Honestly speaking, without seeing the match, you will feel it is a fluke but Southampton are really showing what it means to be in form, Arsenal keeps playing this stupid style of play with no creativity. Southampton are clearly the stronger team this first half and maybe Arsenal will turn it around the second half.

Arsenal has been knocked out of the FA cup after they suffered a 2:1 defeat against Southampton in the quarter finals. Right from the first half when Arsenal conceded and they never really showed much pressure just like they did against Manchester City in the Carabao cup finals. With how Arsenal has been performing lately, i doubt if they can reach the Champions League finals, they might end in the semis just as they did last season because with this performance am seeing now, they can't win the Champions League. If they can't win teams in England, is it teams outside England that they would be able to win? Arsenal is a great disappointment, they are so annoying to watch sometimes despite that they have made a remarkable performance this season but they still need a lot of work to do in order for them to meet the criteria of a world class team.

The hype over Arsenal was just too much, I’m glad everyone is gradually realizing that Arsenal is a mess and full of shit. A team that its fan base were shouting they were going to win the quadruple has started realizing that even one trophy isn’t guaranteed at the moment. Arsenal never gets the job done, there is always excuses at the end of the day. How I wished this loss was a premier league match. I think the EPL is still theirs even with all of these happening while the Champions League is still very much uncertain but if they bottle both then Arteta job might really be in danger since nearly consecutively doesn't give a trophy.

Mikel Arteta and his team have been eliminated from the FA Cup after Southampton buckled up and humble gunners. It shocked everyone to see Arsenal been knocked out by Southampton that's in the Championship. This is purely humiliating and I believe Arsenal will bounce back to winning ways in the UEFEA Champions League. They will now focus on the EPL and the UEFEA Champions League title and which they will only end up winning only EPL because the UEFEA Champions League title is mainly for champs.

Southampton are performing well. Their performance surprised me a lot. Southampton took the lead in the 35th minute of the match thanks to Ross Stewart's goal. They  were able to make some strong attacks. And the most important  thing  is that they were able to resist Arsenal's attacks in the first half. Arsenal tried a lot to score in the first half. But they could not  score any goals.

The second half was also quite enjoyable. Arsenal  were desperate to score. Gyokeres scored from Havertz's pass in the 68th minute. The match was tied at 1-1 after  80 minutes. Arsenal  players still tried to score.

I think this will show why football is the best sport in the world, the unpredictable always happen and will continue happening, Southampton has shocked one more time but in a more thougher way this time around, first of all beating Fulham in the knockout stage off the competition and now removing Arsenal from the competition, who are most likely to win their domestiic league this season.  

If Southampton can keep up with this performance, they can also knock out their remaining opponents in this competition, so kudos to them one more time.

Arsenal does not deserve my support anymore. I am not an Arsenal fan, but I supported them to win alot of trophies this season to augment for their shortcomings for these many years.

I was very mad at them when they lost the EFL cup to Manchester city. But at a time I calmed down because Manchester City is not a small team and Guardiola is also looking for trophies to retire with

But with this FA cup crash out by Southampton, I have no option than to hate Arteta.

Mark my words, the only title they can win is EPL. Arsenal cannot win the UCL because Arteta doesn't know how to play finals.

It’s rather shocking to find that, through the losses Arsenal have had in previous seasons, the near success syndrome, here they are again in this season when, they could have lifted a lot of trophies and you find them fumbling very close to the end.

Only a week ago they lost a trophy to Manchester City and then, you would say that was well deserved as, it’s all City could hope to get but, that wasn’t all. Here again is the same Arsenal team loosing to Southampton! A team that is occupying the 7th place on the championship table and Arsenal couldn’t tale full advantage of them to advance. Rooting for this team towards winning any trophy just became risky.

Unfortunately, I had bet on Arsenal simply because I lost an early bet on Madrid. Both teams lost 2-1 to teams not on their level. Even Southampton players didn't have any names on their jersey but they still won. The odds were 1.28 for arsenal to win but closer to the start of the game, it jumped to 1.45. I hesitated but I thought I was being offered a better deal for a guaranteed outcome. I guess I was wrong. What a shameful display by Arsenal in their last 2 games.

It now all falling apart within the space of 2 weeks for the gunners, they lost the Corabao cup to Manchester city and now they are kicked out of the Emirate cup by championship Southampton. It a big disgrace and now from hoping to win 4 trophies is now can we at least get the champions league or the premier league. For me today that performance was unacceptable, they played poorly and defended poorly for both goals.

Finishing well have always been the problem for arsenal and Everton was expecting atleast this season they would take it to the finish line but it not looking so anymore. Corner FC couldn't get past Southampton that's not even in the premier league, lol. They have already bottled 2 and they are left with one to go. For me, Arsenal isn't a contender in the champions league despite the easy path they were given by UEFA, I have said it since September, Arsenal should focus on the league, get domestic dominance before they can think of conquering Europe by winning the champions league. They have already let 2 trophies slip off them, frankly, I was thinking that Arsenal will go all the way to the FA cup finals and try to win it but they just messed it up today after losing out to Southampton, well at least one less competition for them so they can focus more on others. For me I think it’s best thing for them, they should go home and actually re strategize and then focus on the Gail which is achievable, although I wasn’t expecting them to crash out at the hands of Southampton but I never saw them as winners because I have the likes of Manchester City which look like a new club with optimism since the cup win against Arsenal.

Arsenal have had this trophy the most in the league it’s better they let it go. Although they have spent lots of money they certainly do not look like a club with very good squad depth and that’s certainly something needed to fight for many trophies. They should simply just focus on the league before they bottle it again
