OG had their chance to close it out in overtime, but Spirit held on to close things out in OT2. With Hally back in the coaching role, others are starting to think Spirit could be back to their shitty form. Don't know how Falcons could make such a slip like that against 100T who lost their match today in another tournament.
I already expected them to regress after that major win, but exiting this early in the qualifier isn't normal. Maybe it's the top teams still trying to shake it off after the break, but at the same time, it's always going to be tough coming back when the tier 2 teams are always in shape by playing smaller tournaments.

There are still some series left in the EPL masters, and these are the teams that might be the next tier 1's. I used to see L1ga on these tournaments and fortunately, they're now participating the international 2026 as huligani. Well, for some reasons it's because of Valve's ban to gambling related sponsorship on the team names so they have to change like 1win too as 1w. I really don't want to be that guy, but i really don't believe any of these teams/players are gonna be the next tier1's. With the exception of Spirit Academy, i've known all these players for 5 years or more. Some are infamous matchfixers, like mister Nande, Parker(un-retired a month after announcing retirement), mellojul and Mikey. The rest are straight up trash. I like nesfeer, shigetsu, Rain amd Batyuk tho. I think that Yellow Submarine team has alot of potential. It's the only team i have high hopes for. Maybe they can become tier1 players. On another news, new PlayTime players were announced. Abed and Jabz will be replacing Darkmago and Frank on the team. Wits Abed Jabz Scofield Elmisho Terrible choices to be honest. Jabz is so washed up it's embarassing. He was incredibly bad at EWC. Abed is almost as washed as Jabz. One of the biggest chokers this game's ever seen. With Abed joining PlayTime, what happened to Virtus Pro? Disbanding or just replacing Abed? Guess we have to wait.

There goes yuragi as well but they're about to get eliminated by tomorrow I think against Team Spirit Academy. On another news, new PlayTime players were announced. Abed and Jabz will be replacing Darkmago and Frank on the team.

I was about to post this but you're first. I think that there's a better offer for Abed and it's a fresh set of teammates. VP was trash to be honest and bulba keeps on picking the same heroes for abed, maybe that's one reason for him to leave or his contract has expired already and that's why he's free to play for another team since TI qualifier is done.

The upsets keep on rolling, as yesterday Vitality got 2-0'd by a refreshed Liquid squad. That'll put Spirit as the new tournament favorites now that both Falcons and Vitality are out. It could also just be them standing-in for the event since there's a small note under PlayTime for the Games of the Future tournament page. The org probably doesn't want to miss out on that bag, since it's one of the rare $1m events that's mostly filled with tier two teams.

FURIA lost to DENDELE and became yet another favorite team to be eliminated from the BLAST Bounty tournament. Both teams won their respective picks 13-6, forcing the match into a decider map. Although the decider map was Cache—which had just been added to the pool—the match was incredibly close. In overtime, DENDELE managed to defeat their opponent and knock them out of the tournament. We can say that maxxkor put on a clearly outstanding performance for DENDELE. On FURIA’s side, despite FalleN racking up as many kills as KSCERATO, he was unable to secure the win despite being the IGL.

But I think that there's a chance that after this games of the future and if they will have a good run. There's a big chance that this two will fill the slots. No more darkmago and frank. Man, I like frank and he's very versatile and strong offlane. Why did they fall for the 322. There's more to earn from their current status now in the global setting as they keep on qualifying to the good tournaments.

FURIA lost to DENDELE and became yet another favorite team to be eliminated from the BLAST Bounty tournament.
And then DENDELE lost to FaZe earlier, making them the first team to qualify for the LAN finals. Unreal to see this many tier one teams eliminated from the qualifier, and it's not even a bo1 format. I have missed that note. But I think that there's a chance that after this games of the future and if they will have a good run. There's a big chance that this two will fill the slots. No more darkmago and frank. I hope not because there aren't many top teams there to really test the potential of their squad. If their contract has expired, then maybe it's not bad to try something new, but I just think they'll hit the same ceiling with this team or maybe worse if they run into synergy problems.

Playtime didn't handle it correctly with Frank, kicking him alongside the matchfixers. It's easy to give the impression that he did it too. He will probably join an international team, since South American scene is completely cooked. Everyone knows it. Any player who wants to take this game seriously needs to leave that region, if they can't be on the best 2 teams.

Seen them lose the other day and wasn't surprised with so many of the favorites losing after going down a map. Watched abit of the G2 vs Liquid match and it was great to see them making lead way in this Blast tournament. Currently FUT is taking on 3dmax and are down a map but they can make another miraculous run to tie it up. In the later matchups we will see WildCard taking on the Mongolz and have 100 Thieves vs Team Spirit trying to do what they did to Team Falcons.

The match between HOTU and Aurora was a close one. Although Aurora had very little time to practice with its new roster and coach, we can still say that they put on a good performance. We mustn’t forget that while the team’s language was Turkish, they suddenly switched to English, and it’s fair to say there were some initial difficulties with certain communications. I believe that if Aurora can get through this adjustment period as quickly as possible, they have the potential to perform even better. By defeating HOTU, they earned the right to participate in the StarLadder StarSeries Fall main tournament. Jimpphat, XANTARES, and Wicadia were the team’s standout players.

Midas Club is back to Dota. This roster isn't bad. It's way better than the Nemesis one. I like Smiling Knight, he's a pretty good carry. 4nalog is a mediocre midlaner at best, but i think it can work in this team. I think MidOne is actually a better offlaner than mid player. He was really good in the offlane in his SMG days. Yamich is really good, this guy deserves a tier1 team. Lelis is alright i guess. I can see this team qualifying for stuff if they stick together, especially if they get an upgrade for the midlane. MOUZ roster for 1win tournament. Looking at this roster is like peeling 10 onions at the same time. What an atrocity. I like OneJey tho. Hopefully MOUZ stays in Dota for next season, but not this roster for the love of god.

I also think it's a decent roster that can qualify for tournaments, assuming they'll keep this squad for at least one season. I could see them getting the second qualifier spots from those bigger tournaments. MOUZ roster for 1win tournament. Looking at this roster is like peeling 10 onions at the same time. What an atrocity. I like OneJey tho. Hopefully MOUZ stays in Dota for next season, but not this roster for the love of god.
This roster went from bad to worse. Maybe their options for replacement are limited, but I think they're better off getting an orgless squad than changing a few players.

And this matchup is already shaping up to be a classic because the DENDELE team has a team in the Kings League Brazil, just like Fúria. And there, they are already major rivals and have played several classic matches. And it's basically DENDELE's first game, and they're already starting by beating Fúria, the runner-up of a major tournament. That's devastating.

so PlayTime actually changed 2 players but how can anyone trust pro dota scene right now ? besides 3-4 teams who are completely legit ,all the others are playing for 322 schemes and rigged games. Hopefully Valve will realize this as soon as possible and will introduce some controls for orgs and their betting accounts. And funny or not ...same goes for CS2 and any other esports game. We either make an example of DarkMago , Taiga , Solo322 and many others or things like this will continue to repeat and some we won't even know about them.

There is no matchfix in Dota's best 10/12 teams. The problem is the tier2 and lower scene. And this started being a problem the moment Valve pulled the plug on DPC. Back then, i only caught blatant matchfixing on 2nd divisions of SEA/China leagues. There was also the scandal of Knights/EHOME matchfixing on Lima Major. Most of these tier2 players, don't have an income. No salary, no tournaments to participate in because they can't qualify, and because they can't qualify, they can't get an org to pay them salaries. So they resort to matchfix, because the tier2 scene is basically playing qualifiers and failing, and playing EPL's and shady tournaments. If there was a proper conditions in place for tier2 teams/players to thrive, matchfix would definitly be reduced. Tier1 players have salaries of 10 to 25k in Dota. Tier 2 players have fuckall.
