As for me, gambling can be fun and if you make a winning, yay for you. And if you lose, then thats just the price for the fun you had. Don't play with money you can't afford to lose. Either you have money to lose or you don't. Making excuses to go against this rule will get you everytime.

Something I always put in my head: you shouldn't put luck or religion in games of chance. I know the name itself speaks of bad luck, but when we are playing we have to trust and depend only on our own ability, the moment we stop trusting our ability and start relying on luck and religion then we start to lose a lot and we start blaming god or use the argument that we weren't lucky so next time we'll be lucky. but that's not where it has to be, if the person has lost 3 consecutive games and keeps losing then there is something that is not right in the strategy, you have to change the strategy and test every game to see which strategy will bring victories

Control on when to play and how much base bet we need to set kind of things will help in gambling to sustain for long a period of time. True to that, I've felt that sweat cold and that very moment that I don't know what to do and I'm freaking out. I'm not sure how it will be possible. Because, even in the completely fair environment, you cannot do anything about the losses when you are having full control on your gambling activities because the random nature of gambling leads to losses. So, as long as gambling is based on random things, your control will not lead to any big impact but everything will happen as per your fate.

I concur, I understand that there are those that are deeply philosophical and could see on what they do the hand of fate having a say, but most people are not like that, when I see people blaming fate for something bad it happened to them most of the time what is really happening is that they are trying to point the finger at something and they have nothing else but fate to point at, they are trying to avoid the responsibility of their actions and unfortunately that leads them to make the same mistakes over and over again.

Natural for some people who cant just accept losses and really took out some blame into someone or something just for them to wash their hands that they hadnt committed any mistake.

Many people are traversing the wrong road once they got too deep in gambling, however that being said, I think the problem can be created with anything. Drugs, food, Abusive/Gaslighting relationships....anything. All it really has to do is with the people's brains and the amount of dopamine they need/are recieving. The dopamine molecule is the reward molecule. If you keep rewarding yourself for bad behaviour, you will definitely find yourself in a loop cycle of doing the same bad behaviour for that dopamine reward. Best way is to distract yourself with something else until your dopamine goes back to normal functions.

I am very afraid of losing control of my life.  For me, this is the worst thing that can happen to me.  Therefore, I spend a lot of time on planning and budgeting.

I think it is everybody's fate to loss in gambling. If people do not loss how will the casinos make money? The casino is planned in a way to create room for losers than they have for winners. Some casinos have more deceits than others and will not like to release payment to winners without attaching rules that were not there before. Some accuse players of trying to cheat the house and then cease their winnings. My conclusion is that winning at any gambling is fate and nothing else. I do not want to see losing in casinos as lack of self control.

This must be a complete different perspective of how gamblers and gambling houses are making money or losing money in the end. Anyone must need to accept this point because any money is not being printed out of gambling activities but it is being paid from one to another as a reward of gambling as one must be losing whereas another one is winning.

When gambling houses are designed for making gamblers to lose then I need to accept that winning from gambling must be a fate because that must be a rare thing to happen and no one could experience all the times. But losing must be more frequently event in gambling and there will be no meaning of calling it a fate driven one.
