ETH has a lot of upsides within itself and it feels a lot more comfortable for me personally, in case I do end up losing a bet.

I don't know how you use ETH if lately fees in ETH network are so increased that they are almost equal to the ones in BTC network. At such moments I try not to move these coins at all without a special need. Not to mention making a deposit to the casino.

I baghold some Tronzzz and due to the high fees, I got no choice but to make it my go to coin for cheap, fast txs.  And I’m pretty happy legit books accept it.

I don't really have a problem with the rise in the price of bitcoin that we have seen per se, since the only thing that I will have to do is to adjust the amount of bitcoin that I bet downwards and that will be it, the real problem comes from the fees that you need to pay to make a transaction and the time that you need to wait in order for that transaction to be confirmed, a few days ago I wanted to make a transaction and the mempool was completely full with people trying to get their transaction confirmed as soon as possible and sending huge fees in order to do so which meant that is simply not worth it to send a transaction that is less than 10 dollars so you have no other option but to use other coin for those kind of transactions.

Have to keep bitcoin while chooses and uses another altcoin to save fees and to help save the value of the bitcoin that I hold.

It's more convenient for me but I know some other gamblers wouldn't mind spending a bit from their bitcoin holdings if it's for gambling.

Not for now because on mainly reason of high fees.You cant really get even 1 confirmation if you do set out fees lower than 100 sats/byte which this is the main problem i do
face and the sole reason on why i do skip on using bitcoin at the moment.Unlike before which even bitcoins price is high but you can make use of it since fees are way too
cheap but now? I cant just afford to lose $10 actively on making deposits and withdrawals.Yeah, it might be small for other people but this is way too much for me.
I do stick now with DOGE and LTC at the moment when playing up into my favorite gambling sites.

In fact, with the increase in the price of Bitcoin and the transfer fees, I am using the  trx and keep the Bitcoin in the my wallet because it has become profitable to keep it unlike before.

I'm still placing my bets in BTC, but I do make them lower because the price is way higher right now. Moreover, since the transaction fees are currently truly crazy, I don't withdraw and deposit money for now, but instead play with what I already have. I see no issue with playing when the price is high, really, because it's always possible to adjust the bet amounts and thus regulate how much I'm spending. If the fees don't calm down, however, it will eventually prove problematic because I usually use a few dollars worth of BTC for my bets, so paying more to transfer money than to actually gamble would be crazy for me.

With the increase in the price there has been high demand in the market. This has made people to keep hold of the bitcoins, than risking on gambling. Most of the time my Betting is in terms of USDT. Upon the same when the market is bullish or at the high I spend small amount when calculated in terms of bitcoin and vice versa.

same here and it was a long time ago that i have been bag holding it and have been gambling with it for a long time. mostly on dapps though. BTC is too valuable to send so i just use TRX and EOS. with them i wouldn't even have to spend a lot for transaction fees. now that btc is almost $50k, the more i get to just keep them and will just try accumulating it. newer casinos today are shifting to TRON like the newer we see today such as betfury.io because it seem fitting to send coins as fast as they are.

Im with this and thats why i had stopped on playing gambling using Bitcoin because of fees.

It wont matter if its just small but now its really hard to ignore specially if you do have a limited budget for gambling and same as yours ive been using Doge now in my game plays.

there are other coins as well which are cheap and fast which is ideal for gambling at the moment and just like others where i do mostly play with using btc
where i can adjust the price basing of on  USD from time to time so price increase in btc wont really be an issue.

not at all from it's current value as it's like be wasting Bitcoins as we keep playing with it especially now where it keeps pumping up on the brighter side.
And let's don't forget about the fees where withdrawing our profits does really hurt in our ass, and not just Bitcoins it's the same with ETH.
So if were to make bets again I'd rather go for some USDT based casinos or some other altcoins such as DOGE for the time being, but the case here was how many casinos were offering such payment method.

thats crazy if your trying to play to earn but if you play because you miss the ambiance of your favorite gambling site you are willing to sacrifice fees but who says that you cant earn if your goal is to earn and you only have a small capital ?
 what if you got lucky and win big  but for the gambling owners they need to adjust the withdrawal and depositing fee because there are gamblers like you that are adjusting their bets making it lower .

I am one of the people who said that I will still play on the quantity of bitcoin and not the value but honestly today with the bitcoin price on the market I can't stand with my own words, I am playing now based on the USD value because bitcoin is getting expensive day by day and my session limit's BTC value is going up and up that's why I decided to limit myself on USD value. I think it's better just to hodl BTC and switch to other alts with lower fees because the network fees have also gone high.

Im used to play with Bitcoin but with the current network fees its already a big problem for me to do so.So im playing with altcoins it is way more cheaper
but still it does really give out the different vibe when you are directly playing with satoshis compared to other coins.

Sometimes I do trading in the same manner, but I haven't played using other coins because it doesn't have sense due to profitability. Bitcoin still has worth even if it rises that huge value of almost $50k. Transaction fee still can be managed if compared with eth, so many gamblers like me prefers to choose bitcoin rather than eth or other cryptocurrencies.
