What hatred do people have for Bitcoin?

It only occurs to me that anti-Bitcoin people are people who know the past of bitcoin in its beginnings when people exchanged it for drugs and using that truth they have woven endless exaggerated arguments such as that bitcoin is being used by drug traffickers and criminals.

Using these alleged cases, anti-Bitcoin movements have been created in communities such as Reddit as you say with the sole purpose of misinforming the public.

Also the digital media have served as a platform for these people with power to follow and discredit bitcoin. As is stated in the following article:

People hate bitcoin because of their mistake decision. There's no one to blame except their self..lol
It's not surprising because even nowadays there's a lot of people still experience massive losses because of being greedy..wherein lack of knowledge and they still keep pushing and take all the risk to try their luck just to obtain massive profits but the results always not good.. Yes, some people hate bitcoin because they have experienced huge losses when investing in cryptocurrencies, you could say it happened purely because of their own fault because they were too hasty when they started investing without more knowledge and did not do any research at all when they got into it. So that makes them frustrated because they lost, and finally they decide to spread FUD so that other people hate bitcoin too.

Those type of people that incurred huge losses will always paint Bitcoin in a bad light some will even equate it with the moribund Ponzi scheme MMM when they got liquidated after investing blindly without a prior knowledge of it, we also have bankers who see Bitcoin as a threat to their existence because of its feature as a store of value thus hate Bitcoin with all their might and will do everything to discourage other people investing and hodling it,  despite all the backlash  Bitcoin has come to stay and despite all the hate speech and other derogatory remarks wouldn't have impact on it, more adoptions is on the rise consequently it price will continue to grow or increase.

It is in our very nature to hate what we do not understand. Bitcoin is a cutting edge technology that is not owned by anyone. This scares the government and banks, that fear is then passed through the media houses to the people hence the tension. There is a thin line between fear and hate and so to mask their fear they pour in hate... they call bitcoin a scam, an invention of Russian spies and so on. Others get their hate from bad investments in crypto, probably they were scammed or invested in fake ICOs and blame bitcoin for their ignorance

Maybe those people see bitcoin only related to gambling. There are many people in America who broke and end up live in the street and sleep in cold. I think this is very wrong and bad advertisement about bitcoin. Maybe some people hate bitcoin because of that. If someone buy bitcoin and do day trading in exchange site without have any knowledge, of course it is a gambling. Honestly I don't do trading every time, I just trade/exchange my cryptocurrency in certain time, even I believe that there is a period whithin bearish market which most of traders are experience financial loss. For now, I personally call it "draining time" or "suicide time" I think that is the time when whale or groups of trader trying to accumulate coin at very low Price but some novice trader still hope to gain profit and expect increasing price of bitcoin. Usually I avoid to do trading at that time. So in my point of view if someone invest in bitcoin/cryptocurrency like a gambling/speculation then the person will be broke, but if someone know what cryptocurrencies that the he/she buy and have good logical consideration then it is an investment, I am sure that that person will holding until get profit. I only invest in promising cryptocurrency like TRX, DASH and etc. Now the price of TRX is very cheap, it is a good time to buy because the company behind this coin has very big probability to get biggest market share in  game and app market, today we know that gamers community is very big, I think TRX can be the main currency for that.

They hate that other people are making money out of money because they passed up on the opportunity in the past back when it was still around a dollar, I think that there's no other reason as to why bitcoin is hated by these people, they simply just can't get over the fact that they're stupid.

it's not that all of the people how hate cryptocurrency has a negative experience with it. some(maybe more) people just ride the wave because they feel like it, they don't understand it, they hate it because it contradicts on what they believe in, have the firm Idea that bitcoin is nothing but a scam, or feel threatened by it, etc... if you ask me, there's really no point wasting your time thinking about why do they hate cryptocurrency.

dont have about that experience, never play and make a party, and what they see is just failure. hater will take it bad for every their hates. and when the truth come, many reason will spread from their mouth. they tell everything they know, which is just a bit from something big.

It depends what the "agenda" is....

A financial consultant or Broker with old school Fiat education will most probably "hate" Bitcoin, because he or she make their money from a system that put barrier to entry for the average Joe on the street. (They charge "fees" for handling other people's money and you have to produce certain documents to operate in this field)

Now, what happened now.... a new technology (currency/commodity) are introduced that are not regulated and people are given the "power" to handle their own trading..without a barrier to entry and without the requirement to have "superior" knowledge on the subject. (You simply register on an exchange and you start trading Crypto currencies)

These butt hurt sub-redits are full of Fiat financial advisors and brokers and people who missed the "early" days when Bitcoin was cheap or people who invested in scams (where Crypto currencies was used as a payment) and these people got burnt! (Now suddenly... Crypto currencies are evil or Ponzi schemes)

There can be a lot reasons as to why a lot of people are going to hate cryptocurrency. I have seen different people who has such hatred for cryptocurrency and they all have different reasons as to why they don’t like cryptocurrency. I have seen one person that told me she hates Bitcoin and when I asked her to know why she doesn’t like bitcoin, she said because it’s a Scam.

And when I asked her to explain in details what made her feel that Bitcoin is a scam, I happened to know that it’s a misunderstanding, she had invested her money in the wrong place, she didn’t invest direct in Bitcoin, rather she invested in some sort of bitcoin project that’s being run by scammers and she was scammed, so she started to think that Bitcoin is a scam and there has decided to stay completely away from Bitcoin.

The first one is,
Actually, you will never find any object in the world that some people have not stayed against that specific thing.


The second one is,
They didn't lose hugely but they are in fear. Just as Bitcoin has opened the door of opportunities, in the same way, it has created obstacles for some people who used to play with other's property. All of the people of the Banking sector are in fear about their non-existence, The government is worried about their money-printing corruption. They thought one day Bitcoin will take over their paper money.

And other groups are in FOMO. They weren't able to buy Bitcoin at a low price, so they are angry about this and trying hard to give stick to the back of the Bitcoiners.

This kind of reminds me of another friend of mine that does not purely hate Bitcoin, but just isn't educated on what is it really. I asked her once if she knew about Bitcoin and she was like "oh that one scam coin I hear a lot". I was like "bruh" moment there when I heard her first thoughts about it.

Thing is even those people you mentioned that have positive impacts to crypto do not even have a single idea to what the heck are they even saying. This is why most of the time, I stay away from Twitter and Reddit forum when it comes to discussing something pertaining Bitcoin or any sorts of crypto coins out there. There's a lot of toxicity outside this forum when it comes to crypto.

this hatred arises in people who do not understand bitcoin maybe it is because the.buzze-buzzers.who provide information that is not suitable for bitcoin, thus making public opinion feel unsure and feel insecure about bitcoin, if they immediately judge that bitcoin is very bad. bad in terms of investment, this opinion is very untrue as we know at this time that bitcoin is still fine only that it is affected by the issue of prices that tend to go up and down, and for investors that we have often experienced

Specially when you do see someone had flex out some big earning and they do believe that they can do it too and thats why they hurriedly engage and just into the market without proper knowledge or preparations.

In result? loss of funds or investment which would create that bad impression towards bitcoin without even realizing on whose the real that do commit out the mistake.

Sooner or later those hatred would become opposite on the time that they had able to realize specially on how this market works.

I think some of people in here right, there are many reason people hate BTC so much, like lose in investment, trading, scammed by maybe any scheme like Ponzi or HYIP so they only see bitcoin from the outside. When Bitcoin was born, there were only a few dollars. No one knows in advance that Bitcoin has reached such a high level. Therefore, these novices who have not entered the market will only be jealous of the cryptocurrency market because of their self-esteem, until now. This wasn't clear but I got your point, I see no reason why people hate what is really beneficial to everyone who per takes in it, this is clearly seen as ignorance, there overlook the importance of bitcoin and keep passing hatred on it, well I can just say this isn't wise at all, about the other people like Elon Musk! I think many of the haters were from those who might have lost a lot of their money from failed Bitcoin investments in the past. They might have organized themselves and used all social media platforms to further their agenda of destroying Bitcoin. I might also add that they might have some organized funding as well from certain elements in the financial industry that is also against cryptocurrencies. These are merely my speculations. Not really something I think is happening.

Many know the risk but they didn't really expect how deep the possibility to lose all what they have since many people coming to invest on crypto or bitcoin always think about profits and only few of new investors do a precautionary measures to minimize the risk. But its really not surprising to see those newbie mistakes on their investment since its normal, but they should learn some good lesson so that next time they can spot a good investment option so that they get a high chance to gain.
