What are some long term projects for holding?

now the market price has soared, it is difficult if you only want to keep coins for only 6 months. maybe you better invest in a long period of 3-4 years. many coins are promising at this time. like BNB, Banana, and even the ones that are being talked about right now are Shiba inu.

Six months and more is not really a long-term hodling. Long-term holding means at least 2-3 years. In the past, it has also been shown that this is the time period with which one has virtually never made a loss with the vast majority of projects. I have personally set my definition for long term as more than 5 years. The coins I have hold for long terms will stay in there for more than 5 years at the least.
The rest I might use them for short term swing trading or trading based on the trend.

If would consider ETH, SOL and BTC to be my long term bets.
BNB, SOL, DOT, MATIC and KSM would be my short term bets.

I don't know why you still don't know this, but I think just by reading a bit, you will realize that most of the coins in this industry are very volatile if not all, since probably the entirety of the altcoins in this industry moves with the price of bitcoin. So I don't think you will find a coin in this industry that is not volatile. My advice though for beginners like you is to start small on well established coins and gradually increase capital as you get the hang of things here. And when you manage to get enough confidence in your investing ways, you can start investing on start ups that have great potential because coins thata are still starting up can deliver quite a lot of profits for early investors. The only downside is that you have to pick wisely since most of start ups are scams or have veey low chance of succeeding. Good luck.

I'm not one of the top researchers, but you can't finish your research if you follow all one suggestion. You can research everyone's common suggestion. Vechain, Harmony, DIA, Cartesi those altcoins I have, but maybe I will change to WAN, QKC, AION and TT. Still, I don't have a huge portfolio to invest in. That's why I made the decision. You must take your decision as your portfolio.

Look at the top 20 coins in coinmarketcap, those that you can afford to have taken, this is the same suggestion I gave to my friends and now they already have a big portfolio, too bad every time I give them advice, I am unable to by because I don't have funds, while they have a lot, this top 20 coins never fail if you have look at them for the past 5 years they have grown a lot, which I expect more in the coming years.

I would not recommend meme coins for long-term holding. You will just end up losing the value of it or just ROI which would suck since you wasted time waiting and checking every once in a while. You could try NFT coins that promise a good project but I don't know much of them yet.

token exchange is a good choice for long-term investment, and HT also has great potential considering that Huobi is one of the largest and most trusted exchanges today. choosing tokens or coins from projects that have clear functions and developments can help us make choices, especially in the long term.

I am awaiting specifically for ETH this coming month, because of their EIP 1559. It may boost their price if they can deliver what they are supposed to deliver. BNB on the other hand, is still growing because of the projects that are still being created under their platform. For other alts, you need to assess them one by one what is their real deal in the market and in terms of their developments, can they really attract users that will actively use their network?
