I really liked Fenerbahce's performance against Altay today. To be honest, I was expecting Fenerbahce to have difficulties against them as Altay got really nice results in the first two matches of the season. But the dream didn't last very long for them. Fenerbahce started playing much better as of the last match which was against Helsinki and ended 5-2. Valencia was awesome back then and he played really good in this match also. He scored one goal here again. It looks like he can be the top scorer of the team if he maintains his effort.

Since the beginning of the season in the Turkish League, I still like Fenerbahce the most. Besiktashi Galatasaray also started the season very well, but Galatasaray's play is not so confident, there are many mistakes. And Besiktas can keep Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor company in the fight for the title.

Teams can't win the title by winning only derbies and losing points on other games.

Well it is very hard to deny the fact that Turkish clubs lost a lot of momentum because of financial crisis that hit Turkey. But financial tightening enforced to clubs in last past years helped them to get their heads straight.
I would also agree Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş probably built their "best" squads ever in last 5 years or something. Watching both of them was really enjoyable for me this year. Galatasaray preferred to get some youngsters to rebuild their team which I also believe, worked.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of Turkish football all this time, because in my country there is no television station that broadcasts the Turkish league live, but even so I often see Turkish clubs competing against other teams in the European League and Champions League so far and In my opinion, Turkish football has progressed rapidly and of course it can't be separated from the role of big clubs such as Besiktas, Galatasaray, and also Trabzonspor who continue to bring in former players from Europe best club, as has been done by teams in the Chinese league before, I think with more and more former world's best players join the turkish league this will make the turkish league more competitive and so will be able to further improve the quality of the turkish players in the league and national team in future.

We can see Besiktas as an exception about it but I disagree on the things you said about the other teams. The players who Trabzonspor have signed, Gervinho and Hamsik didn't come here from big teams. Another example is that Balotelli who Adana Demirspor have brought came from the Serie B. In my opinion, the Turkish Super League was able to compete with the Ligue 1 ten years ago but it is sad to see the level it is at now.

Yeni Malatyaspor - Karagumruk game could already be the game of the week I think.    It was absolutely a great game to watch.
