if you want to invest well in bitcoin / others coins then buy as much as possible when the price dips.  it's always DWYOR.  An investor certainly doesn't want to think about things like indicators.  Investors are only people who have large capital and are looking for profits.  Becoming a trader is the right thing when the bitcoin price is stable.  if bitcoin is being dumped then you should do a limit order of -10% to -30% .  patiently waiting for it to be executed.  it's better that you don't get coins than you lose money.

For an investor, I don't think you need a stop loss, because it aims for the long term, until the coin records and forms a new ATH. it is different with trading, in my opinion stoploss is a tool that must be used because we will not allow floating minus to last long, especially for day traders.

btc can grow in price but we dont know when it will happen and it could not grow continously but downs can be experience sometimes .
this could hold back your gains as a holder but if your trading,  you can take advantage on this situation and you can fasten up your earnings but holding is never been a bad idea .

Exactly but the thing is, when you weigh the two, one tends to outshine the other, that's why I like the concept of holding but sometimes, it's very difficult to watch your balance get swing around by market value and you wouldn't be able to do anything.
Trading also has it own side effects, you will have the opportunity to get in a position, make your profit and move on regardless of how the market moves but one tend to loose when they pump without been in the market.
I think, holding abd trading should go together instead.

For me I would say basically since you say you are a day trader then you most be good at day trading this means you would be able to make most even if not all of the profits in-between the ups and downs of the day. However, if you are not very good at trading, then you might consider HODLing for a while. Both methods are actually ok to me but it actually depends on what is convenient for you, I don't day trade as much but will take a trade if I feel the market is right.

So i just think that it's such a great choice for investment. Meanwhile, you can find other altcoins that are more volatile and have high volume of transactions, i mean those that are easy to buy and sell. It'll be good for trading, since it's liquid. You can still trade and gain profits from your trading using those altcoins instead of bitcoin. If you can do both, why choose only one, right?

You are right, I have always said that the safest investment in the world is that of BTC, altcoins are much riskier, however many options and technologies such as Defi are emerging, under which many coins shine that have attracted a lot of community and investors.

I think that this BTC market the best option to buy alts is when the bullish trend has been confirmed, at that time it is safe to invest in altcoins, and when many call it the "Alts Season" since they can rise between 2x, 3x, 5x some up to 10x, at that time it is the safest option to invest and diversify money in crypto, of course there are other strategies, only this is the safest.

Bitcoin increase potential is a proven fact. It almost seems that, one can never lose or have his or her bitcoin value depreciate from hodling but that is dependent. Dependent on how well and how long you've been able to hodl. Some guys just sell with the slightest fall on market price and like that, you find them selling a completing depreciated bitcoin thereby, loosing most of its value.
Trading on the other hand is a completely different story. What trading requires most of all aside form funds to use for capital is experience. An experience that can only come from the time you've spent in trading or interacting with the market. This is your deal breaker from loses as, its a highly professional field.

It all depends on the individual, his character and skill. It is no secret that different people can have different results in different types of activities and cryptocurrencies are no exception about this. In theory, trading can bring much more income than investing, but trading requires much more involvement in the process and constant decision-making, and all this can take much more time than investing. Therefore, I would not recommend this type of activity to people with a weak nervous system and not quite confident in their abilities and with little experience. Fast money can require a lot of nerves, so once again think about whether you need this and whether it is worth it.
