Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum?

Take a look at both blockchains. Ethereum has an army of projects under it while Cardano has relatively smaller amount of projects. All coupled with the fact Cardano is a late bloomer, and you would see only one winner. Ethereum

I don't think so, if the price of ADA is 12 $ then maybe the price of ETH has reached more than 5000 $, I just compare it to the current price and of course if ADA goes up then ETH and other cryptos also go up, regardless of the development of each project.

I have seen on youtube where they have listed tons of ERC20 projects who plans to migrate to ADA network this coming alonzo update. I have no idea if its true but there is no reason for them to lie as well since its coming from officials and developers of the project. Even when there is a big dump to the crypto market, ADA still maintains its top position.

we need to see that first happening. will it push thru once eth deployed their eip 1559 this coming july? what if the gas efficiency will indeed improve after launching this protocol? are they going to stay under eth network? i believe most projects are migrating to another network, let's say bsc or ada, because of the fees involved under eth. however, once this is resolved, i believe they will change their stance as eth is still the popular network when it comes to smart contracts.
right now, i don't see ADA overthrowing ETH. that's too early to tell. we need lots of successful projects under ADA before they can even claim that they can compete with ETH.

ADA is slowly building its momentum to be the best digital cash available summing up the scalability, high security, low transaction fees, interoperability and especially considering the backlash of ETH with current gas fees.
Also the creator strongly believes that cryptocurrency absolutely have to communicate one with another and most likely this will happen in the next 3-5 years and there are rumors of Cardano/Litecoin connection bridge.

I wouldn't put Cardano at the top of Ethereum, but there are some points where Cardano is a much better version but it doesn't mean that it could surpass Ethreum since of its growth and it the closest to crypto to bitcoin.

We can see how Ethereum grows and how they continue to develop Ethreum that is why it fades off even in the Ethereum network, even though a lot of people hate it because of the high fees in the market still that is just because of the contested network meaning there is high traffic in the network.

But developers and investors clearly see a big potential in Cardano but it doesn't really have a big movement in the market, maybe it just doesn't have trendy news like Ethereum, but I will not be surprised if Cardano's market price explode.

ETH and ADA are good in their own ways.
ETH has a higher transaction fees compare to ADA but still there are projects that are being created on ETH blockchain although it is decreased now and they are choosing BSC over ETH.
Another thing is that, Cardano isn't released its Goguen mainnet which is the start of Smart Contract. I remember one project that is on ETH that will migrate to ADA which Singularity net (correct me if I'm wrong).

To answer that, right now I don't think so that it will happen. In terms of use case, ETH has more use cases than ADA. The only thing that ADA is better compare to ETH as of this moment is the transaction fees and staking since it requires lesser amount just to stake and there is no lockup compare to ETH which has a 2 year lockup.

Within the next years, I still believe that Ethereum will be on the top still. Both of the projects are evolving but still ETH will still be on the top. Just fix the transaction fee issue and it is good to go again .

Cardano doesn't necessarily need to overthrown ethereum to become relevant in the cryptocurrency industry. It's awesome to know that the team and developers are working assiduously on the project and I'm positive about the results which would be of immense benefit to the entire cryptocurrency space.

Can't prediction with altcoin right now because many time FUD coming and make bitcoin price dump more than 30%, last night bad news and FUD coming again after last week bitcoin and altcoin crash dump. I think still take few week if not any bad news from bitcoin and altcoin will have chance back to higher price. Without good news and support we loss hope and chance to see bitcoin and altcoin going again to higher price.

A story that the eyes of amateurs can also easily recognize but many people still like to attract opportunities to ADA from such topics, the tradition of trying to provoke the strong in order to gain attention has always been the basic path of the weak and lack of investors. Compare the most normal and most basic values, ADA has almost no great backing from any factors, it is clear that asking for a very high and competitive price is not suitable for it, ADA is too mediocre to stand out and become a force in crypto

What do you mean? ETH is unlimited and it's now worth thousand of dollars, it's about how investors support

the project and how good the developers will interact with the end users, ADA got a big potential just look how

it's been doin in terms of bringing the value up, slowly but progressive.

If the ADA coin increases by $ 12, will Ethereum sleep as long as the ADA price increase occurs? It is impossible to beat Ethereum's market cap. Ethereum is not a stable coin, anytime someone can increase the price of Ethereum if they want Ethereum to stay on top.

If the ADA coin increases by $ 12, will Ethereum sleep as long as the ADA price increase occurs? It is impossible to beat Ethereum's market cap. Ethereum is not a stable coin, anytime someone can increase the price of Ethereum if they want Ethereum to stay on top.

Its not about beating the marketcap, its the scalability and interoperability that ADA wants to achieve that ETH had not. The more ADA had built the network for projects willing to migrate to them, the more it could prove itself how robust it could be when it comes to its technology. But its yet to prove with the Alonzo update, if it won't work, I think people will be leaving ADA.

I think people care less about what ADA could actually do better than Ethereum, they will keep supporting Ethereum, although ADA is not as old as Ethereum it is still far off from flipping Ethereum on coin ranking, even Ethereum's market cap is about x2 of ADA's marketcap, ADA is a great coin for now it should just focus on gain a large community like Ethereum, flipping bitcoin or Ethereum = impossible, no coin can do that now.

Cardano needs to prove something first, because from what I see its just kind of hyped coin compare to Ethereum’s achievement through years. Now that they are still under development in building their smart contract we cannot judge yet if its effective or not.

In my opinion, there is a big gap when it comes comparing these two coin because Ethereum is on the top on the alternative cryptocurrencies and still improving and I think the improvement of Carndano these days is not enough to catch up Ethereum that fast.

In the short periode, Cardano difficult to overtake Ethereum because at the moment I dont see any project using blockchain smart contract of Cardano. But if the smart contract is live and then the ecosystem grow because of alot of more benefits than ETH, Cardano has chance to beat ETH in the long run. I have seen, currently some project stopped using Ethereum platform and then moved to others smart contract platform because reason of high fee and network congestion. Look at Sushiswap that want to move to smart contract of Avalanche, and more project can turn in to other blockchain if Ethereum do not fix the problem of their smart contract platform.

Ethereum is moving the network's confirmation method from POW to POS. Then Ethereum is not too different from Cardano and maybe even worse because Cardano has long chosen POS to decentralize the network.
Ethereum has a long-standing development ecosystem, Cardano is still fresh and they plan to release smart contracts on their blockchain in August
To conclude which blockchain is better, we need more time to evaluate what Cardano can do compared to Ethereum in the future and the level of community support.

I'm pretty sure Cardano will prove it either in the near future or later,
but if we talk about the Cardano coin, of course this coin is one of the most promising coins,
for now it is still not able to judge it so it's better for now to be patient and keep up with developments
