Indeed. When you see coin price are cheap then it is the right time to buy and keep it. For me, if you want to invest in a long-term, it's better to put a higher percentage capital with bitcoin and Ethereum. These coins goes higher when those two main coins pump up. Also, there is like a grace period when a dump happens. Alts tend to drop instantly while BTC and ETH do it slower. If your going to invest in BTC and ETH before any other coins, then it means your in the right hands. It's a saver for everyone's portfolio when most alts are down.

I have a choice for long term investment, and my choice is definitely right. Bitcoin is the main coin in Cryptocurrency, and everyone believes BTC will have a very high price in the future without a doubt.
For long-term investment which means we will keep this coin for a long time, then choosing BTC is the right choice.

Since long ago this coin is good BTC, ETH, Litecoin, DOGE and if now can be added BNB, EOS, TRON. And now we can also buy tokens such as Shiba NU, NFT, and Stellar (lumen).

What you say is true, but I will make an exception for the two coins you mentioned, namely DOGE and SHIBA INU, because those two coins are meme coins whose prices are very easy to manipulate by big influencers in the world.

I agree DOGE will be difficult to grow and skyrocket again in the future, I think Shiba Inu has good potential so I invest in Shiba which is currently very cheap, I sure cheap tokens like Shiba are easier to increase 10x or even 100x compared to expensive coins.

The best time of investing is you should always 5 years ahead. If you bought some coins/tokens way back 2016 then that would be worth it by now, have the same mindset right now and get back on your investments on 2026. Not totally you should forgot it but you should check it regularly or DCA when it dips more. If you're into altcoin the best one would be from the top 20 on market cap, or best is stick to ETH as it has the second market cap value next to Bitcoin.

dont ever thinking we will gain huge profits only in a night. we will passed hard journey while holding our assets and even it make us really hard to decided sell or hold it. there are alot good project still in progress development and have potency to rise more than 2x in near future. for safe investment assets bnb and solana was good choice beside btc and ethereum.

It is very difficult to predict in cryptocurrencies. if we invest long term for me it is a disadvantage. every coin has a life of ups and downs on the exchange, it will not always go up and there must be times when the coin tends to go down

By definition a trader is not going to hold a position for the long term otherwise they will also considered to be an investor as well, traders at most can hold a trade for months and that is only true for those that are long term traders, for the majority of the traders holding their trades from a few minutes and hours to a few days is the most common scenario, and if you are choosing to trade new altcoins then that is the correct approach, however there are coins that are worth to hold for that long and bitcoin is without a doubt the best candidate to do this.

Staking for long term, that would be still a decision wise idea if you've got nothing to do with those and you just want to receive passive income and as well as some perks while it's there.

But that won't give assurance as you won't hold the keys. It's the counterpart of staking into an exchange even though it's the most popular one.

Amazing that you can specify the Amount to be invested at 5k dollars worth , how sure and confident you are that those coins will make a high margin of profit .
though Cake literally is one of the coin sits in my folio yet the other mentioned does not come to my senses till now or i should say never heard of them.

This is such a good question, I also wonder about what is the best coins to hold as a long term investment. For now I've already had ethereum, bnb, and also arpa. I believe these three coins are good to hold as a long term invest but for other coins I think I also need advice.

I will say ADA...! Right now it's only $2.11 but in 3-5 years who knows what one coin will be worth..or even end of the year probably around $8-$10.  Do the easy math for every 5 days whatever you get... In long term ( five year) i am looking ADA to 200$+

not because Cardano is making a pump now meaning this is one good coin to invest long term , yeah there are good thing happening now for ADA but at least consider other coins as well like Binance and Ethereum ..
also there is Ripple who looks like getting off the cases filed and will surely make a run once the US government end up losing the case.
