Premier League cannot be called truly farmers league because after all Manchester City could not be compared to the long history that Bayern Munich are having in Bundesliga nor Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1. Manchester City awakening is relatively recent and intermittent. Pep Guardiola managed to lead his team to the finals and if he managed to win all three titles, it would be a great news for all of them and he might try another path in his career.
If Pep Guardiola were to leave Manchester City, we would see the club decline significantly for many seasons; it might even be very difficult for them to win the Premier League title again. That's why, in my opinion, I believe the club's management will keep him for many more years. He would only leave if Manchester City didn't win anything this season. But now that the media is no longer criticizing him for poor results, his job is safe regardless of whether they finish first or second in the Premier League table. Tomorrow we'll see Chelsea against Leeds, and it's quite funny that the bookmakers are putting Chelsea as the favorite in this game, to the point of giving odds of @2.00 while Leeds has odds of @3.45. In my opinion, Leeds is clearly better, mainly because Chelsea will be playing with a new coach, if I'm not mistaken. A new coach will need a few games to adapt and create better strategies. I think Leeds will win.

This was supposed to be Manchester City’s worst season, this was the season people asked if It is over for Manchester City’s coach Pep, this was that season we saw Manchester city lose and played poorly all that to consider and still Manchester City can do the English domestic double. The beat Arsenal in the English league cup and they beat Southampton to go into the FA cup final to play either Chelsea or Leeds United. Manchester City beat Arsenal in the league cup final I think that will be more demanding than either Chelsea or Leeds united.
Am so surprised how the Season later turned out for them because at the time when they were losing all those games, if anyone told me that they would be in a position to actually win three trophies this season I would called the person crazy but as things have turned out, it seems Manchester City and pep guadiola still has everything in check and doing fine.

Heartbreak for Southampton but you are never safe with a single goal lead against Man City. It just shows the fight and belief that City have under Guardiola. They feel like they are never beaten.
A real shame for Southampton, a final with them against Leeds would have been great but it wasn’t meant to be.

I've got some Arsenal fans with me celebrating when Southampton started the scoring, only for Manchester City to score back in less than 5 minutes and another to seal the win in less than 5 minutes as well, 2 goals in 10 minutes. Chelsea has to win Leeds tomorrow to play Manchester City in the final, another tough final for City for the FA Cup trophy.

That's the difference between a team coached by a manager who can instill a positive mentality in players and a coach who can see opportunities to seize moments and force the team to work hard despite the pressure. Although Manchester City started the season unconvincingly, Pep Guardiola has been able to inspire his players to a positive start and City have a chance to win three domestic trophies this season. They've already secured the first trophy the Carabao Cup and now they still have a chance to win another trophy in the FA Cup. In the Premier League, they've also surprisingly overtaken Arsenal at the top. They just need to maintain consistency to win the Premier League title. This is different from Arsenal under Arteta. He hasn't fully instilled a positive mentality in the players even though they've had a good start every season, but have been inconsistent lately. Arteta doesn't seem to have learned from his experience. Now Manchester City are in the FA Cup final and they now await their opponent Chelsea or Leeds which will be played tomorrow. Statistically both Leeds and Chelsea are far below Man City in quality, so Man City chances of winning the FA Cup are wide open.

Coupled with all the crisis that is going on with Chelsea I really don't see them winning that game and even if they win they will most certainly lose against Manchester City in the finals.

It was a shameful thing for Arsenal fans that Southampton eliminated them from the FA Cup, so today they were praying for Southampton to eliminate Manchester City so they could feel better. Their reason was that Southampton is a strong team, and that is why they could eliminate Manchester City too, but their prayer did not work.To be honest, Southampton really tried by playing a goalless first half against Manchester City. It was really surprising to me because I never expected a Champions League team to be given such a tough time by a Premier League side like this. It is today that I realized that Southampton are in form. As for Chelsea against Leeds, the match is not going to be easy, as Chelsea are not currently in good form. This season, I think Leeds have already beaten Chelsea, even when Chelsea were doing better than they are now. So, I view the match as one where any team can eliminate the other, but Leeds seem to have a good chance based on Chelsea’s poor performances. However, I would still like Chelsea to qualify for the final, as finals are usually tough and Chelsea are always good in finals. But how would it look if a team people said were not playing well ended up winning the triple in the end?

Finals produce their own stories, it is not the same as a PL match. When you take the FA Cup finals from 2024 and 2025 as an example, nobody expected that Manchester City would lose them both against Crystal Palace and Manchester United. If you area Leeds United fan, I understand you would prefer them to go to the final, but Chelsea can still be able to bring about an exciting final. If league performances were a strong indicator, Southampton wouldn't have been able to put up with Manchester City for so long.

I said the best possible outcome for Chelsea to beat Leeds united, Chelsea has better players than Leeds united in rating but Leeds has inform players in the last three or four matches. Everyone knows that Chelsea has been playing very badly, even the board that’s is why Liam Rosenior was sacked but Chelsea can hold a draw and take it to penalty.
Well, one would expect that of Chelsea given that, they are the favorites in this fixture and should be able to eliminate Leeds but we know that is easily said than down with Chelsea. They haven’t being at their best lately and Leeds have being having more better performance than we can say for Chelsea. With Chelsea haven’t sacked their manager recently, it all adds up to why difficulty they might have to overcome and hopefully they do make it to the finals but, might not win the trophy. The game against Leeds, I can say Chelsea now have a better chance of winning this game after sacking Liam Rosenior. Aside being not entirely competent for this role the team doesn't really like him or the fact that he came to replace Enzo Maresca with a better structure and identity of the team. I expect Chelsea to win over all.

Pep Guardiola has coached many top teams from other leagues like the Spanish La Liga where he was Barcelona coach and in the Bundesliga where he was Bayern Munich coach before he became Manchester City coach since 2016 till present. His has spent more time at Manchester City than the other clubs which is to indicate his love for Manchester City and he has succeeded in winning many Premier League titles and also winning the Champions League for the team in 2023. He is likely to spend more years in Manchester City because the club he would have loved to become coach is Real Madrid but since he has already coached a team from the La Liga, he will not like a contract at Real Madrid. Guardiola changed the football dynamics at Manchester City so the club will not let him go yet.

New interim coach is taking over from the game against Leeds, let's anticipate what the new manager has to do, let's assume his first impression handling the club will be great. Chelsea isn't the best to trust for the role, but they can if they approach the game as a big club ready to make use of the opportunity. Chelsea are not sure of making the top five before the season ends, no big competition for them next season, this is the only privilege's for them to play in a final with possibility of not going trophyless if they can beat Manchester City for the title.

Manchester City managed to secure a hard-fought victory against Southampton in the FA Cup semi-final. I say ‘hard-fought’ because they were trailing 1–0 as the 80th minute approached. City scored two goals in the final 10 minutes and managed to knock their opponents out of the cup. Southampton were a team from a lower division who hadn’t lost in recent weeks and whose form had been on the up. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they’d drawn with City, but after conceding the goal, City stepped up the pressure and won the match.

The coach that’s handling Chelsea now is not entirely new to the team, he was the manager that was taking care of the team when Enzo Maresca was sacked, before Liam Rosenoir was appointed. I believe he’s quite familiar with the players. But even at that, Chelsea are not in any position to win Leeds. Maybe the bookmakers are giving Chelsea 2.00 odds because they are big name. But for people that has been following the performance of both clubs in recent weeks will understand that Leeds are in better form right now and Chelsea haven’t been playing well lately. Anyone who’s looking at odd to bet on the match might be falling into a trap. I’m backing Leeds to win.

Manchester city started the season poorly, I never believed they going to get to the current position which they are in all the competitions which they participating in. They started poorly, but their is improvement in their performance, they won the carabao cup, they now in FA cup final, and they struggling to win the premier league title also, there is a great improvement in Manchester city performance lately. Manchester city played well against Southampton today, they completely dominated the match in both first half and second half of the match, but they found it difficult to score in the match, they were able to score their two goals towards the ending of the second half of the match, but finally they qualified to the final.

I wasn't surprised because I knew manchester city as a team that usually sit up in dying minutes, truly looking at their performance from the very beginning of this season you might even jump to conclusion that no trophy for them this season but imagine how everything just turned out for them. But as for the premier league I'm not sure if they will win it this season because I actually thought arsenal would mess up today but they end up surprising everyone even though they won with just one goal but I think wining is just wining and newcastle is not always that easy to be defeated but they did well their performance shows that they still want to competite for the title.

Chelsea has to win Leeds tomorrow to play Manchester City in the final, another tough final for City for the FA Cup trophy. Did u say another tough match for Man city if chelsea qualify to the final? I think that will be an easy win for Man city, Man city could win 3 title this season the caraboa cup are already with them chelsea or Leeds can't even stand them in the FA cup final and they may also likely win the premier league title, meanwhile why were Arsenal fans celebrating when Southampton scored is it not Man city that eliminated Arsenal in the caraboa cup final.

Love how City usually looks very unlikely to win trophies like then come towards the end of the competition and pursue it with all amount of seriousness. See how Guardiola brought in several of his starters when he saw that the game wasn't going their way and only then, they started scoring.
Even though Southampton didn't win, they put up a good fight and have shown that they're ready to get back the premier league. I wish them the best of luck as they focus on championship matches for the remainder of the season.

What a big name! What a brand! What a legend of the game. It's still very funny that Manchester City who started this season very poor, where lots of fans didn't even think that they will win any trophy this season now has 80% chance of winning Domestic treble. Unlike Arsenal who everyone thought they will have a very great season aren't even sure of winning any trophies anymore. They are just in fear. Southampton really put fear in me when they scored at the 79th minute, my thought was that they will just defend that goal till full time. But Manchester City equalize quickly through Doku and Nico Gonzalez scored the winning goal to send them to final. This will be Pep 4th final in a row, this Man has achieved lots of significant records. I am very sure he is going to win the remaining two trophies.

One thing about Pep I always love is that he always tend to find out the problem and provide solutions before the whole situation becomes unsalvageable. Those substitutions was divine and it feels like he is on a fast track to win another domestic trophy, but I will say Southampton really did put up an excellent fight. There only problem was they where playing Pep. In light of the FA Cup weekend matches, who do you guys think will come out victorious in the matchup between Leeds and Chelsea, bearing in mind that Chelsea had been real unstable
