I am sure that football is a bit in a cycle mode. First of all financial part is getting worse right now because finding tens of millions of euros to buy players is even harder right now for the clubs. Sure they are still making a good amount of money, but they are earning Liras and they are spending euros which makes things harder.

At the end of the day, if you could somehow manage to get good players and be in champions league and be in group stages at least, any team that can do that consistently and without making bad financial decisions, could end up being like Bayern or PSG and dominate the league.
