Yeah, it seems that Canadian GP will be cancelled. Though, I don't understand how race without any spectators would increase risk of virus spread. F1 already prove last year that they can held race safely.
Anyway, at least it will be replaced by proper track in Istanbul. And in terms of logistics, it makes much more sense to make race in Turkey after Azerbaijan GP and then move to France. Even in previous seasons, for me it looked strange that after race in Europe they move to other continent just for 1 race and then return to Eurooe again.

As expected in this track Mercedes is the fasted but Max is very close, Perez destroyed his car  .

Fp2 will start soon.

Watched the first 5 minutes and Max had to go to the pitstop. Looked like Honda engine was giving him troubles just like it had for Perez.
Wasn't looking so great for the Red Bull team yesterday.
Was looking at the news just now as it is early in the day, FP3 has him out on top and Perez getting knocked around again.

Can't this team ever catch a break as if it isn't one driver it is the other who are having issues with their cars.

I knew my boy Perez will be on top today so I had no emotions when I took him to beat the group 2 and be on top 3 after qualifiers.



Tomorrow will be a different game for RedBull as let me tell you from now that both of RedBull cars will chase Hamilton tomorrow and I think both of them will pass him with the winner being Max followed by Perez on 2nd.

Yeah. Saw the crash of the Japanese driver Tsunoda even before the race began with a anti-lock brake in the turn that took out his rear cutting out and into the wall.
Can't see the driver for the Alpha Centauri team returning from this tomorrow without any mechanical issues with his car.
I had Perez in yesterdays to win it and it was at 8.00x odds. So tomorrow's will be slightly less with the win in the qualifying today. But we will see.

Well I'm a fan of F1 since I was a kid so all this years of experience really pay out when it comes to this sport. Regarding betting with TRX , I have no problem about that as long as you have a calculator open up to make sure you know how much you bet&earn.

I don't think Mazepin will retire as I hit that ticket last round with a total odd of 8 but so I will stay out from Mazepin and maybe I will pick that a McLaren will abandon or Leclerc to finish top 6. Why this picks ? Uhm because McLaren seems way too good to be true and Ricciardo is still fighting with the car ( McLaren is my fav team ) so this makes me think that if Ricciardo tries to push at start, like he usually do , it might not end up the race on the circuit ). About Leclerc , I just really like the kid and I know he is fighting with all he got and being a track in SanMarino-Italy will push him even further to achieve a top 5 finish.

I expect interesting race again.

Bottas lately didn't handle well the cases he was in the middle of the pack.
The 2 RedBull together may be expected to do a nice game, but in fact they may not yet be used to play together (do teamwork) and they may not deliver according to the expectations. Lando Norris looks fast, but he may get in trouble/penalties if he will go out of track limits too much, and he will not be alone in this situation.
Alpine and Aston Martin seem to try to disappoint, while Williams seems to feel rather comfortable on this track.

I just hope that Lewis will not just lead it all again, that would make the fight for #1 driver a bit dull...

I took Max because I know the start position won't deliver any advantage to Lewis especially if he's gonna get in the middle of the RedBull cars which is exactly what happen at the start and Max took the 1st position. I'm also glad for Norris as I vote for him as driver of the day and I do hope he will get many podiums this year because McLaren has a crazy boost out of the corners so it will be very hard to overtake them as even Lewis struggled with fresh tires quite some laps before him. Overall, a great race that had everything a fan could want from a race.

Lewis was incredibly lucky to get to finish.

That was a good race.
Even if there were a few crashes and the red flag came out half way through.
I thought Hamilton was down and out after that numb headed move to not reverse but instead went forward not having enough clearance to avoid hitting the wall after his spin out. Those F1 cars aren't built to make sharp turns like that but when in motion are like a train on the railroad tracks.
That blunder definitely cost him but I was surprised he recovered after being behind over 20 seconds once the pit fixed his front right fin that was turned in under his tire after the wall.
Wonder what the odds were to see Norris finish in the top 3 for this one?
I know he was nearly 41.00x odds (I almost went with this selection and was at 40.89x when I was about to do it ) and thought watching the final 8 laps thinking he might have a chance to do the impossible since the favorite winning this one was almost out or placing first.

But that is what F1 grand prix racing is all about!

After that LH made a mistake, recovery the car very well because i think other pilots dont made the reverse gear for come back in this situation and they end up stuck in the gravel. After this the lucky of the champions come to save Lewis and whit the safety car and the Red flag he was near all the cars. And he showed how good he is, think this way Bottas whit the same car cant overtake and Lewis overtake all the cars in front of he.

Well deserve victory for Max, bad race for Perez, and horrible race for Bottas i think whit this race Bottas cant still in the second Mercedes, he cant overtake whit most powerfull car, he strugled so much in wet conditions(remember turkey) and he was overtake for a WILLIAMS in this race (the the crash).

Imola was a great race and it has always been.Well done to Max Verstappen and it was a great choice to bet on Lando Norris within the top three,the odd was really good.Lewis Hamilton made a costly mistake by going off track but the red flag saved his race as gave him the possibility to recover and end in the second place.Races like this are always thrilling and good to watch and I hope for many of the same race like this one in the upcoming races.

Do you guys like the new circuit from Miami ? I love street circuits and this one will be nuts with those tight corners.

It's difficult to tell something about track just from layout image. But I don't like street circuits, I think there is already enough such tracks in F1, espcially considering that Jeddah city track will be added this year and Vietnam next season. Most of street circuits are boring, Prefer old-school tracks like Imola. And I will be very sad if Miami will replace one of classic tracks.

IF they are planning to add more tracks I'm fine with it, more races, more fun.
But if they are change tracks for these new tracks I will be very upset.

This season we already have 23 races, I doubt that they will make calendar even more longer. It's most likely that Miami will replace one of current circuits.

If I can recall correctly the plan is going up to 30 GPs /year in the following years reducing tests and racing in the hotter countries in the "European" Winter and ofcourse racing till December.

That's why I prefer the old school tracks to watching, every mistake is punished and you end up in the gravel, not like the new tracks where you have a "parking lot" to turn around. Hamilton was very lucky because of Bottas and Russell's accident, without the accident his mistake would have been punished higher and he would have ended up at the bottom of the field without safety car and red flag.

You do have a point, but the older/old school tracks tend to be too dangerous. And especially Imola has it's own dark history.
I won't mind if they put gravel as long as the walls are not too close and the cars don't get totaled.
