Everyone has seen the old blacklist in the past, I scrapped my old blacklist awhile back trying to give everyone a second chance as people can change. This list is a different approach. While some members probably deserve to be blacklisted, I will not directly be blacklisting anyone this round.

I as a manager feel like when a person is hired by a company, that person should be doing everything they can to help said company out. Simply making post quotas each week gets the signature seen, but companies can get help in more areas. For example, posting in their topic to help them get some exposure in a specific section. Seeing other threads where users are asking about certain services, if that post refers to the service you are advertising for, pop in the site to that thread. Visiting the companies social media pages and following, liking, retweeting their content etc. It seems like no one really wants to help a company out unless they are being paid to do so. Even when being paid they do the bare minimum. Campaigns only last as long as the company feels they are getting something from them. So it's in a users best interest to do all they can to help out.

These lists should be a little help to other managers who want to gauge the type of member they are hiring. The lists will be separated into Helpful/Not helpful/Blacklist. The criteria for making each list is as follows:

Helpful members are categorized as members that post in a companies topic(We are not allowed to pay a user to post in a topic per say, but it should be a no brainer that you want to help a company out), members that reach weekly quotas more often then not, members that receive merits for posts.

Not helpful members are categorized as never post in a companies topic, fail to make weekly post quotas, never get merited, jump ship on a campaign chasing an extra dollar. I am not against a member making extra money by no means, it is frustrating to a manager that has just filled all the spots to see a person leave over 1-2 dollars extra. If you're looking for a certain amount of money, i'd rather campaign jumpers not apply.

Blacklisted members are categorized as members who post mostly trash, members who post everything in 1-2 days, members who get caught cheating etc.

A user can make the helpful list and not meet all the criteria each week. Just in general they are good for the project/site they advertise for and help out. Users in the helpful list could still be considered spammers/shitposters by the community but most aren't. A user can make all lists except the blacklist and still have a chance to be hired by myself, no clue about other managers feelings.

So posters that do more to directly shill the company of whatever signature they are wearing wherever they can, and bump company threads, get preferential first placement when applying to signature campaigns??

Kinda sounds like an indirect way to pay users to shill and bump threads..
Bit of a leap from paying for ad space on good posts..

There are posters in the top list that have not made 1 post in a companies thread, but they are getting merited left and right. That tells me that their posts are being read and there's a good chance the signature is being seen, therefor making them an asset to a company.

As far as other things mentioned to get in the top list, why wouldn't you want to help a company by giving an occasional post in their thread or mention them in other threads?

You think companies spend hundreds, thousands, and sometimes tens of thousands each year just as a giveaway? Don't be silly man, they are advertising here for exposure. They are spending the money for help in getting recognized.

Companies spend a lot on paid bumping too, the only thing is that’s it’s against the rules for damn good reason, and I’ve seen how many hundreds of red tags handed out for it??

Campaigns can’t “require” their participants to bump their threads, but the managers can publicly state that they will put you right at the top of the list for first dibs on campaign slots if you bump company threads??

How many PMs are you going to get “Hire me and I promise I’ll bump threads for you”..

Look at the “Army of adkinsbet shills” right now..
Top of the list if you shill and defend the company renting your sig space..

Nowhere does it say you must post in a companies thread, you're trying to make this into something bigger then it is. I know it's customary for you forum users to make drama, but it's not necessary.

I am not stating if you post in a companies thread, i'll hire you. I am stating if you earn merits on a regular basis, post occasionally helping the company whom hired you, and do something other then spam the discussion boards, you have a better chance to be hired then the other guys in list 2.

This is not me looking for an army to shill for companies, but I do feel like users should help out in more areas if they can.

That's because you're right - spot on actually.

I wouldn't expect anything else from someone who promoted a known scam exchange like OP did tbh.

Merited.

Bit of a leap from paying for ad space on good posts..

here's how I understood this.
@yahoo62278 as a manager want to have a member list that is useful to him for the campaign he manages. in his choice of participants, priority is given to members who are at least partly interested in the company business which promotes in their signature.
Posting in ANN thread of campaign owner is not shill in default. The user may show interest in the business they are promoting, in the end, it is normal for everyone to know what they wear in his signature. I am in the BestChange signature campaign and of course, that is normal to follow his ANN even if this, not a campaign rule, interesting what's going on there and if I have something to comment on. I don't see it as a shill. To me as a participant in the campaign, it is in my interest that the owner also does well and that the campaign lasts.
Just my opinion.
Here is already the discussion is it wearing someone's paid signature shilling no matter where you post and it is a fairly individual understanding.

Because that's not what you're getting paid for when you join a sig campaign.  It's a simple financial transaction: signature/avatar rental for a certain amount of bitcoin, and the campaign member may or may not even personally like (or even know much about) the service they're promoting.

This just kinda/sorta sounds like you want thread bumping (which is against the rules) but don't want to come out and say it.  I'd probably eliminate that from any helpful/not helpful criteria, but that's just me.

Damn...
I expected some comments telling me I’m wrong, but I guess I’m not wrong and nobody has any balls..

Correct:  You’re not wrong, and nobody has balls.

This is not only a tacit invitation to spam-bump threads, but also a hint to spam social media sites.  All with plausible deniability:  Oh, no, users aren’t being paid to spam!  The suggestion is simply made that if you spam, then you may get onto the “helpful” list that’s a fast-track to coveted slots for Bestest Mostest Lucrativest Blockchainiest Bounties.

Frankly, I am of two minds about the social media stuff.  I hate the social media sites, and I want for them all to die miserable deaths.  In darker moments, I think that perhaps social media spam should be encouraged; it is an attack that turns the sites into sewers of shilling.  But I hate spam even more; so...

I know it's customary for you forum users to make drama, but it's not necessary.

Accusations of “making drama” are a poor stock answer to the cogent expression of a legitimate concern.

And what’s with “you forum users”?  Are you, yahoo, not a forum user, too?  Or are forum users a degraded class prone to drama, to which you, a CM, are immune?  N.b. that eddie is a financially disinterested party, insofar as he doesn’t wear paid signatures.  Whereas you signature campaign people (insert criticism here).

IMO, a good CM should rate as “helpful” those members who are most helpful to the community.  In the long term, it makes better business sense, too:  It gets a signature ad seen in threads where the company is not being discussed.  It gets the ad seen by users who have never even heard of the company.

Looking back to OP:

Helpful members are categorized as members that post in a companies topic [...]

Why not members who answer n00b questions in Beginners & Help, discuss code in Development & Technical Discussion (where mods nuke sigspam with extreme prejudice), give peer to peer technical support in the mining forums, etc.?  Those seem much more “helpful”.

If I were an advertiser, I would prefer such members to mere fanboys trying to kiss up to me on threads were everyone already knows about my company.  Of course, I would appreciate substantive discussion on my threads by people who genuinely appreciate my produce or service; but that is something that needs to be organic, lest it become an unreadable megathread of echo-chamber shilling.  On the customer side, I myself tend to avoid reading commercial threads where useful information is buried in fluff; who has time to read through such threads!?

...what you're getting paid for when you join a sig campaign.  It's a simple financial transaction: signature/avatar rental for a certain amount of bitcoin...

Theoretically, yes.  But theoretically, if people were inherently good, we wouldn’t need Byzantine Fault Tolerance.  Or digital signatures.  Or spamfilters.  Or laws.

Quote from: Ovid (tr. by Garth, Dryden, et al.)
The Golden Age

The golden age was first; when Man yet new,
No rule but uncorrupted reason knew:
And, with a native bent, did good pursue.
Unforc’d by punishment, un-aw’d by fear,
His words were simple, and his soul sincere;
Needless was written law, where none opprest:
The law of Man was written in his breast:
No suppliant crowds before the judge appear’d,
No court erected yet, nor cause was heard:
But all was safe, for conscience was their guard.

We (academic “we”) hypothesize that there is a game-theoretic Nash equilibrium under which every opportunity for advertising will tend towards spam.  In this context, the only solution would be to ban signature campaigns altogether.  We (royal “we”) posit that reputable CMs should want to avoid such an eventuality.
