Right, so updated the thread, and with the final results, so we can always look back fondly until the day I die or something and stop updating.

Roma deserved it? Think so. I know I backed Feyenoord all the way but on the night itself, it was Roma on my ticket. Italians didn't do anything special, but the Dutch were horrible with attack as well, so Roma did their job.

Agree slightly with KTChampions, negative football in the league is poor, and if you don't have the budget, it's what you do. But the time for that is over in the top echelons. Conference League maybe where attrition football goes to retire.

Jose Mourinho have give good touch with AS Roma by giving UEFA Conference League trophy although failed get champion league spot ticket on Serie A standing position but have chance for AS Roma become big top team on Serie A next season. I am waiting when AS Roma back to champion league again and see how effect Jose Mourinho if really back to champion league. AS Roma fans will give respect for Jose Mourinho after giving trophy trough long time AS Roma never any achievement trophy actually on Europe competition.

Jose Mourinho just needs time with this AS Roma team maybe two seasons or three..I could feel the passion and connection between the fanbase  and the players..it was down to believe He (Jose) has won everything in club football but the way he cried during that semi-final victory over Leicester city was the crowning and the most defining moment of their European journey in what will go down in history as the champions of the inaugural European conference league .The way he turned Tammy Abraham from a deem to surplus striker at Chelsea to one of the highest goal scorers in seria A this season will also define a season we can arguably call a successful one...the uefa conference league might not be as prestigious as the UEFA Champions League but surely I know Jose Mourinho will build a Strong Roma team next season from this Victory

The Special One coach managed to demonstrate to AS Roma that he is still in charge. He now has another major European trophy in his collection with the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy. Honestly, I did not like Jose Mourinho as a coach because I always thought that he can only bring good results with better teams but looking at what he has done with the Roma squad this season I think he really deserves some praise. Yes, I know that arguments can be made that Roma could have had better results this season but I believe they have done well and if the coach is given a little more time with this squad I also agree that he will be able to do good things and bring better results with this club. He does need to be active in the transformer market though.

Most of us may not like the way Mourinho plays but we cannot say anything to him except a big congratulations as he managed to bring back Roma to win an international trophy after more than 20 years and this to me looks like a really nice achievement.I saw the post match and saw happy fans from Roma everywhere,some of them were crying from joy saying finally after many years we managed to win something,this moment is something very special for us.

Football is not just about winning trophies but winning at a club that has won nothing for decades is worth celebrating.

To be honest, at some points it did look like this team could do better but at several times it feels like the team is not going to even finish in the top six. And to have top-tier performance with this team the coach needs a little more time and a little more money to spend.

The Amazing thing about Jose Mourinho is that he even takes the hardest job and brings something out of it ..He is a champion and a winner..I watched FC Porto's run to the final in 2004 and I saw passion and desire from the players..The truth is all the teams José Mourinho has successfully spells with have not achieved the level of success he gave me after he left...I remember his first interview at Chelsea where he tagged himself the special one..he turned Chelsea and FC Porto in to a fortress that didn't loose a league or European match for more than two years.. achieve the highest point tally in laliga history..the treble in 2010 with inter Milan..now the uefa conference league with Roma ..this is just the beginning..

It was a really nice match between Roma and Feyenoord. It wasn't easy for any side to win this final match actually and Roma had fewer chances than Feyenoord as well. But this still wasn't an obstacle for Roma to eliminate their opponent and reach the championship. They resisted high amount of Feyenoord attacks in the second half very well and managed to win by 1-0. Mourinho must be very happy to win a European tournament after a long break. After this success, I guess Roma would continue with him next season too.

Because the conference league is just running for the first time and we see Roma as the first cup winner.
Mourinho did a very good job, I didn't think it would last 1-0 until the end because of Feyenoord's dominance of Roma from attack and so many chances, but Mourinho was able to do a great defense so Roma can win this season.
The players are really happy with what has been achieved and Mourinho is still good in terms of the final to get it done.

Seem like a parking bus strategy, AS Roma keeps it holds 1-0 until the finish. I don't watch the match also, but when we look at how they spent a lot of money for this year, they have deserved but with notes for championship 3 level, I think Mourinho still has not much to offer the trophy for this year, seem like failed. but, congrats for his struggle.

That is what Mourinho is famous for and I expected the same. However, if you watched the game you would know that Roma literally had attacks on 80th+ minute and that means they weren't really parking the bus.

When you park the bus that means all 11 of your players could be in your half and you will simply just not try to get scored on and that's it. Whereas, Roma actually attacked, even missed a goal at around 84th minute if I am not wrong, so Mourinho is showing glimpses of changing his style. He has been such a defensive minded coach all his life that eventually that caused him a bit of a trouble and he "dropped" to Roma in a few years from UCL winner Real levels.

It must definitely be a special moment for Roma to win the Europa Conference League title. Because it was organized for the first time and it was going to be special to become the first champion team of the tournament. Mourinho and his students did a great job because of that. I see an important level of improvement for Roma this season. Feyenoord had to fight back and therefore seized the initiative and began to actively attack from the beginning of the second half, when he carried out dangerous attacks. Roma was very tactful in this match. Jose Mourinho was aware of the opponent's weakness. He was well aware that Feyenoord's players were not very experienced. Feyenoord will not be able to score if Roma plays completely defensive. So after scoring the first goal in the 32nd minute, Roma played defensively. Yes I agree with you.. no such thing like negative football.. football is all about bringing successful and trophies to a team..and if a defensive tactical approach is capable of bringing the trophies then it's nice....As a coach you try to analyse your opposition players and capitalize on their weaknesses..that's exactly what Jose Mourinho does to the big games He just relax, park the bus and hit you on the counter, when he came to Chelsea in 2004 there was no way that Chelsea side could match the team and individual qualities of Sir Alex's Manchester United and Arsene Wengers Arsenal..even in Porto where he won his first Uefa champions League that Porto team cannot be compared to the Real Madrid side that had a zizo and Ronaldo of Brazil..not even the AC Milan side that had the likes of Andres Pirlo and clearance Seedorf...or the Manchester United side of sir Alex Ferguson..he won the premier League back to back in his first and second season against all odds..Jose Mourinho deserves some respect.
