so far I can't believe that Brazil lost without at least not having managed to score at least 1 goal. one thing is to lose, which is normal, but to lose without scoring at least 1 goal is something bad. another point was the poor positioning of the brazilian goalkeeper made the argentina score 1 goal. Yes, what you said has been discussed before and it's true and Argentina deserve to be champions of Copa America 2021 after beating Brazil 1-0 in the final and also playing very well even though Brazil also played really hard trying to equalize the score and it didn't work.
but Emiliano the Argentine goalkeeper was able to show a very good performance in guarding Argentina's goal throughout the match and thanks to his great contribution, Lionel Messi and his friends were able to lift the championship trophy.

Actually Brazil are statistically superior and also dominate the game only Argentina's defense and their goalkeeper are very good and very disciplined in playing and are luckier than Brazil.

I honestly thought Brazil would equalize because they kept attacking after conceding a goal from De Maria's shot in the 22nd minute, and overall Argentina played well including goalkeeper Emiliano.

Finally Messi has his first national title and he can think of retirement with at least one big title for the nation. He does not owed the nation that title but I believe he will feel better from now. In next big World Cup or Coppa America, Messi will begin with less pressure.

Had to go watch the highlights of the Copa America as the game fell at an ungodly hour, not so ungodly though for me to view a game but then, it was a classic game for sure. The Di Maria goal left Casemiro wondering where Di Maria came from, how he got there alone and the Di Maria on the other hand wasted no time in taking his decision on how and where to place the ball. It was perfect to have the ball lobbed into the goal and by that, gave Argentina the trophy. Actually Brazil is a little bit better statistically than Argentina, but Argentina's defense is very solid,  especially Montiel's performance is extraordinary
once in a few times breaking the Brazilian attack. But Messi did hold a very heavy responsibility in that match, therefore there is a golden opportunity

Can't say enough how happy I am for my man Messi. I don't know about his future anymore at Barca but I expect him to still be there, but it doesn't matter anymore. First Suarez wins the title with Atletico and now Messi his first major title other than Olympics, so I feel like the universe has been kind to my two heroes. I can rest easy now.

Ballon again though? Not sure.

Hopefully Messi is going to win the Ballon again. Has performed exceptionally well throughout Copa America. He has scored 4 goals and 5 assists. If Harry Kane performs outstandingly in today's match and England becomes Euro champions, Kane has a chance to win the Ballon d'Or.

My dream of course, if he wins it and wins every honor there is to win from now on until he retires. But even objectively I'm not sure I can say he would deserve it this season, but it is interesting to note he was involved in every single goal in Copa except the final, so he basically really did was responsible for getting Argentina to the final, but they won that one with a new fresh team and without needing his involvement.
