What hatred do people have for Bitcoin?

A lot of people from my job hates crypto and just thinks it's a scam. But they never bought it and used it. They can't understand how "internet thing" can cost so much and most likely it's just the bubble or scam as they say. They just don't want to learn and ignoring it.

They have no idea about bitcoin so they have this idea not everything in crypto is a scam if you can choose the right currency by analyzing the market well, it will help you to get double profit there will be no chance of scam. Once they invest in a currency like bitcoin they will not hate bitcoin in the future maybe greed has lost everything after not learning anything so it feels like a scam.

if i understand people around me they hate bitcoin because they have been caught in big losses in bitcoin . Actually that's not a reason for them to hate bitcoin. They fail because of their own mistakes, can't manage finances and strategies that don't fit when they play bitcoin. So that their perception of losing something becomes bitcoin haters.

Until now, I haven't had any serious loss in bitcoin.  If anyone hates bitcoin it's the people who are late and trying to spread the word to destroy this space.  What did Bitcoin do to them?  only they take their keys and they don't even understand the origin of bitcoin.  they fail to sort out which bitcoins and other junks exist.  Don't believe fools and meaningless lies.

People don't adapt to change easily. They would want to stick to the old ways of banking, holding gold and interests. When new things arrive some people will be affected. In the case of Blockchain technology bankers feel threatened by this development that it would cost them their job in the future. However, they will personally enforce the teaching that Bitcoin is not worth it to their customers. Those customers could be staffs in different platforms that doesn't come close to finance, just like op that most people he met are not financial staffs. Although their knowledge could be from a friend but something is wrong with the points they provide to answers that make them believe that Bitcoin is Evil to their finance. Thus those points were generated from a financial adviser, so the bankers also share such messages to customers.

They hate bitcoin because they basically don't have a deeper understanding of bitcoin and the advantages it offers, which makes them have to lose some of their assets when they start investing in bitcoin, because they don't know when the right time to enter and exit the market is, and in the end they say bitcoin is a very bad investment as Warren Buffett always says.

Most of the time bitcoin haters were the newbies to the cryptocurrency market. Beginners just get into cryptocurrency trading or other form of investment believing it as a way to make profit. Fortunately this won't happen everytime, and when the market doesn't support the predictions what happens is loss. This time the user doens't have the mind to accept the mistake, but states that cryptocurrency market is wrong. This is how haters emerge in the market.

Totally agree, one of the reasons they hate it is because the flow of the market is not in line with their predictions. Also, due to being naive they tend to panic sell with little lost and when the time comes when the market is bullish they are outraged by it. By personal experience, one of my friends tell this to me and it really frustrates him and he focuses on alt coins instead of building himself again.

They don't just oppose Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies but they wish it would die. For example, Buttcoin is a reddit forum where Bitcoin is "crucified" daily. In that forum, Bitcoin has been called "a scam", "a negative sum game". Also, David Gerald who is an anti-crypto activist has publicly cleared his hatred for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. According to him, “I think the future of cryptocurrencies is that it will become increasingly regulated and normalised. People want regulation of this because they want to know where they stand and what they can do with this sort of thing. I think that speaking technically they are junk-quality assets. They are not backed by anything they are volatile as hell. They have a price because people will pay for them and that’s all.”

My Questions now are, Why do some people hate cryptocurrency so much? What's their back story? Did they ever lose a huge amount of money in cryptocurrency?

The concept of blockchain technology is not easy to understand especially for people who're not technologically inclined which results in misinformation and only focussing on the negative side of BTC or cryptocurrency. People like them will hate something they don't fully understand. Moreover, it's not regulated by the government which makes it illegal in their perspective.

People hate Bitcoin because they don't really understand it. They just see some negative news in the media news. They always look at new things with suspicion and fear the unknown.
Some people who hate Bitcoin may be newcomers to the crypto market. Their greed and market sentiment have caused economic losses when investing in Bitcoin. Their lack of experience and poor investment experience make them hostile to cryptocurrencies.

I've noticed more older people truly hate it than younger people and one more thing is most crypto people are so annoying and won't stfu on social media especially when he got profit and it will make people jealous with that.

They hate it because they think it is a get-rich-scheme quick and it didn’t get them rich quick. older people has no reason to hate bitcoin instead they just don't like to invest nor use this thats all but they don't really hate this.

I think that many who hate Bitcoin may have had a bad experience after investing in cryptocurrencies and losing all their money, the lack of experience of beginners in the crypto world is what makes them take a bad impression about investing in cryptocurrency or perhaps they thought that investing in cryptocurrencies achieves rapid wealth, and when they entered the market, they quickly exited without achieving this wealth, so they blamed Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and not themselves.

They don't know Bitcoin, they just know about Bitcoin through some news or introductions from friends. It is normal that they will not operate. Some people will use the lost money as tuition fees, and some people will launch the world of cryptocurrency because of the loss of money. This is their loss. They did not see the advantages of Bitcoin. Maybe they will regret it later.

Greed and envy are two factors why people have hate for Bitcoin. They envy that others managed to earn well or became rich. They wanted to achieve the same, but were greedy for time to spend on a research what they buy or to pay a professional to manage their finances.

I've seen people saying they dont Bitcoin because it is used for illegal deeds and that is partly true. But I'm sure that bigger part of illegal deeds are performed with the usage of fiat and cash.

Not all of them are ignorant about bitcoin. Actually, many of those people that hates bitcoin had their own time to research it and understood what bitcoin really is. But you're right that when someone is angry and hating a thing, it's one reason for it that he doesn't understand what it is.
But as I've said, there are those that understand bitcoin but still ignores the fact that they can't believe that bitcoin is a disruptor not just in technology with its blockchain but as well as both for fin-tech.

only old time investors that are not willing to learn about crypto hates bitcoin, because they only like to invest in stocks on wall street but as time goes by many business men invest on crypto more than they invest on old stocks and old time investors hate it because the profit from their investments on those old stocks will gradually go down affecting them drastically. but nonetheless all their hate and fud cannot stop bitcoin from going up because as time goes by the demand for bitcoin is going up as well.
