Whether I set power limit to 85% or 100% doesn't seem to make a difference, in either case the GPU clocks go down over time. After a night my 3090 was at 930MHz. I restarted windows, reset MSI afterburner, and now it's slowly going down again. Power is also going down and MHs aren't too bad (110) but I'd like to understand what is causing this. Since overclocking is "+XMHz" there is no point in overclocking if the base clock goes down and down and down. Temperatures are good, in fact I had to close my window as the rig couldn't make enough heat to compensate the slight opening.
For the 3080Ti, autotune is happening, so basically it's not mining from my understanding, 3 shares done during the same time the 3090 did 39. I will read up on what it does, I'm guessing once it has run for some time I should take note of the value reached and add it to the script so it doesn't autotune again next time.

Your card is trottleing, and probobly because the temperature of your memory. Download gpuz and you can see the perfcap reason. Lower the tdp will avoid heat to be transfered to the memory and extend the lifeline of your card.

The LHR unlock doesn't work on high power, you need to reduce to f.ex 70%. The autotune in 1.54 has a bug, but a new 1.55 will be released soon.

The intensity setting is pool depended. We can case on the pool and apply optimized defaults. Then you typically will get a few MHASH more on some pools, and less on others, and the difference between reported hashrate and poolhashrate will decrease.

by casing I meen:

If crazypool use intensity 24
If flexpool use intensity 24
if 2miners use intensity 512

etc..

2miners, nanopool, f2pool and miningpoolhub can use --xintensity 500 without stales, and a few MHASH extra per card.

There are no rejected shares if you mine on the correct pool. This setting can give stale shares so it's not enabled by default any more.

Thanks, the memory is indeed hot. I need to burn in the cards a little as I will then watercool them as they're going into gaming/work/mining PCs so I want silence, and I want them to be cool. On the other hand I need to know they're solid before voiding the warranty.

I have been testing the new stratum implementation for flexpool and ethermine in v1.54++, and the stale share rate has decreased dramatically. Only 0.35% stales at the default --xintensity 284 (nvidia)

I've decided to start grabbing real-time metrics from the API and publish them to an analytical engine that I've developed to determine if any changes I'm making to my system are having a positive or negative effect on the hash rates as well as determining the various deviations for the expected hashrate versus the actual, and how the duration of mining affects the share rate (various time frames from average per minute share rate over the entire run (which is provided by the client), and share rate over 15, 30, 60, and 90 minute intervals, etc...).  However, the JSON that the API is creating isn't easily parsable, or it's using some other spec. that I'm not familiar with.

So, would it be possible to generate JSON that follows one of the following templates (one uses arrays, and the other uses the multi-nested object format that is currently being used (but with defined objects that can be parsed))?

Search for "has timed out" messages in the log. Looks like the gpu solver thread #0 has crashed, and not recovered. If the pool connection was broken, the program will restart automatically. Are you running with a high timeout value (-t). The default in 1.55 is to restart the miner after 2 minutes of inactivity.

I have reproduced similar behavior if I clock my cards too high and they trigger a driver error.

There's nothing in the logs that indicate anything is wrong.  The miner stops showing accepted jobs (but it has to continue to be accepting jobs for the Nvidia card(s) to continue mining). It just did it again but both Nvidia cards continued to mine without having any jobs appear in the client screen, so it seems to be an AMD issue.
I've been trying to under clock the AMD cards to get the power use down, so perhaps the cards are just failing but the miner isn't catching / throwing the error.  You can see that the miner is still "mining" on those cards at fixed rate, but the power usage has dropped to idle.  Timeout is default.

yeah, that's the problem here. Perhaps you undervolted too much.In 1.56 we have improved the error handling of failing gpus.

By no way i can use LHR unlock.

System:

- hiveOS with latest TBM 1.55 cuda 11.4

- 2 GPU 3060ti LHR with Hynix memory

- OC on both: 1350 CC / 2100 memory / pl 0

- In that rig they are 5 gpus working with TBM all nvidia, this two lhr gou are the 4 and 5

I used the --lhr-unlock [0,0,0,1,1]

Didn't catch any lhr unlock point and went to the 50th try of the miner and stayed reseting it

What am i missing from this tune ?
