I don't think that will happen, the biggest reason why the price of the doge can go up so high is just because of Musk.

In terms of function, doge is completely useless, this coin is just for meme in crypto.

I understand much that without elon's shill doge wouldn't get this far and the price won't be this high but doge on its own functions well as a means of sending money international and it works really well. Doge without elon definitely gonna be lacking in its price chart but definitely
could live on its own, the community behind doge is also huge that's why it's still holding on top above top 20 for many decades simply because some people has found the use of this coin.
But I still believe that without elon doge could still get a bullrun within this 2021 bullrun alongside with bitcoin that leads the market.

There are several coins that function well as a a means of sending money. Musk's influence on the price was significant I would say. With him being involved in one way or another Doge grew a lot. If it can really keep bullrunning like lately without Musk, I don't know.

Dogecoin is unique because it's a joke coin and the price was so cheap back then, people use it for daily crypto transaction due to low fees.

The tweet from Elon musk may not be active to dogecoin as it is not positive as such to keep the fire of dogecoin. Nevertheless, dogecoin has been around along time, fees for bitcoin and Ethereum is high and many altccoins have also risen from this fact. It is an advantage that has moved in the direction of dogecoin and is riding straight to it, we have to keep enjoying the bull.

Well, a few point to correct here, dogecoin does have a team, just that the team aren't actively developing the project, they are really serious with it the way a normal crypto project team should, infact, a few days ago, I read some news on Twitter announcing the death of one of dogecoin's core developers, a lady who goes by the name sporklin, the full tweet can be found HERE, so dogecoin does have a team if you research well.

And on whether dogecoin is the only unique dogecoin, yes, absolutely, all others are nothing but copy cats, just like several developers have come out to name their coin after bitcoin, but in reality, this coins are never going to be bitcoin, they are nothing but fake.
And whether dogecoin will continue to increase in value without Elon musk, I think NO, yes, dogecoin doesn't not have any strong technological ideas backing its growth except for the shills from Elon, if Elon should stop tweeting about dogecoin and start tweeting about some other coin, people will sell off their dogecoin to invest in that other coin, dogecoin will completely return back to almost zero, that's what I feel.

I don't think the price of dogecoin would pumped if elon musk hadn't tweeted about doge. People only had interest because the tweet came from an influential and rich person but if the tweet came from only ordinary people, it would be ignored. Many speculate, they think that the price of dogecoin will increase too much so they buy it.

I doubt that, even in 2019 more specifically in march some rumour going around regarding dogecoin being abandoned by the developer and less developing progress means the coin isn't worth as much, if doge didn't steal elon's attention due to its branding and because it's a meme coin it will hardly get this far but regardless doge still gonna be a popular coin despite all of that.
It's just the coin might slowly being abandoned by the community as well like other old coins that aren't really getting that much attention nowadays.

It is not news that one of the thing that highly drives the market is hype which comes from attention; that is, most projects today might be struggling but once a prominent fellow or promoter backs it up and promote or tweet something about it, the project will start pumping, this is actually the reason why most project team now goes hugely into marketing to make sure their project grows while getting a lot of attention and new investors. Yes you are right. I'm just wondering how long these influences will keep such coins to stay at higher price levels. Definitely they cannot. They are not pumping for the benefit of those coins to have higher values but only for the reason of making some money out of those coins. So, after some point of time they will definitely start booking profits and then all other naive investors will get tabbed in-between.

I agree that dogecoin will go dumping if Elon Must completely stops tweeting about it but I'm not seeing he's going to stop at any near future.

In my own opinion, if Elon Musk didn’t tweet Dogecoin, I am pretty sure that DOGE won’t get pumped like what it did today. DOGE has no real use case, it’s just a funny meme coin that was hyped by Elon himself. My beautiful cousin was just lucky buying DOGE when it was still like $0.05 or something, but for sure it will make another downfall in the long run after this hype by Elon is over.

When did Musk tweeted about Dogecoin? If I am not wrong, it happened a few months back. However the rally in Dogecoin exchange rates started much before that. But there is no doubt that whenever Elon mentions about this shitcoin, it goes crazy. One reason is that the liquidity is very low when compared to the other shitcoins, and therefore it is relatively easy to manipulate this coin. For my part, I am not very comfortable in watching Dogecoin replacing a technologically sound cryptocurrency such as Cardano from the no.6 spot. It may be a temporary phenomenon, but this shitcoin is doing a lot of damage to the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem.
