It looks strange and perhaps for some look justifiable but the reality is that it comes out cheaper for governments to do this type of incentives that having sick patients is much more expensive. Above all in countries where public health or primary care is free.

In several countries, matrices have been created not to be vaccinated by long-term effects consequences, but regardless of this people should be vaccinated because they wish and is the best not for an incentive.

It's a pretty cool idea actually. I mean theoretically, if 1million people are given a lottery ticket after they take the vaccine, and let's say the lottery prize is $10k for 100 people then it cost the government around $1M while the cost of enabling vaccine is only $1/person, which if offered directly wouldn't have attracted so many participants, but because the prize is high and everyone wants to try their luck, it should work pretty nicely.

People should understand that lockdowns are not the solution for this virus and the only feasible solution is getting vaccinated and living the life as they used to before the pandemic came out. I am glad someone would win money by getting vaccinated, I thought it would cost people but some people will make money doing it haha .

Well if every citizen has the right to choose, then the government, as the leading organization responsible for managing the safety of public places, should also be allowed to uphold laws that limit the movement of those people who weren't vaccinated right? Idk why, it's just simple common sense tbh. It's not like the Coronavirus is a myth, being vaccinated to combat it seems like the natural course imo. Ofc, granted that supply is not really enough for the demand, there would naturally be some that wouldn't be vaccinated, but any problems that can be solved with time doesn't really seem to be a problem imo.

Depends on what kind of government does have a certain country because if you do live on a country which is a communist one then as a citizen you wont really be having any choice but to follow if you dont like
to experience any problems afterwards but luckily if you do live on a country which is a democratic one then you do really have the choice neither you would take a shot or not.

Usually when an action is triggered by a government we suspect that there's a kind of conspiration behind it. For sure we have the right and the duty of the doubt, but according to the virus behavior, if "attractive" measures are not taken to avoid drastic ones, this pandemic situation will never stop.

That's right and it is a shame that people are being given lucrative offers to get vaccinated. I mean it's a responsibility of an individual to get vaccinated and although I admire the attempt from the government to vaccinate people by offering them lottery entry, I don't think such actions help a lot. I think that's the majority of reason why they don't want the covid shot. The side effects it may do to their body. As everyone is different, you have no idea when this side effect will occur to you. Maybe if the vaccine is already established in terms of research and trials, some people will get it. However, right now, the thought of side effects is the main concern of many. You can't blame other people about such decision, because it is your own body at risk here. Maybe, for healthy and young body, there's no problem getting the shot. However, for those people with comorbidities, that's when they are getting afraid of the shot.

I think it's just recently when they released the idea of having a lottery. Others might change their views about the vaccine with these offers. But as I mentioned, the Ohio lottery seems not successful although we need official news or source about this.

Pfizer is one of the top vaccine brand with good efficiency rate in the world.

Poland is lucky if that's their vaccine supply and at the same time, a chance to win at a lottery.

Here in our country, it was mostly Sinovac and Astrazeneca and doesn't have any lottery reward opportunity for vaccinated person. But we have regular discounts at some stores, shops and less restrictions for requirements if we plan to make a vacation.

This is the same as the vaccination rule that we've seen in the US in that some of their states were offering lottery tickets with a huge prize for whoever will win the lottery tickets that they will provide. It only ends up to one thing why they're giving this attractive offer and that is to increase the vaccination in their countries, states, or places to get immunity from the vaccine.
