A lots of gamblers lose a huge amount of money because of irresponsible gambling activities.

I don't believe in fate, I believe in science, luck is simple algebra and probabilities, so is gambling, nothing to do with fate whatsoever. We're accepting the risk of losing our money when we're gambling, we know that there's a high chance we will, but we continue anyway. We are responsible for our own actions, if we end up losing money it's out of pure luck and lack of control.

I have gambled for over 10 years now (and most of it on crypto as well) and I can tell you that I have failed to control myself so many times before, obviously I am much better at it right now, but even just last month I had a moment when I got angry at a loss and got involved a lot bigger bets to make it back and lost all my deposit there.

This is as one of the most rookie mistakes as anyone can make and I think haven't done that in years but I still did it recently, why? Believing in fate is something people do to justify their losses or mistakes, not only in gambling but any other aspect in life too, it's an easy way to abdicate for your mistakes/losses, that it is someone else's fault, not yours, it was fate that made you lose. For me, people who don't take responsibility for their action and instead blame the unseen forces that may or may not exist are the type of people that don't deserve to have a prosperous life because if they can't own up to their actions then how can you expect them to do anything productive.
