Ethereum is not a rival of Bitcoin

bitcoin is the number 1 strongest cryptocurrency in the market, Bitcoin is like digital gold that will always dominate the crypto market, then the popularity of Ethereum is also still far behind compared to the popularity of Bitcoin, I say that the king of coins is btc , ethereu is the parent of altcoins, even though ethreum is side by side with bitcoins.

For now the price of ethereum and bitcoin is very far in value although for now both coins are at the top of all coins, but you have to see the popularity of ethreum increasing and for the next few years we will see the price of ethereum will approach bitcoin and this will not be impossible because every year many coins are always increasing.

every year many coins are always increasing because of the supply or is it a new coin ? ethereum usage is indeed increasing but the exorbitant costs have cost ethereum to lose several mega projects who switch to another chain ! bitcoin will remain a role model for all altcoins because their are alternative coin

I don't think ETH needs to have the same price as BTC. While BTC is a store of value for many, ETH is very different. And its use is more universal. Websites, games, NFT and more.

Ethereum network being web 2.0 is having smart contacts on it which can make anything possible whereas bitcoin as you said is used just for storing a person's money and nothing else. I guess ethereum was never invented to compete with bitcoin, if bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies then ethereum is what bitcoin blockchain is missing and make the crypto world more robust. Cross chain transactions, smart tokens, wrapped tokens and many more being present on the ethereum chain make it superior to BTC but still it won't surpass the bitcoin price just because of the limited supply of bitcoin and ever increasing supply of ethers.

You are right, But I wanna add something. Not only Ethereum, I can't see any single coin which one is comparable to Bitcoin. We can't compare any altcoin to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a unique coin, And its value does not depend on any other coin. Rather the price of the whole altcoin increases or decreases depending on the Bitcoin. Bitcoin should be given the status of a standalone coin, while the global economic backbone is crumbling at the death touch of the covid, the boom in the Bitcoin market has given the motivation to foodless, workless people to survive, It is just unbeatable.

Cant deny that smart contracts is a big thing and does really have that big potential and come to think that all projects below bitcoin is trying out to be the best or lets say that they are really aiming for that

what you say is correct, especially at this time ethereum is still in trouble with high costs and many are looking for alternatives to avoid those costs. it is clear that many are enjoying this moment like BNB with its binance which is sought after for its low price.

From the market capitalization it is clear that bitcoin had reached a peak of up to $1B even though it is now below it, but the closest to bitcoin is only ethereum and the difference is almost half and it may be difficult to match or even replace.

I agree with you, that it has been said and indeed it is the reality that is happening today. bitcoin is still the backbone of crypto and is still highly sought after as a very attractive investment because of the advantages it has compared to other coins.

I think ethereum is still improving itself while the high costs are still attached to it, there is no other way if there are not many who are eyeing the position which at the moment is clearly very much and could happen with changes that continue to improve.
