As for that user you refer to, he sent multiple PMs asking for the tags to be removed. He literally begged FatFork and myself to have the tags removed by claiming he made a mistake. I sent him hope by saying he should focus on being a good contributor in this forum to show he was a reformed character but as soon as the 1xbit signature campaign opened up again, he re-applied to join. That account is probably controlled by a puppeteer that has farmed many accounts for signature campaign purposes. Here is what I already suggested to him but he decided to ignore it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5347222.msg59670365#msg59670365There is no need to waste time discussing such members. People like him are pond scum of this forum. Only two days after begging for forgiveness and vowing never to make such a mistake again, he re-applied for the 1xbit scam campaign. But that's not really surprising given his history of cheating with alt accounts and spamming the forum.

I am not sure if any of those will take the chance if the community agrees to remove those tags.
It will depend on the individuals. If I was tagging the users then I would give them enough chances to prove that they realized their mistake and then I would consider changing it to a neutral. There would be members who won't give them a 2nd chance at all.

Hi, JollyGood! What if a 1xbit promoter comes to this thread and apologizes for what he/she has done in the past. Do you believe the community should forgive them? I am not sure if any of those will take the chance if the community agrees to remove those tags. But, I am a bit curious about communities' thoughts about this matter. I didn't bother to create a thread. I guess I can ask the question here.
I have removed feedback from a few individuals who received no payment from the scam casino, but the time frame for wearing a signature was usually just a few days or not more than a week. Almost all the accounts currently advertising the casino know that it's scam. I won't give anyone any second chance.

I guess that's fair enough. I am asking this question because, When I ranked up to Full member rank, I was looking for the signature campaign and most of the campaign was looking for higher rank members. Some of the other campaigns were full. So, I was also interested in the 1xbit Campaign. But, Before I post my application, I notice everyone participating in this campaign had a negative red tag. I was curious about it, What the heck is happening with them? I dug a bit and read a few feedback from DT members. For a newbie, It's not easy to understand if they are scammers. Especially if they don't visit the Scam accusations subboard or 1xbit ANN thread. I was not aware of them because I didn't know if they are known, scammers. Maybe I have seen one or two scam accusations at that time. I thought it was a normal thing because reputed casinos also have a few scam accusations. But, When I visited their ANN, I was just curious why the forum didn't ban them yet? Back then, I didn't know that scam is not moderated here. So, if I were a DT. I would give them chance to correct their mistakes. But, As you said, If they know that they promoting scams, They don't deserve a second chance.

Can somebody tell me why the forum accepts that there is signature advertisement for a clear scamming service? Why is there all this effort in tagging people etc. if you could just remove the whole campaign?

The forum (and it's operators) DO NOT REGULATE SCAMS. We, the users do. That is the entire point of the trust / feedback / merit system. Act like a scammer get a tag. Don't and you will be fine. -Dave

Next they pay people to silence the normal users by giving large amounts of negative feedback and in the end no normal user can see without research how is the real scammer.

as @DafeF already said, the forum doesn't regulate scammers. and I believe that people who feel cheated by the scammer platform 1xbit are not forum members. 1xbit creates ads on multiple platforms. and people who are going to put their money in should do some research before using a new platform they don't know about. I'm sure almost 90% of the users of this forum are aware of the 1xbit scam. even those who receive payment from promoting 1xbit signature campaign know it too.

edit: No. He is aware of this company. 1xbit has a really bad reputation right now. I think they should bear a great responsibility for that. They have come back to the forum, but do not resolve situations. I don't believe in new management at all. If they had good intentions at all, they should at least start paying people.
Who is aware of such activity and who can't believe the management but promote that is promoting scam and the user is undoubtedly is a part of scam. And I want to say for this case not only a part of scam but s/he is directly scamming by promoting scam knowingly.

It does work if a new user does their own research, like we always advise everyone. Imagine you are looking for a casino to use, then come across a 1xbit thread via Google search. You will see negative feedback and red flags on top of the ANN threads That on top of a lot of scam accusations and negative reviews should be enough to deter a wise person from using the casino. Next they pay people to silence the normal users by giving large amounts of negative feedback and in the end no normal user can see without research how is the real scammer. Where will they buy the negative feedback from? Members are usually very keen on shady or corrupt DT members, who can be distrusted in no time.

As of now, all 1xbit scammers signature campaign applicants will not receive a negative tag by default when their application is seen.
Instead, they will be sent a PM requesting they withdraw their application. A link will be added in the PM to this thread so they understand why they face receiving negative feedbacks if they display the signature or avatar.
If new participants display the 1xbit scammers signature or avatar 48 hours after they have been sent a PM requesting them to refrain from participating, then they face receiving negative feedback.

That's a good start. How about all the past applicants who never wore the signature, but whom you've already tagged? Do you plan on removing those tags? That would be the right thing to do, in my opinion.

You've finally started to think logically. It's a pity it's so late. Maybe there is a rescue for you to understand that most of the complaints appearing as spam in the 1xbit thread are simply cheaters who have been caught by the 1xbit security team.

I had to un-ignore you to read what brought you here to this thread. I do not share your views that most of the complaints or allegations are by those that try to scam 1xbit and have been caught. It seems by far that the 1xbit scammers are using Terms and Conditions are a weapon and excuse to selective scam whether it is 1xbit, kawbet, 1xbet or any other of their fake gaming websites. As for logic, such was the danger that potential victims were in danger of having their funds stolen I decided to tag campaign applicants. They will probably still get tagged after 48 hours but I only decided to take that course of action because I did the same thing when the Yobit scammers were running riot in the forum with their x10 Banner promotions. During that time I requested they remove their banners within 48 hours and to some degree it worked because some forum members removed the banners and at some point Yobit shut down their signature campaign though I will not imply I take credit for that: YOBIT SCAM: x10 Banner Promoters Will Be Tagged For Promoting a Ponzi Scheme You've finally started to think logically. It's a pity it's so late.
Maybe there is a rescue for you to understand that most of the complaints appearing as spam in the 1xbit thread are simply cheaters who have been caught by the 1xbit security team.

Thank you very much for the support, I appreciate it and it is nice to get acquainted with you If you intend to tag associated accounts for promoting the 1xbit scammers you might find opposition from some members therefore please keep that in mind. Funny thing is, I'm not a participant in the 1xBit signature campaign but still tagged.
@JollyGood, if you are the most correct person you should at least check first if you want to tag a casual user like me. You can check all campaign Spreadsheets created by 1xBit, am I a participant of them? If my name is in one of their campaign Spreadsheets then you can tag me properly as it was purely my fault.
It is not justified for user like you to give red tag without real evidence, this is like you are abusing your position.
I did have time to sign up for their campaign, but I didn't even wear their attributes and I wasn't even accepted. So why are you tagging me, do you have a personal problem with me?
Thanks default user, you are free to do what you like.

JollyGood is so jealous that I earn more than him from signature campaign that if he could, he would give negative trust to everyone who even thinks about applying to 1xbit signature campaign.

Does this mean that if you had been accepted, you would have gone ahead to advertise the scam too? How different are your moral principles from all those who are already advertising it?

JollyGood is so jealous that I earn more than him from signature campaign that if he could, JollyGood has no reason whatsoever to be jealous of you because of your earnings through this scam campaign because he was among the user of this forum that didn't participate in signature for some months before he decided to join the signature paying campaign. If he could do that before now there's no reason for someone like JollyGood to be jealous of you and for the record, he is one of the users thats no room for scams, spam, and everything that has to do with illegality. he would give negative trust to everyone who even thinks about applying to 1xbit signature campaign. Thats not true. Some users applied for the campaign but later revoke the application some minutes later, and their account was not giving negative trust.
