Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain?

From a technological perspective, BSC doesn't even come close to Etheruem. I don't know what makes some people think that BSC has the potential to beat etheruem in this regard. BSC actually only has one key feature for today's market, which is low tx fees, but the rest of it all ethereum is much better

I'm not an expert though but so far i understand from what i read that BSC 1:1 Copycat from Ethereum which is automatically making BSC have same "Features" With Ethereum but it was more centralized and using PoS Algorithm so i suppose we can compare it, Personally for now BSC is much better from Ethereum, Lower Gas Fees, Faster Transaction Speed and easy to use just Like Ethereum, Metamask was also supporting BSC RPC too which is making it more better but yeah it's centralized. BSC It's good alternative but i personally will choose Ethereum if ETH 2.0 Implemented.

If you look at the present I will choose BSC. Maybe everyone else thinks the same. Of course, the issue of fees is the benchmark. when it comes to cost issues, most definitely choose the cheaper one. and not only that, BSC transactions are also easy and fast.

I am using only a Binance Smart Chain as it has a lower fee than Ethereum and I know that a lot of people nowadays are always looking for lower transaction fees, if we have both ways to transact then of course we are going to choose the one with cheaper transaction fees. both of them were good platform , and any project that come from ethereum or binance smart chain have two character. we can find bad or good project in both of them. so comparing which is better doesnt necessary at all. we ever met legit project on ethereum and bsc , but we find scam project to in these.

I think both platforms have their advantages and disadvantages, so for me the two platforms are the same for making a transaction, so both platforms are very comfortable when we want to make a transaction, because both are very easy and fast when we make transactions.

Although I hold more ETH than BNB, I consider them all good because I am not too bothered about the issues that people still talk about.

good for you, because basically, the potential of these two coins looks so big, because they are competing for position, so they will continue to grow. I think the price of these two coins will be very high in the future. at the moment, I'm still very much inclined towards ethereum, it's just that the current BSC looks pretty good in every way.

expensive it used to be, you can see it now. everything gets cheaper. although not as cheap as BSC but all become more friendly.

I myself have both. ETH for investment but for trading ERC tokens I haven't tried it myself yet.

I'm a total fan of Ethereum and I don't have any doubt about the huge potential of this cryptocurrency but I am also one of you guys who were used to deal with the high gas fee of Ethereum and it is truly expensuve to used. But I can't deny also that Binance is truly agood cryptocurrency worth to invest with and with a friendly services especially when it comes to transaction fee. However, I can see already a good development of Ethereum today when it comes to gas fee it is lower than before.

I don't think that one is better than the other one, they have both pros and cons.  So I guess the question on which one is better is debatable.  If yo are talking about the transaction fee, if they are both at the same price, I think the transaction fee would be the same.  It only looks that BSC is cheaper because binance coin is way cheaper than ETH.  And if you look at that perspective then we can say that TRX network is way better than both since the transaction fee is way too cheaper.

At the moment Ethereum gas fees already have cheaper than before though it isn't cheap as BSC gas fees, still it's great works done by the dev after hearing the community issue have.

Back to the topic, if the main factor is the gas fees that you would prefer to use BSC instead of Ethereum network, then I suggest you try to use polygon network. The gas fees on polygon are quite cheap even cheaper than BSC and TPS (transaction per second) also quite fast. Furthermore, lots of projects already migrate to polygon network, I assume soon or later there would be many new DeFi projects popping up on its ecosystem.

to look now the adjustment that ETH made will also brings investors attentions, the fees are far lesser

than before and they are in the process of bringing ETH 2.0, that might bring more interest to those

Well, it looks like it will also have the same fate if the price of BNB is like the current price of Ethereum, of course the fees given will also be expensive, but if we do transactions between exchanges I prefer to use BNB instead of Ethereum because the exchange class fees given are quite high, which is 0.01 equivalent to 20$ but compared to the cost given by BNB it is much cheaper, therefore for now it is still good to use BSC/BNB.

Yea, price will also increase as the fee does too. But as long as we are happy and saving a lot of money choosing any of those, we'll going to continue using any of them. If someone prefers to continue using BNB for BSC transactions because it's cheaper than ETH's gas fee then that's also good.
