Look at Michael Saylor and Max Keiser?  These people are beyond rich.

They don't even need to do anything anymore.  I believe they are billionaires.  Why do they even care about any of this?

The chase for money especially in this dispensation is never ending. People are willing to go all out and do anything (legal and illegal) for money these days. The real question that i am forced to ask is, how much money is enough money?

At what point will one say that he or she has had enough money?
Economics defines human needs and wants as insatiable. The need for having enough money is what drives people to go about the day making sure they make. One would ask, should Mike adenuga and dangote still find money? There is never a thing as enough when it comes to money because what is more greater than money is more money.

It really depends on what kind of lifestyle a person has. And how satisfied he is with what he has. Everyone has their own dreams in life, and everyone wants a good and comfortable life, especially if they have a child and a wife.

In today’s era in fact as we approach the future people are becoming more greedy for money and power, so as a result the poor are suffering even more, which is why others are forced to engage in illegal activities.

But even the world is in great turmoil today due to pandemics and widespread poverty caused by ongoing war and chaos and greediness for power and money. There are still people who are happy and contented with simple living and with the things they have built as a result of hard work and approach to work. Because they know how to value their hard-earned money and they are confident in their knowledge and ability.

The easiest way to answer how much is enough to stop working is to multiply your total annual expenses by 25. That's how much money you need to stop working. For example, if you spend $25,214 per person in the household unit, you'll need $630,350 per person, according to the BLS study above.

In advance: You have enough money if you no longer have to go to work to finance your personal standard of living.

To name an amount of money would be the wrong approach. Who tells me that 1 million euros/dollars have the same value as tomorrow. That is not the case we all know: inflation. What if it is a hyperinflation? Then a loaf of bread might cost 1 million.

Therefore, we must first ask ourselves a few questions that a good store of value must fulfill.

What can not have inflation?
What can I take with me everywhere?
What can't anyone take away from me?
What can't be wiped out?

Answer: Bitcoin

Bitcoin is limited to about 21 million and cannot have inflation. By memorizing a few words, I can take it anywhere. Thus, no one can take it away from me if the value is dependent on knowledge alone. It can't be wiped out because anyone can set up a node or mine it.

So I would say I would need a certain amount of Bitcoin to be set. How high that is, I don't know off the top of my head.

The answer to this question is a perspective one, $1b can be enough money for someone, while for another it's just a half way success to what he/she could actually agree to be enough for them.

As far as responsibilities keeps knocking on the door no amount of money actually enough money.

By defining enough money, it all goes down to individual, as what might be enough money for person A might be a small money to person B, in my opinion and as for me, enough money starts from a million dollars up to five million dollars I'm OK with that, basically most of it will go to charity and helping the less privilege ones. If it's only me and my family probably less

You can always direct this question to those who are already in money to tell us how much money can be a enough. The millionaires and the billionaires already have the money and they are always eargered to make more money so that there money will keep on growing as people keeps on working for them. No money is enough except for those who are okey with there present conditions which is rear.
A good question though - but when you have a comfortable life style and you are happy with it and the account is topped up every month - for me it is enough money.
Since I am a Lower middle class. So I think I need a lot of money to be able to call myself rich.

I will answer your question with a question of mine. What is better than money? More money! Even Dangote and those other big names in the society who are business tycoons and have enough money to last the fourth generation, still look for the money. You feel they don't have enough money? They do but as humans needs are numerous and insatiable, there is this drive to continue looking for it.
If you ask me, I don't think any individual has a limit to his need for money. Because someone can be content with a certain amount of money, but that doesn't mean he will not push for more if he has the opportunity.

In order for any amount to be sufficient, first of all, it is necessary that you do not increase your cost of living as you increase your earnings. This is really a big poison for a lot of people, especially people who really care about brands and luxury. And that's not a matter of judgment, it's just a matter of logic. Everyone knows what it's like to live well for themselves.

But, I think that a sufficient amount is a value that allows you not to rent every second of the day and that does not make having 30 days of vacation a year or 2 hours - instead of 1 hour - of lunch a day your greatest happiness.

I recently decided to give up more money for more freedom, and having time makes the value of money less important.

Although happiness is a subjective feeling, studies of satisfaction/happiness show patterns across populations, and one pattern is that people in richer countries tend to rate their lives as more satisfying. In fact, research shows that money makes us happier on a personal level, too. The more money you have, the more happy you are. The thing with money is not that it makes us happy, but that it empowers us to feel free. So, even though money is rarely an emotional driver, it does provide us with some material things that are beneficial to our lives and it makes our lives easier. And it helps us to live more satisfying lives.

How much money does it take to feel happy? Or, is there an upper limit on the correlation between money and happiness? Here is what I think: Basically, additional income always brings more satisfaction, the rich, however,  need a larger bump to get the same level of happiness than the average person. For example, if you earn $25,000 or $35,000 a year, an extra $10,000 per year will mean a great deal, but almost nothing to someone already earning $ 250,000 or more. So, there is no need for everyone to aim for great wealth, but it is undeniable that life is easier with money, and our best bet is to find the optimal measure that suits us individually.

No amount of money is enough  because all the billionaires I have come across are not satisfied with the amount of money they have. They try to figure out always how they can generate steady flow of income into their account,  no amount of money is too much to have, the taste for money does not have any end point.

"Human wants are insatiable", no matter how much money one currently have, there will still be the desire to have more.
Therefore, no amount of money is enough money.

If the richest people in the world have yet to retire from their work after making so much money that they can never be poor again then, it goes to show that with more money comes more desires.

My wants and needs can be satisfied as I am not delusional.

Life for humans is a time game.

Ie 125 years = max cap.

100 years = rare.

a good 90 year is achievable. Look at William Shatner or Mel Brooks  these are good 90+ year old people.

I am 65 okay health.
My wife is 66 okay health.

Maybe we are worth 2 mill. House and pensions included we may be worth 3 mill.

Trust me given the choice of 5 extra years time or 5 mill.

I want the time. Not the 5 mill.

Given Healthy to 95 vs 20 mill.

I will take the healthy till 95.

So for me time is the currency I want.

since I am not delusional I know it caps out at 125 max.

I did see an interview of a very old couple deep into their 90's you could see they were still into each other.

That has far more value than my house or our pensions. But realistically. I still want our wealth.

I live in NJ and would be considered middle class. maybe top 15% of a usa couple in terms of wealth.

Do I want to have 25 mill sure but not my first choice of what I want.

Really this is a question need to be ask and also need an urgent answer but ironically, this question becomes an rhetorical question, that it is a question that has no answer. The holy Bible says, Money is the root of all evils.1 Timothy 6:10. And also when Jesus was tempted by satan the devil. Satan told Jesus to bow down then he (satan) would gave him (Jesus) all the world pleasures, and wealth. Money causes the unequal distribution of national, and international resources among individuals, companies, firms, local governments, institutions etc. Even till now the African richest and the world richest men are still looking for money. With money all things are possible. therefore, I am very much believed and convinced that there is no limit on the acquisition of money or wealth as the Middle and the upper classes arranged it. Money is not enough at all time. A former governor and a serving minister in my country spend #5 millions = $12039.709023 daily while a large number of the citizens spend $1 a day, yet that minster will not allow the ordinary poor man to become a minister one day to test the ministerial post.

There is no time, day, week, month, and year one will say he has enough money. He will only tell you that he is looking for money.

Well the point you have mentioned is very valid. the equal distribution of the wealth has made things very difficult for the people around.
But than again - no amount of money is enough money - because when we get more money - we increase our needs and wants. And that is how every amount is less amount.

Enough money for me is money needed to be able to achieve Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. It is a five-tier model of human needs, often depicted as hierarchical levels within a pyramid1. From the bottom of the hierarchy upwards, the needs are: physiological (food and clothing), safety (job security), love and belonging needs (friendship), esteem, and self-actualization2. It is true that one may not need money in some of the various levels but we would agree that money still plays an important role in all the levels.

You are probably going to get wrong answers because even if a human is blessed with everything they will still urge for more, this is human nature, the feeling of not having enough is within us, only very few people who are ready to give up on the world itself are satisfied.
