Better if Canelo would just stay up on the current weight division and wont tend to chase down and reduce himself just for the sake of fighting Manny, neither of the two would really
be sacrificing something if they move neither up or down on said division but for Manny then i wont be seeing that his fight with Canelo would turn out to be good.

Canelo would stay at his current weight division, he is dominating so theirs no need to try to follow the footstep of Manny as with his size, he can't do that. Manny is already a legend, it might take centuries before someone could beat his record and the good thing is he is still fighting now and that gives us time to  enjoy seeing these fighters getting good fights.

Well, who knows there will be a fight between Manny and Canelo since most of their fans looking forward to these two fighters that will have a match soon.
Even me, Manny Pacquiao was a legend of the boxing industry and I will not hesitate to support him in his fight. He is a very aggressive boxing fighter among others and no doubt on it.
However, on the match of Canelo and Saunder, I am in favor of Canelo, he has a strong punch that makes Saunder in serious pain. Perhaps, the odds now are in favor of Canelo.

Now that Canelo Alvarez has torn through the WBC’s mandatory challenger for his 168-pound championship, he can fully focus on the first of two title unification fights he hopes to win later this year.

As expected, Matchroom Boxing announced after Alvarez’s three-round demolition of Avni Yildirim on Saturday night that he’ll battle unbeaten WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders on May 8. The site of the Alvarez-Saunders bout wasn’t announced, but promoter Eddie Hearn informed BoxingScene.com before Alvarez defeated Yildirim that Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, are the two venues under serious consideration.

OK, this is the fight that we all have been waiting for Canelo, another legit challenger in Billy Joe Saunders. BJS is solid in all area, well rounded, technically sound and I think he will give Canelo one hell of a fight here, more competitive obviously against Avni Yildirim. Canelo himself admitted that Saunders will be a difficult fight for him.

But I will still give the edge to Canelo here, probably by decision.

This is what we have been waiting for, Canelo is going for the reunification of all the tittles so he had no choice but to face the mandatory opponent he was given, it was a waste of time but at least it will serve as a warm up to the real fight, this is not going to be easy for Canelo but I see him winning this fight as long as he does not become overconfident and trains as hard as he should as I expect this fight to go all the way to the end, and with this in mind the overall physical shape of both fighters will be critical in order to decide a winner.

He has fulfilled his mandatory, beat him by quitting in his stool and then said,  I didn't break a sweat, lets make it more challenging by going on the supposedly next tougher guy in the division, a champion and that is Billy Joe Saunders.

And again, on paper, the match has some hype, Saunders is the champion and supposedly has the perfect game plan to beat Canelo. But if you inspect closely, we see that this is not a big challenge . No disrespect to Saunders, but Canelo is invincible right now and the stronger one and could unify the belts at super middle weight.

You could be right but at least we have something to look forward to, the mandatory fight was a waste of time, even his opponent knew he had no chance but he had to fight and earn a small fortune in the process, even if this fight results in a disappointment at least it will be one more step on the quest Canelo has of reunifying all the belts under him and that is always attractive, maybe once he does that Canelo could fight in a heavier division as he will have no opponents left to fight if he remains in the one he is currently in.

Promoter Eddie Hearn and Alvarez’s team chose the home stadium of the Dallas Cowboys as the site for Alvarez-Saunders over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, home of the Las Vegas Raiders.

AT&T Stadium was the clear front-runner to host Alvarez-Saunders because Texas governor Greg Abbott lifted COVID-19-related capacity restrictions on all public places in that state earlier this month. The Cowboys’ stadium likely will be configured to hold between 60,000 and 70,000 fans for this event, though the entire venue is available for use that night.

So officially the fight will be held in AT&T Stadium in Texas, with fans allowed to watch the fight live. And I'm sure Canelo's fan are happy to hear this news.
