The Premier League can be humbling. Pep Guardiola is having his fair share of struggles coaching a Premier League club and to be honest Pep has won everything and dominated English football for 4 years with Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is not leaving the club anytime soon, as long as he’s still there Manchester City will bounce back to winning ways.

Don't be surprised if he makes a sudden announcement and leaves, especially if Manchester City continue the bad form into next season. Guardiola is not the kind of guy who sticks around for too long if the team continues to perform badly. Poor performance stresses him so much.

The likes of KDB are leaving, which means he will have to either build most of the team from scratch or pressurize the owners to release more millions in order to buy more players. Will the Owners accept, or will Guardiola have to work with what he has been having? Time will tell.

It's never to surprising thing to seeing Crystal palace winning the FA Cup against Manchester City though most persons predicted Manchester City to win the trophy but unfortunately it didn't work as predicted that's why football seems unpredictable until full time FT.

I will also give respect to the manager and the rest of the team. They all did well.

What most people thought would be the result was Manchester City lifting the trophy, shockingly the underrated team became the best team of the night. Yeah, after Manchester city had their way with a 4-2vl victory against Crystal palace in the premiership, the coach of Crystal palace had to make sure such mistake doesn't repeat itself when they meet again at the FA Cup finals. And it's apparent he kept his promise to Gardiola as seen in the image above where he had to reveal that.

I didn't know that Crystal Palace's head coach said this to Pep Guardiola after Manchester City defeated Crystal Palace in the Premier League. Crystal Palace's head coach will surely be proud of himself because he was able to solve the system and kept his word as he said to Pep Guardiola. Since the Crystal Palace coach stopped Pep Guardiola from using the system, it shows that he has known the weakness of Pep Guardiola. If Pep Guardiola is not careful next season, he may not beat Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Me neither. Crystal Palace played a defensive game. They had two players marking City players whenever they had the ball. They let Manchester city attack and when the attack failed, Crystal Palace immediately hits them with a counter attack. When you look at the stats, Crystal Palace had the least ball possession and shots but they took advantage of their chances and won the game.

One thing about games like this is that it's not about your past record, if you can't take advantage of the moment and give it all in a crucial finals as this, your fate is going to be like that of every other big teams that threw away Thier opportunities because they underrated their opponents. That is the thing, on a 90 minute "winner takes all" type of situation then it should not be really a big deal at all. If we can't make this work then we can't see how this could change and we need to consider how this could be normal and be normal.



I believe we are going to see how this could be a tough deal all of them, and City type of teams thinks that they are just simply better and that has to be the toughest thing to overcome within a game itself. Congratulations to Crystal Palace and as a neutral in this game I believe this is a Happ ending. This season already we have seen Newcastle, Harry Kane, bologna win a title so since it is a season for first timers then it is right Crystal Palace won.
To bad city could not at least salvage their season but right now the should focus their attention now on the remaining English premier League matches and ensure they win both of them.

I had a feeling that the game last night will go the way of Crystal Palace seeing how well they performed on their way to the final. It was clear to see how much determination they had in the tournament and knowing Manchester City were mikes away from their top performance level I thought they will lose and it happened that way. In as much as the VAR was overlooked by the on-field referee, his decision is final. Keith Hacket a former referee Chief also mentioned that a foul or at least a yellow card should be awarded, he said; but at the time the VAR was reviewed, no further action was the correct call. And we all know that Henderson kept the game alive for palace, so it's his luck that the referee didn't send him off the pitch and also his contribution to the game counted positively. Nothing could be done about it, sadly.

Real Madrid are in the same position with them of not winning a trophy this season. But Real Madrid are in a different position. Madrid lost in the Copa Del Rey final but their opponent was Barcelona. But City lost in the FA Cup final and their opponent was Crystal Palace. I am not underestimating Crystal Palace. They really deserve to be champions. But the point here is that City had a worse season than Real Madrid. And for Crystal Palace I really didn't expect them to do a miracle. I'm sure not many people favor Crystal Palace in this match. I also think that even though they had a bad season but at least City can get one trophy from the FA Cup. City dominated the match but Crystal Palace played very solidly in defense. What made me respect it even more is Palace scored a goal in the 16th minute and they were able to maintain their lead until the end of the match. Because usually the underdog team will defend and score in the last minute of the match.

Honestly, City didn't deserve this FA cup, because where was the midfield?? Without Rodri, De Bruyne had to play from the deep, and he played poorly, but where was Rodri's so-called replacement, Nico?

Haaland could have just blasted in at the goal and try his luck, rather than passing it back, city needs to stop making many passes inside the penalty box, look how other teams play -- they are not afraid to shoot even outside the box... only if they had someone like Valverde in defence, both ruben dias and akanji quite got in a great shooting positions but decides to pass the ball sideways, City needs a reformation in my opinion, but I believe Pep can turn things around next season with fresh signings, and play style. Sometimes I used to wonder why most people normally blem referees about their decisions. As long as football is concerned we should always understand that VAR and the referees have the final say. But still most of us keep on blaming them everytime, due to the fact that their team is losing. However, just like as you mentioned that is the real truth about it because sometimes we normally see it in the screen as a foul ball, but in the pitch the referee doesn't see it that way. However, I think we should always accept any decisions of the referees because once they decide there is nothing you can do about it, than causing more harm to yourself.

Crystal Palace made history with that match, their first major trophy in their existence and the fact that they lifted that trophy over a club as prominent as Manchester city is twice as shaming. Manchester city lost their only chance not to go trophyless this season in the hands of Crystal Palace, who could've imagined it is possible. I watched that match in great disappointment, yet happy that Crystal Palace broke their deadlock.

Manchester city should better update or upgrade their squad for next season, the decline in performance seen this season is clearly unacceptable.

I had a feeling that Crystal Palace will finish victorious in this game I even told a friend that Palace will win and he said it was impossible because City have had a bad season and will want to finish it with winning the FA cup but the reverse was the case as Crystal Palace were able to secure their one goal lead until ninety minutes. Congratulations to Crystal Palace but I must say, they’ve really shown a great sense of defence in this game before they finally clinch the title winner at the end of the match. Defending the goal from the 18th minutes till the end of the match was a very great work from them which shows how deserving they are of the FA cup trophy. Manchester City team didn’t really had a great season this time around and that has caused them to miss out on many chances this season. Until now, we can’t say of their qualifications to the champions league because of the outstanding and unfinished games left for them. Also, their performance doesn’t make one to be confidence of them to win and qualify for the UCL next season.

Hardly anyone understands why City have such big problems and why they can't get up again? At the moment the place for the CL positions in the PL is also shaky and if they don't manage to qualify for the CL it would be a disaster for next year, because then they can't even recover from this bad season.

Sometimes big clubs need a little break (like Real Madrid this year) but they should at least qualify for the CL, otherwise next season will be a disappointment for the fans.

Two straight FA cup losses for Pep Guardiola and his men which is seriously a thing of concern for them as this was their only shot at Silverware this season, Now Manchester city will end the season trophyless if I am not mistaken the second time under Pep Guardiola. Many people are already blaming it on tactics and the rest but I simply blame it on the squad depth. In the past seasons that Manchester City actually won almost everything they had second team that was capable of winning the league but right now let’s be sincere do we see same team again? I would say, so there is currently a squad overhaul at Manchester city and this things doesn’t just get better at once it takes time and some more signings so for me I think Manchester City although had done by this defeat should take it as a wake up call.

As for Crystal Palace I am much happy they won it just like Newcastle this is their second final in less than ten years in this competition so personally for me it opens door for more lower teams to dream that they can win domestic trophies too. Fans are calling for cheating against Manchester city I will say the referee missed the call and Pope should have been off but sincerely how many controversial decisions have Manchester City to benefit from over the years

The challenge for Pep would be to find new players to replicate the performance of the elite players that he had, with whom he won a lot of competitions. It has to be a wake up call for FA in managing their competition. They can't really keep garbage system to keen running on their competition.
