Same here....Do not use Freewallet!- April 2024

Hereby a warning for everyone, don't use this wallet - as soon as you want to withdraw you coins you are getting in a KYC loop where you never get out of... Multiple bank statements and other utility bills needed and now stock at the proof that the transaction I did into Freewallet was actually mine. Officially they ask for screenshots, but if you submit those they will not accept, without even telling why they don't accept. Then they need video's then they need screencast. All in violation with there own T&C were they only require screenshots:

Send screenshots of incoming transactions or deposits to Freewallet from the SOURCE PLATFORM. The screenshot must contain the hash, amount, and the name of the sending service fully and clearly.

They drag this on and on, see below response example:
Please take a short screencast demonstrating how you locate the transaction to Freewallet on that sending platform account history page, open its details, and click on a link that redirects you to the blockchain explorer.

All done but still not released my coins - propably will come with another insane request without telling why they don't accept earlier proof. See more info on X where everybody has the same issues.

To not only begin on why they suspend the account in the first place, just withdrawing is a "suspicious act"

Do not use Freewallet!

Hello,

We understand your concerns and frustrations regarding the verification procedure you encountered while using the Freewallet cryptocurrency wallet service. Ensuring the security of users' funds is our utmost concern. As part of our commitment to safeguarding assets, some users undergo a verification procedure. Freewallet.org stole 28000 of my dogecoins. I put a bitcoin in the app and was able to transfer it so because of my own laziness I though the won’t steal my dogecoins if they didn’t steal a whole bitcoin. How wrong I was, now I’m here crying over my stupid mistake

It is still possible to get your assets back. But you should know that only complaints and abuses help otherwise administration just usually ignores any tickets.

Apparently... If they really no  longer can make up stuff for you to send.. They just ignore you - no longer any response on the status of my ticket. I have given them every proof (already 5 times, many double unnecessary stuff). Hand in the "very last" thing - and they go blanc. What a complete scam.

You havent even given me a ticket. Of course now you dont even reply at emails.

Just so people are aware, they blocked 65k in usdt asked me for pictures and bank statements and whatnot twice and then stoped responding.

Ofcourse my lawyer is notified and this WILL be going to interpol.

I think this topic is explaining everything about why Freewallet often ignores tickets

They react only in cases where they see that the situation with blocking a particular wallet seriously harms their reputation. We have met clients whose assets have remained frozen for more than a year.

Lol these dudes froze 65k in usdt of mine. They asked for:

1) video holding the cell phone with the freewallet account and my name
2) bank statement
i send bank statement they didnt like the hand written stamped by the bank director one, they wanted a PDF, i asked for a PDF from the bank, the bank gave it to me, they said they couldnt take a pdf thats copied for another file, i had the GREEK STATE verify thats my account and they didnt like it, i downloaded a bank statement they they asked me a video of me downloading it. Lmao. Dicks. 65k means nothing to me, if anyone gives me info on their whareabouts, or any of their family member whereabouts, ill give them 65k in cash.

I told you before, i dont want the police involved, if anyone can give me information on where any of these guys live, or better yet where their relatives live i can guarantee you that everyone will get their money back.

They kept 65k in usdt of my money, i will pay 65k in cash to anyone that has information on their or their families location.

For some reason today i got a mail from eve "compliance@freewallet.org" saying

Dear Valued Trader,

We would like to inform you that your account verification request has been reviewed, and it looks like some vital information is missing.

To complete the procedure read the comments below and make the necessary changes.

Please provide us with a proof of residence and a certified translation of it attached. Notice that the document should refer to your name and contain your residential address. It also must have at least 3 months before its expiry date. Alternatively, you can submit a bank statement of your current account, credit card statement; council tax bill or tax return, utility company bill (electricity/water/gas), internet/landline phone/cable TV bill referring to your name and residential address. The document must be in Latin characters and have the date of the issue. Please note that the documents issued more than 3 months ago since the date of your application cannot be accepted.

If you have any questions about your account, please click here for our Support Center.

Regards,
Eve Team

This is an automated message, please do not reply directly to this email.

Of course the links are dead.

I have a question though, how are they making money off of this? I mean my money has been siting there for months, others have their money frozen but not going anywhere for years. Whats up with that?

Sorry to hear this. Sure, there is another way to scam people: pretend you want to help but ask for money or passwords, or something else.
But if we talk about Freewallet owners, we have some evidence about their real names. But this information should be reviewed.
