I speculate that this is because Elon Musk missed his chance to buy bitcoin under a dollar and also missed the chance to become one of the biggest personalities and influencers of the bitcoin community. Both of those chances he missed can presently be obtained by investing and supporting an altcoin.

I happen to think, that Elon Musk has had Bitcoins since practically its inception. Let's not forget that he was one of the creators of PayPal. In 2010-2012 the fact that he heard about a new 100% virtual payment system certainly caught his attention and he must have had some "experience".

So it does look like Tesla is still working on their crypto payment system.  I was surprised to see they updated the code on the page once this tweet was made.  I figured this was just hangover stuff from when they were playing around with accepting crypto.  It seems like maybe they're getting ready to open the floodgates again.  Hopefully just in time for the perfect December storm we see every 4 years.

It'll no longer be making headlines in 2022 and nobody will care about it, at least no more than people cared about it before this year. He know that the dev doesn't have any control of that coin that's why he see a potential to manipulate the dogecoin market easily, We see him do that before and for doing this public stint and accepting it on their business for sure they are aftering something so better for new to not get hook by this news and sell if you hold doge once profit is already showing to us and its good not to be greedy on manipulated coins since we will end up chasing the news and get panic on situations currently happening.

I agree that EM has a great need to be important and significant in something, and it failed to achieve that with Bitcoin because it is decentralized. On the other hand, he agreed very easily with those behind Doge, although it is not clear to me how Buterin, who already has his own project, fits into this story? Some conspiracy theorists might say that a team that is serious about competing with Bitcoin is coming together, although the question is what do they really intend to do with a project that has a foundation in the idea of making a joke based on cryptocurrencies (primarily Bitcoin).

Elon Musk is the owner of Tesla and also the promoter of Dogecoin, that obviously they will accept this coin than choose Bitcoin instead. But such a changing mind hearing news talking about that they will accept Bitcoin. It can be now a twist of Elon Musk to love Bitcoin and hold more of it, in fact, we are aware that he also holds a few BTC.
I don't include Shiba in this, it is a separate issue. And don't also think that this is a sort of competition between the 2 meme coins Doge and Shiba. But I'd see this that Elon Musk and Tesla are ready to criticize after rejecting Bitcoin before as they just keep Doge alone.

Seems that Tesla is testing payment in Bitcoin and another coin called SHIBA. However upon investigation it seems that the coin is called SHIBA but when he did a test transaction the address started with D. And then he did a test payment on the Doge network and when the payment was accepted it confirmed on the Tesla servers.

Never in a million years would of I guessed that he was actually serious and would start accepting Doge. Was assuming he would accept Bitcoin and Ethereum. Definitely not Shiba or Doge.

Wonder if someone will actually buy an entire Tesla vehicle paid for by Dogecoin.



 

The vehicle owned by Tesla is quite large and in fact many variants are offered, but unfortunately in our country there is no such product, in fact the hype is good for Tesla's development in adopting and influencing the market and if this is successful then it is likely that Tesla will continue to grow, adoption is good made by tesla, this is a development that is more and more attractive to people, the target market will be at certain countries.

He could possibly still make out some manipulation but not on the sense on dropping down the price even he's a billionaire yet this coin itself doesnt really have that single or a few holders which simply means that controlling it on the very essence would be nearly impossible.

Yes, anyone could make out some significant effect depending on the hype or fud that generates around considering that the community does easily react on situations like this.

Businesses could accept coins whatever they want because its their liking and decision whether there's something behind those decisions or doesnt have.

Well, if that is really true, then that was good. I know and I believe that someday the use of crypto to buy stuff is fully accepted and one's must have to take an action first as the others will follow next. I hope this was a real market deal and Tesla will continue to accept crypto not just Dogecoin as first stated by the owner.

Most likely, after all you do not get to be one of the richest people alive without knowing a thing or two about how to get some free publicity for your projects, Elon has been very smart about all of this to the point I remember people designing even bots to monitor the activity on his social media accounts and see if he talked about dogecoin so they could invest in it quickly enough before the price went up, so when Elon talks about dogecoin people listen and he knows this.

Vitalik is only with the Dogecoin Foundation on an advisory position. His time will not be 100% used on running the foundation. Also, he fits in quite well, I reckon. Vitalik had a much similar situation with bitcoin before his creation of Ethereum. He wanted influence, however, cannot have the same influence over the bitcoin community compared to people like Andreas. The result is he created his own coin.

As unfortunate as this is people are just like that, just look at the reverence celebrities get from the general public, to me this problem has been exacerbated through social media, as in the past even if people revered the celebrities there was still a great deal of distance between them and their fans, but now social media creates the illusion that they are closer to the celebrities or that they are their friends and this makes most people to worship them even more.

Elon Musk has revealed that SpaceX has invested its cash reserves in bitcoin, following on from Tesla’s announcement earlier this year that it bought $1.5 billion of the cryptocurrency.

That's at least 5 months old news, so it's not clear to me how something like this can go unnoticed by someone interested in Bitcoin? And the reason people focus almost entirely on Tesla is that it's still a car company, and ordinary mortals are much more interested in it than a company that sends people and cargo into space.

Right now, both DOGE and SHIB didn't make a price increase but as this rumor or news will be spread in the next days there is a possibility that one of these two coins or both of them will pump short term.

Lots had made out some good profits on that SHIB hype but there are still lots who had been fucked out hard and remains on the peak price and keeps holding because theyve been caught with the dump.

Is this something surprising? No its not because this is a very common mistake not only happened now but also in the past where hypes and shills do happen which do really end up on buying a coin

Result? They've find themselves on the top and ending up on holding like forever yet the coin had never made out that recovery.

I don't think that he is more concerned about the tax, he's getting proud of becoming The number one among the richest people in the world and that he'd likely to keep that record and that is why he uses his money to invest more and more. I don't think its for the demand but rather for the hype they possible want to establish in the market also a marketing strategy for them knowing all who use bitcoin is an investor and they might grab some unit if they see tesla accept bitcoin on their payment options, that's why many people got crazy about those news and been FOMO for certain scenario made by them.
