One of the reasons why binance smart chain becomes this big right now is because ethereum gas fee is very high and this force some projects to switch to BSC but what do you think will happen once ethereum gas fee goes lower in near few months? Will BSC faced same fate as binance DEX? Or BSC will remain the better option over ethereum?

The tendency of users to use any service must be with low cost considerations, this is commonplace and is highly sought after by the user, if the cost is expensive then users will think twice about using their services.

That's why some projects are switching to BSC, but if the cost of ethereum gas goes down, we believe that BSC is the right solution to use and there is a high chance that BSC will be a better choice than ethereum itself.

The reason is quite basic, if BSC can offer an advantage in trading, then they are most likely the next choice, but if BSC is not better than ethereum, then they will experience the same thing as Binance DEX.

Not necessarily the case. Because I see that BNB's seriousness in working has amazed me, so that currently BNB is the best.
It's different with ETH. ETH remains above BNB in my opinion and it is difficult for other Altcoins to beat it.

ETH also got a market as big as it is today was not easy and short.
BNB I guess still has another big journey and development to be the best.
but I agree with you to choose BNB in the long term. it will be a giant in the future. even I thought BNB would be on par with ETH.

That's your opinion and I would never suggest to anyone to choose BNB in the long term. What makes me sure in the long term is only in Bitcoin, not in BNB.
I think, some of my views on the topic in this thread, just admiring the performance of BNB since their first appearance until today.

If Ethereum gas fee reduces llower than bsc am sure many users will switch back to bsc but many just like me that's now addicted to bsc won't move.
I'll stick to bsc and I don't see why Ethereum gas fee will reduce and bsc stays high I think if the gas of eth reduces then the reduction won't be as low than that of bsc. Bsc will also be affected and reduce its gas too

It is mentioned that Ethereum London hard fork will impact on the network fees and will reduce it. I think that people overreact when talking that Ethereum fees are extremely expensive compared to BSC fees. How much it cost to make a slow transaction in Ethereum network? Around $2. Last time I made transactions on BSC network, it cost me 30 cents for token transaction and 6 cents for BNB transaction. BNB cost almost 8 times less than ETH. Just multiply 6 cents with 8 and that will be a fair comparison. And it turns that Ethereum transaction aint that much expensive as people count. It is expensive only if you transfer small amounts. But if you make $1000+ worth transaction. this $1+/- difference in fee is not a big deal.

In my opinion, that will not happen to BSC. BSC will remain the choice of many projects for a long time. Because apart from the gas cost which is cheaper than ETH, there must be other things to consider. However, ETH will still be as it is now, which is above BSC even though ETH will make changes to the shortcomings that are considered as their current weaknesses.

In principle, what you say is exactly what I mean. For me, ETH will still be above the BSC, even though many are currently using the Binance smart chain. And I'm also very confident, ETH will fix its shortcomings, and the fate of BSC will remain as it is today i.e. many projects are interested in using them (it won't be like binance DEX).

I will continue to use Bsc if my altcoins are stored in my bsc wallet and the bsc transaction fees are still low then I will continue to use them as a wallet to store my altcoins. so if ethereum transaction fees have recovered then i will use both.

BSC is hard because of all the scams coming off of it, it’s hard to know whether projects on there are real or scams. ETH on the other hand has potential but it’s just to expensive for the average person. This is why I personally am a fan of NEAR. NEAR does everything that ETH 2.0 promises to do and more. NEAR is fast, cheap and another plus is that’s it’s carbon neutral which for me is huge because we have to take care of our climate. NEAR also has the rainbow bridge which connects it to ETH so it’s easy to move from ETH to NEAR and there is no learning curve for developers. If I was super rich I’d use ETH but I’m not and so I use NEAR which is meant for the average person and gives us the opportunity to be financially free. I’d highly recommend checking NEAR out for yourself and seeing what you think!

As long as you got those altcoins that's in BSC, you have no choice but to keep them.
And if you have chosen to invest with those, you have no choice but to continue using them as well.

The main proof of eth improving its network is where the fee rates are normal for now, and I think ethereum will still be below bitcoin, even though currently Binance has a BSC network with several advantages. I think both are good altcoins, if I may choose to invest in both it will be very profitable in addition to having security, because it has a clear product

I am increasingly convinced that the eth fee will not be reduced...
maybe my thoughts are too wild, I mean, maybe the BSC is eth 2.0 that has been rumored so far IMO 'lol'. BSC is slowly shifting erc dominance, the majority of developers will definitely move from erc to bep20.

If Ethereum gas is very high, then their chances are very unlikely for us to use their services, this forces people to switch to something else that is cheaper.

But if Ethereum gas goes down, this is a good opportunity for us to take advantage of, and I believe that in the future BSC will be the best choice for us to use.

But to what extent, the level of influence of the BSC is able to influence the actions of people to use it. I believe that in the future BSC will be the right choice and an alternative for everyone.

In my opinion, both are better but ETH is very strong than BSC because eth have many supporter than BSCbut if you want to cheap fees token that you select BCS. BSC is also famous projet you can invest in BSC.

Even though the price of ethereum gas is high, but if we look at the price movement, I think it really paid off.  Imagine if you buy now and 1 month later the price of the coin goes up, of course it is very profitable.  I think we have to play it safe with conditions like this so we don't waste money.

Eth fee is now major issue in this crypto world, even Today also ether gas fee raise up more than expectation. People are facing problems but still no solution for it. Eth fee is only now affordable with them who have million of dollars for transactions and trade. Its out of normal people hand. So bnb becoming the better option day by day. How do you know ETH gas fees will be lower in near few months? I don't think it will happen soonTM, so I believe BNB's rise will go on in next couple of months. Even if they fix ETH gas fee problem it won't be near as BNB's low fees. People get tired over 100$ swaps so they switch out. ETH swap fees won't be 1$ anytime.

I agree with you mate, seeing the way things are going with eth, I also don't think the high transaction fees that has been the major problem with the blockchain for over  a year now will come down anytime soon, take the London upgrade that just happened on August 5th as an example, one would think that such upgrade should help bring down the gas cost a bit, but rather, it even pumped the gas cost higher than it was before the upgrade kicked of, so sincerely, am not sure the gas cost on eth blockchain is coming down anytime soon, and this also is a good news for BNB holders as the price is likely to keep going up since there are lots of demand for it.

Indeed for now many projects are using BSC network transactions, and this is the influence of the very high gas cost of ethreum but this does not mean that users of the ethreum network will be lost and I am sure BSC users are only a momentary diversion because the cost needed is very large to use ethreum, but we do not know how the fate of BSC for the future,and I think both can always be relied on.

I think BSC will keep having users even in the future, so many projects mostly NFT still using BSC even the newer ones ad they usually have their partnership with Binance and until now BSC still being frequently used by many people mainly the people who also uses Binance services and to have Binance Smart Chain as an alternative for ETH is okay i think. after all BSC was set to have really low gas price because it's for project like NFT projects.
