Will Cardano overthrow Ethereum?

I know Cardano creator is one of Eth devs, but Ethereum is far off cardano in terms of market cap and popularity, ada is still growing I remember it was among the top 3 coins in the market at one point in time, it was competing with bnb for the third place  but now bnb has grown far more than it and has been able to maintain the third position while ada still dropped more, I don't think ada can still takes Ethereum's place in coin ranking.

The community named it to be a much better version of ETH.
ADA is slowly building its momentum to be the best digital cash available summing up the scalability, high security, low transaction fees, interoperability and especially considering the backlash of ETH with current gas fees.
Also the creator strongly believes that cryptocurrency absolutely have to communicate one with another and most likely this will happen in the next 3-5 years and there are rumors of Cardano/Litecoin connection bridge.

Can we see a market cap bigger than Ehereums? At the actual price rates this means it should be around $12 per ADA.

Hard to say for those coins who are sitting below ETH as of this moment.If we do try to compare on which one does have a bigger scope in several industries then we can really say that ETH does have even more.
Imagine on how many coins or projects been using smart contracts plus those defi's trends then you can tell on how big it is and its really obvious or can really be seen on very own eyes on how
far it did stretch out.Im not saying that ADA isnt capable of but beating up ETH is still questionable and might wont really be happening same talks or goes for those coins who are trying out
to climb up on the ranks or recognition.

I don't know about it, really but it finds no connection if this coin could dethrone ETH or not because the truth is that it never happens. ADA doesn't have such capacity to do that and I don't see any reason that investors will look for Cardano than the most promising altcoin in the market. So OP, better not to stress yourself thinking badly that Cardano will be becoming the king of altcoin coz that will remains impossible even for the next couple of decades.

I don't think ada can still takes Ethereum's place in coin ranking.

It's not only ADA but DOT was also created by ethereum core develop member as well.
Ada got beaten BNB and it was decreasing again to the top 10. DOT is a better than ADA. ADA will not able to surpass ethereum and this will never happen. ADA could not sustain its position in the past and that's proven if ada will not become a competitor for ethereum at least not for this time but who knows.
BNB has been taking the place that owned by ADA and i think BNB is much better than ADA. So far some people keep argued that ada can surpass ethereum while the fact said the opposite thing.

Cardano's platform still hasn't been able to beat ethereum. even it can't beat Tron or Polkadot yet. Cardano will only be an alternative choice now or in the future. even so Cardano also has the opportunity to develop.

Agreed, only a very small percentage of new developers interested to use this platform. ADA is totally overvalued at this moment. We can also make a comparison between any smartcontract platforms.
The demand is still centralized on BNB and ethereum. ADA is ADA and it will never able to compete with ethereum.
Ethereum will fix its scalability problem very soon and this is a disaster for smartcontract platform like ADA, DOT and BSC

it is a piece of shit coin.

all pos coins are fundamentally bonds with zero backing.

only pow coins have actually hard iron backing in the form of gear and of course the conversion of power into wealth.

So the answer to your question  is yes if eth fully abandons pow.

and no if eth continues some type of pow!

Eth has not abandoned pow and until they do they will always beat any and all pos coins.

I do not think so .Ada is a very slow project. For two months it is not reaching to 2 dollars.On the other hand Ethereum reached to 3500 .
After launching Eth 2.0 Gas problem will be resolve and Eth will be act like before. Many projects are still on ETH Blockchain.

Most of the project that says as Ethereum killer are gone now, and if ADA failed to deliver maybe its his destiny as well because ETH is a strong and established project, I just can’t see the reason why it needs to be replaced. The fees issues are slowly back to normal, the fees are cheaper now and ETH just made its new ATH while ADA is still going on a sideways trend. There’s no chance for ADA to replace ETH, let’s accept this and just buy the good coins, ADA is still a good one.

I believe it is impossible, at least Cardano can only overthrow BNB, because in my opinion it is very difficult to overthrow Ethereum, so that until whenever  Ethereum will remain the king of all altcoin and ranked 2nd on coinmarketcap, so there will not be any altcoin that can overthrow Ethereum including Cardano, because Ethereum is more popular than any altcoin at this time.

Some other coins also claim like this. Like we ever faced about NEO, EOS, BNB that also claim to replace Ethereum. But now it seems so difficult. Except for the BNB. Binance smart chain itself can be a serious and also hard competitor for Etehreum moreover right now. there are many more cryptocurrencies that use the erc20 platform.

Hard to conclude since both are good projects but with the developments and success it's still far from

being made, ETH are way far from ADA since a lots of supproters who continue to backup ETH and with

the incoming updates, where most of are expecting for much cheaper fees. Surpassing ETH would be

a tough task to every alts that are competing around.

I don't think this will happen, for this you need to have a recognizable brand. Why do you think BSC has become popular? There are a lot of projects on the market that can be like BSC or even better, but for some reason BSC has become popular. The whole cryptocurrency world knows about binance and not only, but few people know about Cardano.

BSC is popular because of the support from its own market, namely Binance and the Binance exchange was also popular before BSC was born by them, so this is a very natural thing, so it is clearly different from Cardano which does not have the support of any exchange, even though Cardano is already on board many exchanges at the moment.

There are so many opinion that Cardano is better than Ethereum in some part. There are so many predictions that Cardano is the killer of Ethereum. I agree to others opinion, in order to defeat Ethereum. Cardano must perform so well to the point passing the popularity, adoption, and partnership of Ethereum before ADA overpower ETH.

From the past there were also those who compared BNB and ETH and predicted that they would be able to overthrow ETH, but in fact BNB is still far behind ETH, as well as ADA today, let alone overthrowing ETH to overthrow BNB is very difficult actually, but who knows if investors start invest more in ADA than in ETH going forward

Cardano overthrowing ethereum has been in this space for discussion and I wonder if this topic will help in the development of both coin.  I think when we highlights the pros and cons of these coin,  we should be able to know which one will be useful than the other. In the light of high fee on ethereum network,  cardano may be a solution for lower fee and less energy consumption for mining transactions!
