Cardano is on the top trending on coinmarketcap. I have no idea what's with it but it won't certainly change a fact that it won't be throwing the place of Ethereum.

It just really can't.

ADA is moving indeed and already surpass BNB, but in terms of overthrowing ETH that's still far and maybe will not happen. The only coin I remember back then was XRP, but it's just a quick turnaround and EYH managed to regain the position.
With Sol now which is also showing great movement, the chance that it will compete with ADA in chasing ETH spot, but along the way still the usages and investors support that will bring any project to a successful position, for now, it's ETH that enjoying that success.
Yeah, that was a quick overpass by ADA to BNB.

I thought that it will be long before ADA surpasses BNB but it has happened quickly. Ignoring the replacement of it to Ethereum then ADA is really doing good in these days.

But the question is how long will it stay on the top 3?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I think Cardano is far away from ethereum in terms of value, if we look on market capacity Cardano is very small compaired to ethereum that rank as #2 next to bitcoin which is #1 it is very clear that Cardano cannot overthrow ethereum, Cardano present price is 2.3$ while eth is 2,887$ and if Cardano rise 10× of it's price today I will also believe that ethereum will rise first.

Do you call ADA as a new coin? How can? It was found in 2015 and was officially launched in 2017. I think this coin isn't a new coin. But if we compare with ETH, ADA seems too young to compete with ETH. However, in my opinion, ADA has great progress (improvement). Someday, ADA is very possible to be a strong competitor of ETH. So, don't underestimate this coin.
It doesn't need to be underestimated and also doesn't need to be compared because ETH and Cardano are not only far from age but also far from development so it's a little less feasible to compare, especially since both of them have very different prices in the market.

Indeed, at this time Cardano is in an on-fire state, where its growth has been very significant in the last few months, so we can see Cardano has been able to beat the popularity of binance, but I never thought that Cardano could overthrow etherem, because Ethereum is an altcoin that already very strong in crypto, and its users from time to time are increasing, the price is also very far apart, namely $2.88k and $2.20, of course it is very difficult for ADA to compete with ETH,

In terms of price, volume and market-cap cardano stands no where near Eth. I dont know why we are making such comparison. Cardano concept is no doubdt innovative but that doesn't means it can take him ahead of most popular DAPP platform aka Eth. If BTC is king of crypto then Eth is the Queen.

If you read the thread made by OP on the first page, you must understand that OP didn't compare ADA and ETH. OP only asked the community whether ADA market cap has a chance to overtake  ETH market cap. I think it is not impossible ADA market cap to try overtaking ETH market cap somedays. However, it can happen if ADA has very significant progress in its development, while ETH is a bit difficult to grow more. Not sure this can really happen, but surely not impossible.

The community named it to be a much better version of ETH.

which community ? the ADA community ? lol "Much Better Version of Ethereum" in what area?
Quote
ADA is slowly building its momentum to be the best digital cash available summing up the scalability, high security, low transaction fees, interoperability and especially considering the backlash of ETH with current gas fees.
Now it is ADA , but in the past it is Litecoin and then there is Ripple , now cardano is in the peak of being manipulated and controlled by the whales.
Quote
Also the creator strongly believes that cryptocurrency absolutely have to communicate one with another and most likely this will happen in the next 3-5 years and there are rumors of Cardano/Litecoin connection bridge.
then 2 shitcoins will be together connected  Grin
Quote
Can we see a market cap bigger than Ehereums? At the actual price rates this means it should be around $12 per ADA.
Will it happen?
there is a need for x5 before climbing on that High market capitalization ..

not happening any time soon.

It's just what they say, it won't happen although they do have big plans for ADA.

Recently they were doing some event in Africa in which they say they got a contract with the government of Ethopia, the price spike a bit for a moment.

There are many rumors for this project but end up now very effective in making the price go up.

The only way you could find out about its real value is if they release the smartcontract and right now they don't have it after years of planning.

Why do you say that? either they don't have the ability to do it, or you know the ability they have so you very optimistically say so.

Recently they were doing some event in Africa in which they say they got a contract with the government of Ethopia, the price spike a bit for a moment.
The brief price spike was not due to a contract with the Ethiopian government, but because there was a movement in the market where some people made purchases on Cardano in very hefty sums.

There are many rumors for this project but end up now very effective in making the price go up.
The ups and downs of the Cardano price are still very much dependent on the market recovery and Bitcoin, so if you really hate Cardano, then forget about Cardano and never look at it again when the price starts to rise.

The only way you could find out about its real value is if they release the smartcontract and right now they don't have it after years of planning.
They definitely know better when to launch their smart contract to the public on projects they already manage, so you don't need to ignore this and you don't need to ridicule them because their abilities are still better than yours.

Let's watch what will happen from now to next three years so we can see for ourselves. For me it will be hard for the market cap of ADA to reach that of Ethereum because Ethereum had really gotten the adoption and more people are yet to accumulate more of Ethereum making the market more larger while Cardano will need more time to reach the level of current Ethereum market cap.

In this thread, most of the people are bullish on Cardano. I know it's a legit project and good for the long-term investment. There is a lot of post on social media regarding Cardano right now. But I don't think Cardano can able to bet on Ethereum so easily. Ethereum is very undervalued right now. Every day a lot of Ehteruem is burning, So the supply is decreasing and making demand for the Ethereum. Ethereum smart contracts are like a supercomputer. still, most of the new(coin) project is created using Ethereum smart contracts. All of this makes Ethereum queen in the crypto industry. I am not saying Cardano is not a good blockchain. Cardano is also very potential but bets Ethereum will not be so easy. As a long term investor, I am also holding Cardano Smiley whos knows what will be happening in the future?

Cardano has a great chance to beat ethereum, currently ethereum users are switching to BNB and Cardano because of the many BSC-based projects that are more successful and faster, to beat Ethereum of course Cardano must be supported by large projects so that it will automatically make great use of Cardano.

I do not deny the opportunities when Cardano smart contract is released but to judge it as a great opportunity to compete with ethereum, I have not seen a correlation in force because except for the element that is similar to ethereum, Cardano still doesn't have a project with its latest version while ethereum is a series of projects that have progressed like never before. BSC has more correlation in terms of capacity but is still one level lower than ethereum in terms of experience, so I think Cardano needs to correlate with BSC before facing ethereum directly.

There are many bits of hearsay for this venture however end up now exceptionally viable in making the cost go up. The main way you could look into its genuine worth is on the off chance that they discharge the smartcontract and at the present time they don't have it following quite a while of preparation. I for one don't figure, that an undertaking will drive Ethereum away from the second situation as far as marketcap.
