Odds may look a bit generous, but Ferreira are actually a decent team, finished in top 5 in the local league last season...they shouldn't be underestimated

i actually like Roma ml at 1.9. First big game under Mou, the squad in high spirit and ready to show the new boss what they're capable of...i'm considering a single ticket 🤔
 
but i took a special earlier today on SB, "Basel, Roma, Feyenoord, Anderlecht & Tottenham All To Win @12". Looks good on paper, eh? pretty much all the big teams to win, but you just know an underdog is gonna rekt this special lol i reckon is gonna be Feyenoord, wouldnt be the first time they mess up one of my tickets  

You were damn right! I didn't do my homework on Ferreira, I was just enticed by the odds, It's 50 minute into the game, and Tottenham are yet yo register a single shot on target, while Ferreira are ahead with 1 goal, just before the break.

It's going to take quite a miracle for them to turns this game over and win.

I would say that it is not really that shocking that Trabzonspor is not even waiting to win, or get a tie. Roma is a much better team, look at the players, but it is expected when Roma pays so much for players while Trabzon doesn't have even the half of that. Right now Roma has about 1.89 odds and Trabzon has about 3.70 odds, of course slight changes do happen here and there but the reality is that nobody really expects that. Obviously just because it is not expected doesn't mean that it is not going to happen, of course it could happen as well, but it is unlikely. Copenhag game is a good deal, I would say 1.5+ goals is a good bet, it is definitely going to be easy and not a high odd but it is definitely easy to pick that and win.

I think that the match of the day was Trabzonspor - Roma. And actually, Trabzonspor were better considering the statistics of the game. They had more goal chances than their opponent. But I guess it stemmed from Mourinho's game plan. He wanted just to get an advantageous result here. And they got it by winning 2-1. It was good to see Trabzonspor's new forward Cornelius scoring also.

Spurs today showed that they don't really care about Conference League, you saw their squad? So, in the end, they just made 2 shots in total, 0 on target and lost 0:1. Seems that they don't want to play in 3rd tier competition. But I think for them even Conference League trophy would be good, there isn't much persoective for them in EPL or domestic cups.
Teams from other big leagues - Roma, Union, Rennes, Feyenoord won their games.
Anderlecht 3:3 Vitesse and Neftci 3:3 Maccabi, seems it was quite crazy game.
Riga failed to beat team from Gibraltar at home, so, they still have great chance to reach group stage.
And as always, my traditional under 2.5 goals on Rakow game was succesful again .

This loss may cost them European competitions. Maybe they only want to stick to Premier League but their best bet would be to get fourth spot there.

We had two unexpected results:
- Paços de Ferreira surprises and beats Tottenham, 1-0. So it goes to the advantage of the second leg. It was not an expected result.
- Santa Clara came closer to the group stage of the Europa Conference League after beating Partizan, 2-1. One of the clubs with the fewest financial resources in Portugal, it is making an incredible start to the season. Congratulations Santa Clara.

This loss may cost them European competitions. Maybe they only want to stick to Premier League but their best bet would be to get fourth spot there.

@ingiltere it’s obvious that Spurs wants to crash out of this tournament, and then they want to try and win the premier league, and this move is super risky because their squad doesn’t have what it takes to win the premier league.

I strongly feel that they should wake up and realise that winning this cup would have been their best shot at playing in the Europa League, because securing the top 6 spot won’t be easy this year.

The Portuguese first game in charge ended in a victory. Mourinho's Roma did a good job by wining away from home. A fantastic move in an awesome direction. Mourinho should add some attacking flair to his defensive nature and improve on how he manually handles players, Jose will see himsekand his winning formula. Trabzonspor had the game to themselves with more possessions and shots on target. If Roma players understand Mourinho, they could become a rejuvenated team like he did with Chelsea in 2004, turning AS Roma into an invincible football team. He’s done that in the past and can still do it. Josè is a good coach and I think if it continues this way, Roma will be a serious contender of the scudetto.

Well. I cannot say I did not expect it. No Kane no Son and I have to admit even as a Spurs fan I did not recognize all the names out on the lineup yesterday. Paco's most famous win in a long time I guess and Spurs most humiliating in a long time.

I agree with that, Trabzonspor deserves this match. I didn’t watch the match live though. I saw the highlights today and checked the stats in the match. Trabzonspor has shown tremendous performance. They are playing much better than at least AS Roma. But the victory went to Roma. I hope Trabszonspor will get that in the 2nd leg.

Surprise, but not impossible. Gent struggled against RFS Riga. Rakow is better team than Riga, so I expect that it won't be easy for Gent. One interesting thing about Rakow - they scored just 1 goal in 4 qualifying games. They failed to score against Suduva in both games and scored against Rubin only in extra time.

Maybe this was more of a calculated risk where manager did not want to burden first team with travelling in very delicate part of season when training sessions are at their maximum. We will see if they will play with stronger team on their home pitch. They were awful but result is just 1:0, easy to turn around.

My Rijeka had 1:0 in difficult away game against PAOK but they conceded in last seconds of the match. Nevermind, still a good result to bring home from hostile stadium like the one in Greece

Watched the Partizan match.Wasnt satisfied with how Partizan was playing,i think Santa Clara had a little bit of luck in this match.But i still think Partizan can at home secure the group stage for sure in front of their crazy fans.

Those underdog matches i really dont understand,how did they even come to those rounds i think Uefa needs to fix their advantage system for the qualifications.For example Partizan who should be a favorite in all qualification matches got all strong opponents.While Lincoln Red imps from Gibraltar who shouldnt be favorites in any of the rounds are playing against a team who is equal to them and can go into the group stage while other much much stronger teams wont even make it to the group stage because they are playing against their level or higher

Tottenham lost 1-0 to Ferreira today. Although it seems to me that they have no interest in the Conference League. Because I haven't seen any player in Tottenham's previous match against Manchester City. This is Tottenham's second-tier team. Feyenoord, on the other hand, beat Rlfsborg 5-0. An extraordinary win.

It seems to me that for the top English football teams there is only one important international club competition and that is only the Champions League.
All other international football competitions are not interesting enough for them and they do not try too hard and do not play with the best players, unless the opportunity arises to win a place in the Champions League.  
As for Rijeka, they had a very big chance to win in Greece but they missed it.
It will be very difficult for them to beat PAOK in Rijeka and I think the Greeks are the favorites.
However, Rijeka also has chances and it will be a very interesting match. It is obvious that it is a handicap for PAOK that the Greek championship has not started yet.

It was a completely different team that beat City (and also now that yesterday beat Wolves, their manager's former team),,, as soon as the lineup became clear I guess the home team was super confident and they had every right to be, as I said, even I did not recognize half the names easily.

1-0 3 games in a row now, win or loss, that is how tight Spurs plays.
