So I don't know what will be the perfect game plan to beat a fighter like Canelo's caliber at 168 lbs. With no known weaknesses at his armor, it's going to be very hard for Saunders to overcome Canelo, probably a lucky punch can Canelo didn't see coming.

What could be that perfect plan, I thought Callum Smith has a perfect plan, coming forward and giving out a lot of jabs but unfortunately, it didn't work, Canelo Alvarez has a better perfect game plan, even if you have a good plan if you are not strong and quick and with good skill in the ring, it will not work.

Yes, Callum Smith he has the perfect plan as he has all the tools to be honest, but Canelo was too good. His jab doesn't have any effect on Canelo, he simply touch him but Canelo keeps coming forward with body shots that weakens Smith force him to just survived the fight. I think only a prime GGG can outwork Canelo and win at 160 lbs or 168 lbs.

I think to beat Canelo, you really have to beat him the fight, be the first to throw so that he will be off balance and then maybe he will be frustrated and then you counter him perfectly, just like what Triple-G did in their first meeting. But you also have the iron chin, and then the stamina. You also need to be the bigger guy so that you can push him around and put your weight on him during clinch like what Fury did against Wilder. And during the clinch, you should also throw some punches. And then you have to be very technical to let him miss.

I think you are talking about a better Canelo him, or his own version. Unfortunately, we haven't see any boxer that can do that to him. he fought taller and bigger guys already and they have no chance of beating him because he is smarter and he knows how to timing his punches to beat his opponent. As they say, it's easier said than done and until Canelo can experience the taste of defeat I will not stop backing him, of course I don't count the defeat from Mayweather as that's another type of boxer.

There is no need for overconfident in every boxing fight because a single punch can drop Him down like a dead cow so better for Him to treat the fighter/opponent as a wild animal that in any chances can kill Him.

A champion is still a champion, no matter if he is someone relatively less popular. From the technical point of view, surely Canelo is way better than BJ Saunders, but remember that boxing is also about weight. I think BJ Saunders is bigger and heavier than Canelo that will make a big problem for him. I think this match will be a nice slugfest. I'll go for Canelo.

So in the case of disqualification and stuff, as long as, the title fight is between those ranks, well.. "a champion is still a champion." Hence anyone trying to fight the champ will still respect him because his "power level" is up there. Sometimes, luck is what makes the champ stands out from the other top-3/5.

They could fight in a catch weight but it's not good IMO as for sure Canelo will have to drain himself just to fight Manny, not good for boxing and not good for Canelo's career as Manny never loss fighting a big man in his career in a catch weight fight.

Who knows about the probability for this fight to happen but since there are no news or rumors that do rises up this time then lets presume that this one hadnt really been able to push through.

Better if Canelo would just stay up on the current weight division and wont tend to chase down and reduce himself just for the sake of fighting Manny, neither of the two would really
be sacrificing something if they move neither up or down on said division but for Manny then i wont be seeing that his fight with Canelo would turn out to be good.
