Seems that Tesla is testing payment in Bitcoin and another coin called SHIBA. However upon investigation it seems that the coin is called SHIBA but when he did a test transaction the address started with D. And then he did a test payment on the Doge network and when the payment was accepted it confirmed on the Tesla servers.

Never in a million years would of I guessed that he was actually serious and would start accepting Doge. Was assuming he would accept Bitcoin and Ethereum. Definitely not Shiba or Doge.

Like Phil said, Doge is very secured due to LTC mining. Doge is more or less like LTC, maybe missing the Segwit portion. If he accepts Doge, maybe people will use Bitcoin to buy a Tesla car and use Doge to buy accessories such as floor mats. The fees are extremely low for Doge.

However I think that one day, perhaps Dogecoin will be rebranded to say something like PowerCoin (bad example) and I’ll be taken more seriously with this new name rather than Doge which is nothing but a meme coin. And who knows one day it might be a top 5 alt coin.

Someone will try just to continue with the hype but this one is actually a good adoption that can affect the whole market because Tesla is a big car company so it can create another hype and expect the price to go up if ever this will push through. I think there are people who would decide to buy Tesla with DOGE or SHIBA, but I don't see any business need for such payments to be established. Of course, we can speculate what would happen if that will be done by Musk.. Certainly, the price of both meme coins would go up several times again, but in my opinion it is pointless and it will never happen.

The price of Doge seems to have increased a little since this news was first discovered. However it’s hard to say since pretty much everything is rallying. However there is speculation that since Tesla accepted Bitcoin in the past,
And musk said they would accept it again. People are fairly certain it will accept Bitcoin, that’s a given.

If we are to be honest, what percentage of the crypto market can be considered serious in the sense that some altcoin has some meaning and significance? Because, it is the crypto world. As long as you are doing fine in the crypto world, there is really no reason to be something useful. Just be hyped and loved and that's it, there is no other need at all. I personally have done the same with few other coins before, it was useless tokens but I got in, it was hyped, and I got out. The token itself literally had no value, and did dropped to near zero levels eventually as well, but for a while at the start it was really loved and I used that to my advantage.

So, do not focus on finding stuff that are fundamentally strong if you are interested in simply making a quick profit, sure it is better to buy good ones if you are looking to be in there for a long time but getting in and out for an hour? DOGE might be the option since Elon is endorsing it so it will be bad if they accept other crypto not unless its Bitcoin, then it could be more better to all of us imagine a huge car company now accepting Bitcoin and Doge as mode of payment, that’s a big adoption mate. Maybe Elon was the author of the fake news behind the anonymous profile to create some hype in crypto market, leading his public to not give up on doge and shiba inu after disappoiting some fans for not holding any shiba, even though he made some sympathetic jokes regards the altcoin in the past.

Anyway I don't think Tesla is going to accept these altcoins as payment method for real, because that just doesn't make sense if we think about any practical reason for this adoption. A big company doesn't accept a crypto currency as payment method just because it's funny. That would be ridiculous and useless as marketing, only reaching to a small bubble of fans, most of them poor people who don't even have money to buy a Tesla, as they are trying to join an altcoin get rich scheme promoted through jokes by the guru Elon Musk.

We will not know what is Elon plans with those two coins but he has already made a noise in the crypto market so I guess he will make another tweet in the future.

But there is the strategy. They don't need people to buy with BTC or another currency, what they wanted is for the newspapers to talk about Tesla, because along with the news they will give other information about the company that is already of general interest.

Besides, they're talking about Tesla. And people keep the name/company alive in their minds. And this can help in future decision making when buying an electric car.

What they are looking for is Elon to be talked about and not just Tesla. I get that most of his money comes from Tesla, owning a big part of it made him this much wealthier, and that is why everyone thinks he is doing it just for tesla.

However, remember that he has Solar City for tesla and he has SpaceX as well. That way we end up realizing that MAYBE he is doing this for all of his companies and not just one of them. After six years, the Dogecoin Foundation has been re-established with a renewed focus on supporting the Dogecoin ecosystem, adding some high-profile names to its board of advisors.

Elon Musk is the owner of Tesla and also the promoter of Dogecoin, that obviously they will accept this coin than choose Bitcoin instead. But such a changing mind hearing news talking about that they will accept Bitcoin. It can be now a twist of Elon Musk to love Bitcoin and hold more of it, in fact, we are aware that he also holds a few BTC.
I don't include Shiba in this, it is a separate issue. And don't also think that this is a sort of competition between the 2 meme coins Doge and Shiba. But I'd see this that Elon Musk and Tesla are ready to criticize after rejecting Bitcoin before as they just keep Doge alone.

Seems that Tesla is testing payment in Bitcoin and another coin called SHIBA. However upon investigation it seems that the coin is called SHIBA but when he did a test transaction the address started with D. And then he did a test payment on the Doge network and when the payment was accepted it confirmed on the Tesla servers.

Never in a million years would of I guessed that he was actually serious and would start accepting Doge. Was assuming he would accept Bitcoin and Ethereum. Definitely not Shiba or Doge.

He could possibly still make out some manipulation but not on the sense on dropping down the price even he's a billionaire yet this coin itself doesnt really have that single or a few holders which simply means that controlling it on the very essence would be nearly impossible.

Most likely, after all you do not get to be one of the richest people alive without knowing a thing or two about how to get some free publicity for your projects, Elon has been very smart about all of this to the point I remember people designing even bots to monitor the activity on his social media accounts and see if he talked about dogecoin so they could invest in it quickly enough before the price went up, so when Elon talks about dogecoin people listen and he knows this.

Vitalik is only with the Dogecoin Foundation on an advisory position. His time will not be 100% used on running the foundation. Also, he fits in quite well, I reckon. Vitalik had a much similar situation with bitcoin before his creation of Ethereum. He wanted influence, however, cannot have the same influence over the bitcoin community compared to people like Andreas. The result is he created his own coin.

As unfortunate as this is people are just like that, just look at the reverence celebrities get from the general public, to me this problem has been exacerbated through social media, as in the past even if people revered the celebrities there was still a great deal of distance between them and their fans, but now social media creates the illusion that they are closer to the celebrities or that they are their friends and this makes most people to worship them even more.

Lots had made out some good profits on that SHIB hype but there are still lots who had been fucked out hard and remains on the peak price and keeps holding because theyve been caught with the dump.

Seems that Tesla is testing payment in Bitcoin and another coin called SHIBA. However upon investigation it seems that the coin is called SHIBA but when he did a test transaction the address started with D. And then he did a test payment on the Doge network and when the payment was accepted it confirmed on the Tesla servers.

Never in a million years would of I guessed that he was actually serious and would start accepting Doge. Was assuming he would accept Bitcoin and Ethereum. Definitely not Shiba or Doge.

I think if he announced this earlier, such as when BTC was at ATH, then perhaps Doge might be nearing its ATHs also. However it seems that his tweets are getting less and less relevant. It was every Dogecoin holders dream for Tesla to accept Dogecoin and now that it does (or will soon) the pump seems to be fading.

We will see how the daily closes however not looking so promising so far. I think since this coin has experienced an >80% loss from ATH has alot of bag holders which are very desperate to get out as the biggest loss possible.

Since year is ending... there is going to be lots of tax loss harvesting selling and most likely Dogecoin will be one of those coins that experiences those.
