Yes, that's what I said to him. Not making sense to put money on Canelo Moneyline. The current betting odds (outside crypto) was Canelo Alvarez @ -900 and Caleb Plant @ +500. For others to give you a clear view, you need to bet $900 for Canelo to win $100 in return.

For 1.08, I find it too risky as well, but for those who really are risk-takers and see the 8% as a gift, I think they would put big money and take that easy money. For big bookies, I think they can handle big bets, so let's say someone bet $1 million for Canelo to win, and he would win, so that's $8,000 easily money there.

His recent fight definitely caused him some injuries so it could be a factor that Plant might win given that fight after another fight isn't really your best for someone as some injuries might last longer and can affect that fighter.

Yeah.. I checked a few of the sites and couldn't find the odds for round wise win. Anyway, odds for Caleb looks slightly better, when compared to what Caleb Truax had earlier this year. Back then, Canelo was placed at -4,000. This time he is at -800 to -900.

You have justified your statement, and yeah with a limited budget wouldn't give you much for a Canell win.
However the real risk is betting in favour of Caleb, which the chances for him to win against one of the top pound for pound boxer is slim to none.
I'm not underestimating Caleb, but Canelo is just a smarter and tougher fighter between this 2, thus that gives us a small odds which barely makes any except betting a huge amount.

Most likely this could happen to Caleb, he will either folded up because of the body shot, or might got hurt in the eye socket when Canelo time his uppercut or left hook. Both are in superb shape, but I have been following Canelo's training and it seems he is unbeatable at his stage. His body and his mind is in perfect condition.

Normally I avoid bets if the odds are below 1.15. Because upsets can happen in any sport at any time and I have lost money in such occasions previously. For his fight against Avni Yıldırım, Canelo had odds of 1.02 in most of the sportsbooks (some others had him at 1.025, and a few at 1.03). For me, it doesn't make any sense to take such a risk. You are risking 50 times the amount which you are going to win under the best scenario. If you are reporting your gambling gains in the IT return, then it would mean more paperwork as well.
