today Porto managed to snatch a win over Pacos de Ferreira which took the lead on 19th minute with goal from Nuno Santos. then two goals from Luis Diaz and Wendell helped Porto to secure the victory though Mehdi Taremi received late red card.

With this result Benfica put themselves in a position where if they lose in the next game they will lose the Portuguese league leadership and I doubt that they will regain that leadership if they lose. this has been the problem for Benfica, they manage to be consistent in the first games of the Portuguese league but then they start with inconsistencies, they start to have many draws and defeats and in the end they can't be champions

We have been witnessing a great competition between Benfica, Porto and Sporting so far in the league. This season seems like that it is going to be great. Because the last season was a little boring as Sporting dominated the season and Porto-Benfica duo had a big difficulty in keeping up with them. sunday's result from many leagues were very strange and many favourites lost to underdogs. may be Benfica was too exited about victory over Barcelona in Champions League and underestimated Portimonense.

First of all, FC Barcelona is no more a good club as it was always be before Lionel Messi left for PSG, Barcelona was always on the first 3 before, now they are at number 9 of the table. But it was yet a surprise for me to see Benfica won Barcelona in UCL but such club like Benfica should not be taking simple as they can win unexpectedly. Likely Benfica won the weak Barcelona might make their training to decrease after also winning many matches in their league leading to too much confidence but low training. I noticed Portimonense is not really good at home but it is not joking with away matches, and it was another surprise to see Portimonense won Benfica 1 goal to nothing, but Benfica is still leading the table by 1 point as of recent.

this week's games were good for the 3 favorite teams to win the Portuguese league although I see Benfica and Sporting have a lot of difficulties in winning

There is no surprise in ninth week games. Benfica, Porto and Sporting beat their opponents but all of them were kinda weak teams. I do not totally understand what you mean that the clubs that dominate the league do not win by big scores. This is what I have noticed about Portugal Primeira Liga, most of the clubs do not always win big, they always end with just same draw, no score or just 1 goal range difference between the winner and the loser. But this go to other clubs not like the three dominant clubs which are FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting CP (except Sporting CP this time). These two clubs (FC Porto and Benfica) score very well, you can check their mactes played just of recent and see how they score big with especially FC Porto and Benfica.

Quite disgraceful and sad thing happening in Portugal now. Belenenses is playing against Benfica and they're loosing 0:7 after first half. Because of Covid outbreak Belenenses have just 7 players and 2 goalkeepers. And these who are playing are from deep reserve or second team.
I'm not sure wasn't really possible to postpone this game. Or giving technical defeat 0:3 probably is better than such disgraceful game.
Seems that Belenenses players didn't agreed to enter pplay 2nd half.
EDIT They entered 2nd half with 7 players, another one got "injury" and referee ended game because it's not allowed to play with 6 players.
It's worse than watching fixed game.

Benfica's players could understand such situation with Belenenses team and score 2 or 3 goals but they began this humiliation. they have experienced coach who could tell to stop scoring after 3 goals.

Sorry, I will like to be clear about this, was the game ended or cancelled? I think this is truly worse than watching a fixed match. But people will not go for Belenenses on the normal ground, Benfica will be gone for, if the match was not cancelled and given to Benfica, bettors will like it as they won the bet. That also means it is not worse for many people as the match makes them won bet. On the other hand, fixed matches are like in a way the bettors will lose.

Edit: I have checked the match result and Portugal primeira league table, the match was not cancelled, Benfica won and had their 3 point.

I had a chance to enjoy the match of Benfica vs B-SAD. Benfica's amazing gameplay has fascinated me. They played very well. They scored 7 goals in 45 minutes. And in the full 45 minutes B-SAD can not create any chance to attack. If Benfica can maintain that performance in future matches, they will continue to fight for the title until the end of the season.

Yes it was a really great performance specially after getting a point from barcelona i guess that gave them a big boost and now they are only one point away from porto and sporting they have a solid squad with many stars like otamendi, vertonghen, joao mario and seferovic who scored 3 goals in the last two games he played in the league after a long injury.
