In the past, if I played one or two games, I usually win but I always did continue to bet until all my gain and money will be lost.

I usually do my bankroll management, for example if I have $100 to play, then every profit I withdraw and if I lose all my bankroll then I stop for some time, besides that I don't bet constantly and in all games, I get go a long time without placing bets and it doesn't affect me negatively

Gambling is supposed to be for fun and entertainment while earning some bucks. But we all know some people have gone too far.
Anyway, I mostly gamble on sports betting, specifically basketball games. And yeah It's for fun and earning while betting to your favourite teams. Game analysis is also the fun part, because you don't want to lose your bet without analysing the match up and make your own research to make an edge against your fellow bettors.
I rarely bet on pure luck based gambling games as I don't find it enjoyable.

That's good, at least you know your real purpose and your capability. some gamblers are just ambitious, they want more than just fun and that is making constant money in gambling. I'm not saying it's bad because it's not bad to try if you feel you have the skills to make money, but most of those who tried had failed, so we have to be careful as the risk of losing more money is high.

For whatever reason that we gamble, it is not totally for fun because if it was for fun then it will be regarded as game. Game and gamble are not the same although they might have a symbol bringing them alike but not the same. That symbol is the channel which could either be any of the sports we play, like to watch or discuss or it is the casinos. Therefore, gambling involves playing with money with the aim of making additional money to the one we had while game is the fun type of it that involves no money. So friend if you have reduced your rate of playing gamble maybe as an addict to the usual player that plays during the weekend with few games and wins, it doesn't mean you have found a better way to play and win, no. You may have the times you will be losing too in times to come if you choose the wrong games to put your money on.

Yeah! Some people said that they are doing gambling for fun but its not fun right if you are losing ? So you are playing because you want make money from it and at the same time for fun. But we all know that gambling is pure luck and mostly the one who won is the casino but there are really a professional out of it which they make it for a living. As to us like a normal citizen we play for it just to try our luck and gain small money and feel the adrenaline rush in winning. Hey.... 99% of those people that says... I gamble for fun... are full of shit. All of us are gambling and hating it most of the time, because the majority are losing money. The thing is.... 99%+ of us are hoping that we are one of those that are winning BIG and that is where the FUN is... but very little people ever get that chance.

Back when I was still an active gambler 70% of my reason was for fun thrill and excitement that is why most of the gambling games that I play are exciting not the usual dice or hi and low games.
Of course there would always be a part of it that is aiming for the profit but there are times that when I deposit I would already acknowledge it as lose.

I have some ability to analyze and predict soccer matches such as EPL matches having been a keen follower of the league thus prompted me to gamble or bet on some sure matches which I did for fun and to earn some little bucks, of course it can't be for fun only monetary earning by winning some bettings is an added advantage although I only gambled with the amount of money I can afford to lose by placing a parley of two to four matches although the odds might be small, I spent  profits earned from those wins to pay for some bills and some little expenses in my home.

When it comes to addiction experience then majority of gamblers do really have the same situation when it comes to finance problem and family problems and its typical that majority
would really be realizing their mistakes when its already done.

Gambling is just really for fun but since we human beings are greedy then those things would normally change on being greedy.

I've also had a serious problem with gambling, luckily I never put fiat money into it, but I spent pretty much everything I earned in crypto on gambling... soeven though I haven't ben impoverished, I could be almost rich by now.

Today I play almosty every day, however I limit the value of my bets and play mostly only in sports games (mainly football.
I stopped playing dice, cards or others like that are addicted me in the past. I spend about 20% of what I earn on crypto, and reinvest everything I earn... because I play for fun, not profit.

I never tried to make bank with gambling since I know it is an extremely perilous endeavor. Advancing two steps forward will send you 5 steps back if you are careless enough to not call it a day and chase for more profits if you are already in the greens. The thrill and excitement is what I'm after, as I know that the chances of me getting the jackpot is lower when compared to me dying tomorrow out of some unimaginable circumstances.

Me not getting seriously into gambling means I'm not obliged to take in more of my personal money inside to get earn more. I'd rather place my money in a bank, or into a passive investment rather than forcefully earn something from gambling/dice/sportsbetting.

If you gamble with the sole intention of making money, the probability of you loosing money is higher because in a bid to win the money, you might get too calculative and make mistakes and then you bite yourself too hard when you loose. But if you have fun while you gamble, there is an ease that comes with it having less anxiety and a higher probability to win. Even though you loose, you don't bite yourself so hard because you know you had fun while at it.

As ironical as it may sound too, you might not become addicted if you gamble to make money because if after many consecutive loses, you might just come to terms with the idea or fact that gambling is not the way for you to make money, you might stop and just find something else to do, which is good in most cases. But if you gamble for fun, you find satisfaction in it and it doesn't concern you the amount you loose from gambling, in no time at all there is a very high probability that gambling will ruin your life as you will definitely become too addicted that you may not see or want to consider the damage that gambling may be doing to you.

First, you are lucky to get out of the gambling addict muggy in time cause it not something easy but I am an occasional gambler, I gamble when I know is right and I haven't gamble on any this month because I need more in flow and as an individual that understand the concept of the game, gambling is not for me at the moment but it sad that alot of gambler don't understand what is mean to gamble for fun after the lost their hard earning they will make excuse about the company using promo to entice them.

if having fun can make money why not? Well, basically I agree with the two options when combined in one game. Of course, winning when you bet makes you a lot of money, because your gambling is risking at least a few cents on a single bet. well when the victory has been obtained of course we will clearly feel the pleasure.

That's a good question! I try to think of my betting as purely for fun... For example, to watch a football match with friends, to cheer on some club... I have always seen gambling as nothing but a source of entertainment and the reason is simple I understood the concept of the house edge and I just accepted the casino had an advantage over me that will be impossible to overcome unless I played a game of skill and I was extremely good at it, and since that is not the case any dream that I may had about it died before I made my first bet, so I have always gambled for fun and this is the way it should be for all people.

For me it's both because you can't really avoid the idea of making money while gambling even though you're likely going to lose most of it in the end.

Usually it only becomes fun when i'm winning but I had a lot of good times with gambling overall through joining contests, promotions and some discussions with other users.

Do people gamble to make money? Gambling is only about having fun. If a person gambles to make money, then it is not called gambling, this is called working. Such person does not feel joy when playing. If they win, they dont feel happy, they just mark this victory as “earned” and move to next bet.
