Yes it was a really poor game and a poor decision making too by the referee and VAR because I think Chelsea deserves at least one penalty in this game but the referee seems to overlook all of the actions in that 18 yard box especially the handball by Nico O’Reilly. Chelsea grew more into the game during the second half but lack the final touches to set their attacking players up in the attacking third, Manchester city were able to grab the lone goal through a Antoine Semenyos backheel which secured them the trophy, but In all the intensity of the match doesn’t really match the hype of the game.

I didn’t watch the game, because I knew it wasn’t going to be a very interesting game, i wasn’t expecting Chelsea to play anything because I know they’re not a very good team like people would think, most big games in England are always over hyped, just like this particular game it was over hyped because of the two teams involved, when you check the Premier League table and you’re seeing Chelsea in the 9th Position you shouldn’t be expecting them to play any good football.

Chelsea should’ve focused on scoring a clear goal and stop looking for penalty that Cole Palmer will want to play, Chelsea should be more focused on getting themselves back to winning ways next season and just forget about winning any trophy, there is no Europe for them, which should be a blessing to themselves to build a proper team.

The only positive you can take from the game is that Chelsea didn't concede as much goals as expected because it was literally what I had expected from them because they have failed in even trying to play attack and score. Big clubs will likely not spend big money on players that are not in good form this season, Chelsea players are all average and their performance in their club was below average so it you expect them to leave Chelsea to other teams then they will be ready to get low fees because no club will spend on a player that has little or nothing to offer to the club he's going to. Chelsea players should be made to remain in the team to fight for next season so that they will see the need to do better so they will play in the champions League the next season to come. My honest review is that they played well, but based on individual mistakes from some of the players like Joao Pedro to score a goal even with good assistance is what brought them down, they tried defensively they even tried in attack but it's clear that Manchester city is a better team,

Which team were they expecting to do the job for them and qualify them for any of the European competitions? The problem isn't totally in the hands of the coach alone, but the players also have their individual/collective job contributions to their team. Look at the match today. Would you expect the coach to come hit accurate targets for them, or control or make hold of the ball properly?
