What are some long term projects for holding?

I'm new to this whole thing and recently I've realised that too many projects are volatile and not trustworthy.

Any suggestions for tokens that are more trustable and worth holding for 6 months and more? I will do my own research of course.

First, you have to tell why you have an interest in investing now, even when you mentioned the time. Actually, I don't need to mention any names, all of them prices are very low. But I won't reveal any names for a short term, for a long time you can choose "Harmony" projects then Cartesi. Those coins' prices were very low when I bought them. Harmony "ONE" is now my favorite project, but the top altcoins are also good.

I agree with your statements. I think these coins will have an awesome future and will grant a significantly increasing assets.
Also I think we have to add Ethereum in the list, because ethereum is so big now and I think it will be bigger in the future, so many investors who already invest and believe in this coin.

I was going to say Bitcoin, but then you said it’s going to be six months. If you’re planning to make double your investment, I don’t think that is going to happen with bitcoin in six months time. So maybe an altcoin, but I wouldn’t say Ethereum either.

Maybe coins like Cardano, Polygon, Polkadot and Binance coin will be a good choice to go with. But if you invest in Bitcoin with a plan to hold it for more than a year I believe you’re going to make good profit. Finally, you can also do more research like you have said, that will go a long way to help you.

There is plenty of innovation in crypto such as ICO , POS . Farming . NFT or staking coin.just choose something you are interested in. and do your research before put your money in any investment. These types of investments are very risky. i still stick to daily trading.

It is personal preference, check social media accounts of gem hunters to find the best possible ROI gem altcoins. Investing in top altcoins will not give you huge returns on the investment, try hunting small marketcap altcoins with huge potential especially tech-related new projects that will worth millions on altcoin season.
The ADA  BNB XRP EOS looks like a sweet investment in the bear market session, buy in small parts while market is going down. HODL the potential altcoins at least two more years and don't overthink about the altcoin portfolio. Just my 2 cents.

You should buy Bitcoin or strong project coins. Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, ADA, Matic, Arpa, XRP and some more strong project. You should add some of these coins in your profolio, when you come after 6 months you will see your profolio will be full of profit.

Its a good coins, as long you spare the investment to some of the good projects, i doubt you will hurt a big loss after 6 months.
My preference coins is EOS, XLM, IRIS, TRX. Most of them are platform not just a coin, thats the reason i preferred them.

In my opinion for long term hold you should go for the top 50 coins on CMC. In particularly the top 10 if you do not want to do your own research. Always insure you keep Bitcoin and Ethereum as your preferred one and whenever possible try to accumulate more of these two.

Holding coin for duration 6 month more is good idea because after long duration for bullish season, the market can be near with trend changing. I think coin of DEFI and smart contract platform still have potential to raise, my pick is BNB, CAKE, SOL, CURVE, AVAX. I have all these coins in holding until ETH turned 4000$ weeks back and I instantly let go of them all, now I'm buying back little by little taking the advantage of every dips, all I can say is these coins will go way down very soon and that will be good time to start picking them up one by one

If I may suggest, now is the best time to rebuy those coins mentioned because the bottom is almost if not already in. of course of it breaks 33900 something level support, you should sell immediately. By the way, there are quite a few great altcoins right now that are still on their early stages. I won't drop any names since I don't wanna be accused of shilling but if you try and search IN THIS FORUM, you will see that quite a few that are just starting up have great potential to bring massive returns(long term). There are actually many good coins out there which are worth buying and would surely fetch out good profits in months to come but no matter what do your research and always be sure you know much about the project before jumping in. The crypto market is really volatile and you need to invest with caution so as not to end up loosing funds, most new projects turns out to be scam and move away with people's money, but i can recommend $near token for you because there got a very strong project and the token is still undervalued, so it's a good one.

if for the long term it is better to choose a coin whose function and development continues. BTC, ETH, BNB, are the best choices in my opinion, but please note that long-term investing requires patience. a quality project and for the long term usually takes time to achieve the best price, you need to understand the roadmap and important events from the development of the project.
I like coins like that more than big coins because of the hype, it goes up fast but goes down and then it's worthless

Bitcoin is the best option for long term investment, investing in altcoins can be very dangerous especially when they start to fall in relation to bitcoin and it takes many months for the price of altcoins in relation to bitcoin to recover. If you want to invest in new projects then you should look for projects that are very popular and that can generate quick returns and then exit that project because the competition has become too big and holding new currencies for more than 3 years is too risky
