If Arsenal meets Manchester City this season 4 times, Manchester City is going to beat them for the whole 4 times. Arteta has not learnt how to beat his boss. That's the simple truth.

Manchester city is quite strong this season. But their  biggest weakness is that they are not able to maintain consistency. And that is why  they are not able to occupy the top position of the table. Manchester city has performed well in every match against Arsenal this season. Whatever, manchester city has the highest chance of winning the FA cup. Liverpool and arsenal, one of the two main rivals for  the title, have been eliminated in the quarter-finals.

I feel this is another big opportunity for Chelsea to win the FA Cup because I see that they will be in the finals with City. However, Manchester City is looking stronger than Chelsea which means that the chances of them winning this competition is higher. I didn't expect Arsenal to fall out from the competition so early.

FA cup are full of unpredictable as everything is possible to happen in the game. Honestly, I don't think it's advise able to look down on any team because it's a semi-final even though they are more stronger than them in appearance but as is stands now there's a lot of hope for any team that qualify for this final stage.

Though, Manchester city looks quite superior but it might likely not end the way we are expecting because football entirely still remains unpredictable.

Westham 2 - 2 Leeds (extra time)

It's a very intense game for sure. I thought Leeds is gonna win it after they lead 2-0 at the late game, but it takes only less than 5 minutes for Westham to equalize the score and push the game even further.
The funny thing is that people left stadium before the game ends, then they're going back after Westham scores a goal. The impatience showed by hammers fans are unreal. They shall at least support their beloved team until the end of game.  

The game is still running and i guess we will see penalty to happen. I believe both of clubs won't score in this additional time.

The surprise of the day was definitely Arsenal's elimination from FA Cup by 2-1 against Southampton!



I'm just wondering how they can be this bad.    I mean I know they had many names injured. In addition to that there was some extra rotation by Arteta as well.

But even in that situation they should have been able to beat a Championship team. Congrats to Southampton despite not having a great season!

Unbelievable, Arsenal's FA cup season is done. I was anticipating for a rematch between Manchester City and Arsenal in this FA cup. Some of us thought it will be a repeat of the Carabao cup, but now all hopes of that has been dashed out. Before the Carabao finals, Arsenal was in a position of winning the quadruple, it was reduced to treble after Manchester City lifted the Carabao cup and now that the are out of the FA cup, it's now reduced to double. Even if they don't win the champions league, they should secure the league. This is the time for them to get more serious and focus on one instead of chasing all at the same time. They have already lost two, they should focus on the league.

Sad that the title expectations are beginning to reduce, this may possibly affect the psychology of the team and if they continue this way, this may be just another season ending without trophy again. The two titles Arsenal has lost so far appear like the easiest they would have been able to get without too many stress, but now since  they have lost them both, the most competitive titles that are remaining, I am beginning to nurse some doubts about their possible chances to win them.

It pains that in the space of just two matches, Arsenal has two games and these two games removed them from the quadruple conversation to the double conversation, just two matches is already defining their season. The match against Manchester City in the finals was so annoying because of how Manchester City played Arsenal from start to finish like it was still 2021 season when they were still hot in all areas of the field, we were meant to understand that it's Arsenal that's the most inform team in the league this season and they pulled up that kind of display. That aside, what happened yesterday was another thing to be shameful about, Southampton beat Arsenal to kill their treble dreams and now they are only left with two trophies to fight for. I don't know why Arsenal like making the fans feel this way towards the end of the season, it's really sad.

They lead Man City in the PL by 9 points, they have played 1 game more than City and they still have to play City at The Etihad. It could get interesting if Man City win their game in hand and beat Arsenal at The Etihad. The banter would be unbelievable if Arteta bottles it again.

Well, Arsenal has been very unprofessional in the Cup matches of England which includes the Carabao cup and the FA Cup because tell me why they lost to Manchester City and after the international break they got dismissed by Southampton in the FA Cup quarter finals. Your analysis about Manchester City and Arsenal may be right but even if it works, Arsenal will still be 3 points ahead of Manchester City which even if Manchester City levels the point gap, Arsenal might be ahead in goals difference so i still feel that the odds are still in favor of Arsenal to win the Premier League.

I have beginning to think that what is happening to Arsenal is not normal, like it is spiritual, because how can a team we are calling the best team in the world get defeated and knock out from winning two trophies, after deceiving everyone that they are capable of quadruple and they are left with two and those two are at risk, i can’t believe this is happening to Arsenal football club, no wonder some people still believe Arsenal can still failed to win the UCL and the Premier League this season even when they are ahead of Manchester City with 9 points.

I am not an Arsenal fan but this is too much for the fans to handle, supporting Arsenal can give make the fans mad because watching your team giving away trophies is every season is very painful, at think at this point Arteta is the problem of the team because if he wants to win the game he will use his best players including the goalkeeper who is currently the best in the world to beat Southampton, if Arsenal failed to win premier league they will be the worst teams ever in the history of football.

The West Ham vs. Leeds game has ended, and it was a very exciting match. Leeds scored two goals and didn't concede any until the 90th minute, and it seemed like Leeds had already won the game when, in the 90+3 minute, West Ham scored a goal, and four minutes later they scored again, resulting in a draw that led to extra time and then penalties. I believe Leeds fans weren't expecting that. In any case, West Ham tried very hard and were unlucky. Congratulations to Leeds for advancing to the next stage. In my opinion, Manchester City will be champions.

This whole arsenal thing is being blown out of proportions. They simply did not care, if you watched the game you would see that they did not even run after the balls that they could, or they missed their defensive assignments, they just did not run, or cared.

It happens sometimes, and that's fine, we should not be shocked about it, we should be seeing this as normal and not be all that weird, we could make this work one way or another. Arsenal is still the leading candidate for the league title and thats all they should be foucsing on, put all their energy into that if they can.

It's just quite shameful and disheartening for the fans. How do you process and accept the fact that a club that was pushing for 4 trophies at the end of the season has lost out of 2 trophies already within just two weeks. They looked undefeatable, but they are getting it back to back even from a low ranked club.

Arsenal fans all over there world are really going through a lot. This season was different because the hope was high, but things have turned another way negative for them. The worst that can happen is Arsenal loosing the premier league this time to city. I would advise all Arsenal fans to take there minds off anything trophy to be on the safer side. So that if they finally loose, they will accept it in good fate. And if they win, they celebrate..

What I fear is that losing two trophies in such short order will lower Arsenal's confidence. Indeed, losing the FA Cup still gives Arsenal a chance to win the Premier League and Champions League trophies. But that won't be easy when Arsenal suffers consecutive defeats. This defeat will also impact Arsenal when they face Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League quarter finals.

I don't know what Arteta was thinking against Southampton. He did rest several players, but the lineup he fielded was very poor. He should have found a way out when the team started to hit a goal scoring deadlock. Arsenal FA Cup exit will benefit Manchester City in their quest to win the FA Cup this season as the remaining teams in the FA Cup are far below City quality, with the exception of Chelsea who are evenly matched opponents. Arsenal fate depends on Arteta ability to keep the players motivated and not give up hope, as Arsenal journey in the EPL and UCL will also be increasingly difficult.

Maybe the players reacted and scored back the two goals when they saw that their fans were leaving the stadium. I won’t blame Westham fans for leaving the stadium when their club was 2 goals down in 90 plus minutes. Not that Westham were playing at away, they were playing at home and it wasn’t as if it was one of the premier league big clubs that was winning them. It was Leeds a club that recently gained promotion to the Premier League. It was worth leaving the stadium for the players to know that their efforts weren’t enough and the fans weren’t happy with their performance.

I actually think West Ham will win today, I think their form has improved a lot from the early parts of the season. Leeds are a proper battling team but I just feel that West Ham with home advantage will have the edge.

What I do hope is that Man City and Chelsea face each other in the semi finals so it means either Southampton or the winner of the match today make the final.

Unfortunately West Ham couldn't make it to the Semi final as Leeds United held them tight. Although, West ham did a great job because it's not easy to be two goals down and then pull a come back to push the game to extra minutes.

West ham attempted to complete the come back scoring two goals at the extra time of regular play time to level the scoreline to 2-2. They had a goal disallowed otherwise their come back would have been a successful one. Leeds United finished the job on spot kick to make it to the semi final after a long time in this competition.

It doesn't surprise me, though. I have been saying it for a while now that Arsenal's performance is declining. I even argued about it with someone here. They have been becoming more pragmatic and focusing on the defence more. That kind of football is not the way a team that wants to win trophies should play. You have to be dominant and attack your opponent. From the very beginning, I knew the suprised will be if Arsenal wins more than one trophy. They will be knocked out of the UCL too before the final. With the way they play, it will be difficult for them to win against top teams that play like Barcelona.

If they are not careful, they can still lose the league. If Man City wins their outstanding and also wins Arsenal when they meet, then they league will be blown open again. I won't be suprsied to see them bottle the league too.

I was telling a friend yesterday after that shocking elimination of Arsenal from the English FA Cup by an EFL Championship side Southampton that Mikel Arteta probably has a strong phobia for winning trophies. How do you go from being a strong contender for the quadruple to becoming a team that's now left with just two trophies to fight for? I can imagine how difficult it is to be an Arsenal fan.

I will not underrate Leeds and Southampton, especially Southampton who sent home Arsenal. They can face Manchester City with same intensity and game plan as they did to Arsenal, and could get to the finals with Leeds who may just do the same thing to Chelsea as we know also that Leeds is a team that Chelsea struggles to play.

I do not think the two bigger teams on paper will be the teams to get to the finals, but let us all watch out and see football happen.

Honestly speaking, without seeing the match, you will feel it is a fluke but Southampton are really showing what it means to be in form, Arsenal keeps playing this stupid style of play with no creativity. Southampton are clearly the stronger team this first half and maybe Arsenal will turn it around the second half.

Arsenal are really playing this FA Cup game like a fool without creativity, that's what we've seen. Actually this team has lost two important matches in a row, you notice they lost the EFL Carabao Cup final against Manchester City and last night they lost in the quarter-final of the FA Cup against a team like Southampton. Seeing this team's recent performance, we are all worried whether they will win the important rounds of the UCL and Premier League, they already have a Champions League quarter-final match ahead of them, where their opponent, Sporting CP, is relatively weak, but i guess there is no guarantee that they will win that match.

This was amazing results from Leeds and Southampton!
They managed to kick out Arsenal and West Ham from FA Cup, and now Leeds is playing against Chelsea and Southampton against Manchester City in FA Cup semi-finals.
Leeds is the only team from Championship and they are not doing good this season because they are close to relegation zone.
Odds are telling us we are going to see Chelsea and Man City in final, but surprises are always possible

I think Southampton want to lift the FA cup trophy this season because for them to pushed away Fullham and Arsenal shows they can do it to other teams. What a sad day for Arsenal, who could have believe that a championship team will eliminate Arsenal in this quarter final, I was completely shocked about Arsenal performance in this game. This is a team that was suppose to correct their past mistakes in this two trophies but they just make everything difficult by themselves, the disappointment is too much for their fans I think they should let them continue with their normal losing since they don't want to help themselves.

All the team that qualified for the semi-final has a percentage chance of lifting the FA Cup title. If a team underestimates Arsenal, they will face the same fate with Arsenal. Arteta was reserving a player for the match against Sporting CP in the Champions League. A potential title they should be contending for, it has to end shamefully. If Southampton keep up with this level of performance, they will progress to the final. In final, anything is possible, an underdog can play very well and win a final.

Southampton has been in a very good form of lately, Southampton are currently on a 15 game undefeated streak, with 12 games being a win, I understand the disparity between the Championship and the Premier but the Championship is also a difficult league and looking at the game, it wasn't a surprise that Southampton win, as usual, Arsenal are still uncreative.

The draw has been made and 4 teams will be going to the semi finals, Chelsea will face Leeds United and Manchester city will face Southampton, and you can now say we will see Chelsea vs Manchester city in the final.

For me I think this is another big opportunity for Chelsea to try and end the season with a silverware, it has been an easy path for chelsea to the final. They have been in a very poor foam in the league maybe this will something they will need to hold on to for the season.
