As of today, say for someone who is ready to invest $5000 for long term, what would be safe investing?

Should I go with BTC, ETH as these two seems to be solid,  however, the price these days went up so high or try to invest in other coins (like ADA, XRP, LUNA and etc.) that didn't went up yet?

And what would be best strategy, invest whole amount in one or two coins like BTC and ETH, or divide the 5000 into chunks and invest in many altcoins? In which case the gain will be higher?

What you did I think is correct we need to distinguish which coins to trade and coins to save in the long term,

You have to be careful, it could be a dead cat bounce.
