Next year, his time will be devoted to politics, so no time to train in boxing and if he wins, we know what to expect about his journey in boxing.

It's time for him to say goodbye, but not too early, lol... I have a feeling that even how popular he is in the Philippines, he would not win in the election and boxing fans would not allow that as they want him to continue fighting to bring glory to the country through boxing.

The question is, is he ready for Presidency position? We may like him inside the ring but being the top position in the government is no easy walk in the park. Maybe aim for lower position first like may be Vice Presidency?

But anyway, excited to watch this fight in few hours from now. I hope we will see the same power of Pacquiao inside the ring and crash all those doubts owed to his age.

Who knows that this man will become successful on both boxing career and politics, and since his age is getting bigger I guess politics was the right haven for him to focus after this fight. Let's all respect what fate he had, as long as for the benefit of all countrymen despite with promises during election.

I've seen in the news that Pacquiao hinted that this would be his last fight so he encourages anyone to watch it (maybe as part of the promotion too). On the other hand, Yordenis Ugas claimed that he will now put Pacquiao into retirement and make the upcoming match his last fight (we already used on hearing this).

Although honestly, I don't believe that this would be Pacquiao's last fight. He will be busy for the election until May next year so I think he still has 1 fight to pursue depends on the result of his election bid.

^ What if he cannot be able to win? Is he able to continue his boxing legacy even though his running presidential in his country?
This is unpredictable, at his age, he can able to fight in the ring and it could be there is no retirement if he will lose this fight but he will luckily win, possible he will declare a resign. In boxing history, only Manny Pacquiao had very successful in life, which means he was able to manage his future into a successful one, I cannot imagine him become a senator despite his being a professional boxer.
If he will not able to win and get back his belt, that was accepted and it means that he deserves to retire. And besides, he has a lot of things to do on his politics life, maybe it was the time to focus on it especially that he has a plan to run for President.
But I'm not in the doubts that Manny will win this fight,  we can see how prepared he was and that was the ticket of his winnings.

Maybe he’s expecting to win the election and of course if he won, he will not be able to fight again. This will be an exciting match, both are in good weights and ready to face each other. I can’t wait to see Manny fighting for the last time maybe. 1 day left in my timeline, let’s see if our bet is worth the wait.

He may have a good chin to withstand punches but it cannot stand once Manny find angles on their encounters, Manny is very good at finding angles and still has lightning speed punches, we'll see a lot of clinches coming from Ugas I don't think he can use his height as his advantages, Manny is so good at closing the distance that Ugas have to either clinch or get it on with Manny, I think there will be a lot of surprise in this fight.

Yes your right manny is veteran about finding open space to his opponent, even if ugas have long arm  he can defend his face/body from manny's  punches but not enough to defeat manny cause I said Earlier manny use his footwork to find open space and hit by solid puch.

No, he is not in fact in his province he is very generous and giving people money not only money but materials to build a house, he is one of the richest lawmakers in the Philippines he just wants to continue his legacy, he is like all the other boxers the mind surrenders when the body cannot keep up anymore, he still believes that he is still strong and he wants to amaze the boxing world.

Yes your right I am filipino too And I know that manny is helpful person especially to his neighbor not only shelter but also food manny provide them all.

Yes, I do agree that this will not be Manny's last fight, he still has unfinished business with Spence and then Crawford. So even if he win or lose, against Ugas he will go and continue to fight.

As for Ugas saying that he will put Manny into retirement, many have tried already, Thurman already said that and we all know the results, so I doubt that he can do that in this fight with Pacquiao.

With a replacement opponent, this fight is a lot easier than the Spence fight and he may not absorb too many punches here so I think he can still fight at the age of 43 and that would be next year but of course, that depends on the outcome of his presidential bid (if ever he decides to run for that position).

On the other hand, it would be awesome if he defends his WBA title (considering he wins this one) while he is the sitting president of the Philippines lol.

I totally missed the final presser hours ago, good thing it was in youtube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4bA2jOmLYU

Manny Pacquiao hasn't change a bit, still very respectful of his opponent, same with Ugas. Yordenis though a bit taller than Manny but i don't see any problem with that. He has face many tall opponents throughout his legendary career. In 2 days we will see the weigh-in, and it's interesting to look Manny body as it developed throughout in his 40's.

Sharing again the final weigh-in, both boxers making the weight limit of 147 lbs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fwK1nHsvbY

Do you guys think that Pacquiao has aged? it seems to me the same Pacquiao years ago, although I would say that the body is not that 'hard', but maybe of the effects of the light in the studio.

You can't be sure. As far as I know, Manny doesn't have any more fights in the pipeline for this year (and there is not enough time remaining to organize one). Next year, he will be busy with his election campaign, and I don't think that he will take the risk (if he loses the fight, then it can sink his presidential campaign). Manny wanted his last fight at Vegas, and this time he got one there. I have a feeling that this may be his last fight. I can't be sure, because there is still a possibility of him pulling out of the presidential race.

Of course Manny has change, no one can win against father time, he is already in his 40's and those abs are not the visible when he was hunger.

I'm reading a lot of analysis, they say that Ugas main weapon should be the body shot, so that Pacquiao will slow down in the middle of the rounds and that's where he should take advantage like what Thurman did, winning some rounds in the mid to late rounds but it was not enough.

Also they mentioned Ugas long reach, but Manny has adopted himself with taller fighters, so I don't think that it will not be an issue for him. We all know that Manny has speed and lateral movement that will negate that longer reach advantage of any boxer that he has face.

Lol he is already a Successful Senator of the Philippines so how come that he will not Win when he already does several time from Congressman to Senatorial position.
and also Filipino are not short minded people mate, they will vote because of His performance being politician and not because he is a Boxing legend.

Do you guys think that Pacquiao has aged? it seems to me the same Pacquiao years ago, although I would say that the body is not that 'hard', but maybe of the effects of the light in the studio.
Same, his face doesn't change even he's already 42 years old but still young like 30. His power, skills, stamina and speed doesn't change at all, he's proving a 42 years old can still become a professional boxer.

Manny Pacquiao has many advantages of his small body to move more quick, strong and very fast. He's very senior in boxing, with his experience he already know various boxing style of their opponent.

However I watch a video said Ugas left bicep injured, it's true or fake? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9Fxhu39LoU

But in their weigh-in, Ugas does not show any sign that his bicep is injured he can move that bicep with no issue at all although the other bicep appears to be larger than the other one, we'll see that when they finally meet in the ring tomorrow, both fighters appear to be ready, this is a career-defining for Ugas and Pacquiao adding more on his legacy by winning a title again, may the best man win, I just hope Ugas will not employ a Horn like tactics because he is the bigger one.

With a replacement opponent, this fight is a lot easier than the Spence fight and he may not absorb too many punches here so I think he can still fight at the age of 43 and that would be next year but of course, that depends on the outcome of his presidential bid (if ever he decides to run for that position).

For a follow-up, he said in his recent interview that if there's a chance to fight again after Ugas, he likes to take Spence Jr. or Terence Crawford. Based on how he constructs and delivered that statement, that maybe his last fight before hanging finally his gloves.

On the other hand, it would be awesome if he defends his WBA title (considering he wins this one) while he is the sitting president of the Philippines lol.

That would be history and LMAO on what the announcer will say introducing him before the match and if he won the match.

I think so if he will not going to win this fight he must probably accept his fate to retire to his passion. I mean not because if ever he would going to win in a presidential race in Philippines because if this happen he would probably focus on his new duty as a president but because he already have done enough in his boxing career. He was already a successful personality today and he should protect his health since he is not getting younger anymore. But I do believe also that the upcoming fight of Pacquiao vs. Ugas is exciting.

but Pacquiao's statement doesn't know if this will be the last fight, we see him fighting to fight and aside from Pacquiao's statement if he can still go on with one more match then he wants to face the best like Terence Crawford or Errol Spence.
I would rule it out he is running for president and although Pacquiao is not young anymore, he is a true boxer and anyone who challenges him will fight even if the opponent is taller and easier than him.
I won't miss Manny Pacquiao's match against Yordenis Ugas tomorrow morning and Pacquiao will definitely beat Ugas.

Watched it and yes, there's no hint of ageing yet. Bro, it's good to be fit. It just gave me the idea to do more exercise every day.  Grin I want to look that young even when I grow old.
Pacman is ready. His muscles are angry and even when he smiles, the muscles on his face are showing.  Grin
Kidding aside, I am glad to see Pacquiao will set foot on the ring again and who knows, this might be the last time we will see him stepping on that floor.
So, this should not be missed by every boxing fan especially Filipino supporters. Good luck to all your bets.

Manny Pacquiao doesn't seem aged but he do look mature. His skills and power may look like a 30 years old boxer but certainly his appearance look a bit matured and experienced.
