Are you joking or is this a real deal? No, I am not joking. They announced it over social media. Multiple other profiles reported about it over on X. There are even dumb tweets like, Lamborghini is creating their first hardware wallet. The Lamborghini-themed Ledger Stax is supposed to be released at the start of 2026. It will have a custom packaging design and a lambo-branded magnetic case as screen protection. I think that's all they said.

--snip-- Looks like I do understand how lithium batteries work. FWIW, electronic company should use assumption that most of their customer have no or little about how lithium batteries works. In this case, Ledger should anticipate some people rarely turn on their hardware wallet.
Today I saw that Ledger partnered with Lamborghini to create an exclusive and custom version of their Ledger Stax hardware wallet
Are you joking or is this a real deal? This sounds to me like a typical scammer who decided to spend a lot of money on promoting his pyramidal scheme. Nobody can help someone who decides to buy ledger just because they partnered with Lambo or some other luxury brand. It's real deal. Wen Lambo? Now.
We've partnered with @Lamborghini to create a custom Ledger Stax, connecting the pinnacle of automotive design with the highest standard of security and our most premium signer.
I have doubt about their security claim, but i'm sure it'll be expensive.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Ledger teams up with Lambo in the hardware wallets domain. Their claim of “secure protection” sounds rather ironic to me, while their curved display on limited edition of Ledger Stax will probably set PrivacyG’s imagination on fire.

Their claim of “secure protection” sounds rather ironic to me, while their curved display on limited edition of Ledger Stax will probably set PrivacyG’s imagination on fire. Instead of wasting financial resources on advertising in partnership with Lambo, it would be better for Ledger to spend those funds on the quality of the materials and components used in the HW. And even better, on protection and security. Why would I, as a potential user of a hardware wallet, need a "Lambo's bull" on this device? It won't affect the safety of the funds stored in my wallet. Ledger is trying hard to attract customers, spending money on marketing, while the obvious solution - simply creating a reliable and high-quality product (and service) - remains elusive. In this world, marketers have won, " devouring" companies' budgets at the expense of product quality.

Two things: 1: I doubt Ledger is paying Lamborghini to use their name and trademark. Ledger is probably getting paid to do it. 2: Ledger isn't the hardware wallet for real security anymore. The entire point of a hardware wallet is to have the ability to use your keys to sign transactions on a device which cannot be reached over the internet. But Ledger added internet key extraction capability to their firmware, so Ledger devices can no longer be considered "cold wallets." Sadly, most Ledger users won't take the security of their Bitcoin seriously until Ledger's key extraction scheme gets hacked. But by the time we find out about that, it'll be too late. Hackers aren't going to let anybody know when they hack that nonsense. They won't want Ledger to patch the exploit they use to steal people's keys. I think Ledger's key extraction firmware is a time bomb waiting to go off. I stopped using Ledger hardware the day it was announced, and I moved my coins to a seed that never touched a Ledger.

Why would I, as a potential user of a hardware wallet, need a "Lambo's bull" on this device?
Because many people are too focused on how something looks and is designed instead of the other characteristics you mentioned. Give people a choice to use something that looks nice and has a beautiful interface or something ugly and simplistic that works better, and they will take the former. Even on this forum you can read comments like, what an ugly wallet. I would never use that; it looks old and is heavy; I would never buy a device that looks like that, etc. etc. Physical appearance is important in everything, even where it shouldn't matter at all.

I can only imagine how much money they wasted on this stupid deal with Lamborghini, instead of spending it in actually improving their crap. I understand that most of their profit is only coming from marketing and promotions, and most people are just following that like sheep. What's next on the list? Ledger Macron maybe

The New Year has barely begun and it seems we have another data breach and leak of personal information. Again, it's connected to Ledger and their payment processor, Global-e. The first reports claim that personal data, such as names and contact info was leaked. If you used Global-e when buying a Ledger hardware wallet, your personal data might have been breached. Victims could receive phishing emails, scam calls, or even visits by masked gentlemen.

Ledger had another data breach connected with their payment processor Global-e! Result is another leak of all personal information of customers including name and other contact information. Now everyone can expect another wave ofscammers sending new emails, sms messages and calling ex ledger customers. This is just one more reason to STOP using ledger crap devices!

The data leakage from payment processor is not something that should come as surprise. Take Slim CD Inc., for example, which suffered undetected breach for nearly a year, resulting in the exposure of personal data including addresses and sensitive card information. In fact, such data leaks can occur almost anywhere, not just at payment processors, so what used to be an occasional “leak” decades ago has now turned into the constant data stream. P.S. A few fresh examples relevant to insurance giant Aflac don't use insurance plan , Nissanstop driving Nissan , 700Credit stop using credit cards .. the list can be continued to infinity.

or even visits by masked gentlemen. I hope none of the affected users experience it and this is also the main reason why I always prefer to go with an official reseller that has a brick-and-mortar store [the premium prices are well worth it]. This is just one more reason to STOP using ledger crap devices!
I agree with what @satscraper said about the possibility of data breaches happening on almost any platform, but what worries me is that Ledger doesn't seem to care enough to at least post a warning on their social media [SMH (it literally takes a minute)].

You can't compare leaks for cars, houses, government documents, leaks with ledger leaks, since you don't have the option to choose. I already wrote a guide few years ago how to buy hardware wallets correctly, and I always recommend purchasing with cash in local stores, if that is possible.

Imagine buying a hardware wallet to keep your coins protected from hackers and malware, but then having your data, like your full name and home address breached and now in the hands of scammers and all sorts of people who will do anything for money...
The time has come when we must worry not only about our digital sovereignty but also about our physical safety. Your coins may be protected from malware, but what if some unwanted visitors arrive with a wrench, wanting to "chat"? How will you protect your fortune or even your family?
Unfortunately, in some countries, it's very difficult to own weapons, as the government itself prohibits or makes it very difficult...
I hope the people who had their data leaked (again) are safe.

That's why I'm starting to believe that purchasing a hardware wallet from Ledger is tantamount to publicly revealing your ownership of crypto currencies. After a series of data leaks from this company. The time has come when we must worry not only about our digital sovereignty but also about our physical safety. Your coins may be protected from malware, but what if some unwanted visitors arrive with a wrench, wanting to "chat"? How will you protect your fortune or even your family?
I'm also starting to have doubts about the protection these devices provide against malware. Call me paranoid, but this company's repeated problems make me wonder if one of their employees (with access) could pre-install malware on physical devices at the factory. I hope the people who had their data leaked (again) are safe.
With each new leak, the risks to these people increase. Unfortunately. Ledger is 100% responsible for this since this is third leak that happened to them. I guess it's more important to pay a shit tone of money to make stupid lambo partnership, than to actually learn something from past mistakes. Moreover, such marketing ploys are more important to them than their customers' opinions of the company. This means that Ledger spends money on attracting new customers for collaborations with lambo, but at the same time, they don't care about the data leaks of their existing users (who fell for the marketing department's bait), as they have never received any compensation for the personal data leaks, and the "old vulnerabilities" that lead to the leaks haven't been patched. In my opinion, this shows complete disregard for their customers.

As a matter of fact, on their support site Ledger explained why their customers received a warning email from Global‑e rather than from Ledger itself: In my view, the logic of their explanation based on the fact that neither Ledger’s hardware nor software was involved is straightforward.

You have a point, but the issue that I mentioned wasn't about them not notifying their users through email... I genuinely believe most of the new ledger users either don't know where to look for certain information [one of the reasons why they've chosen their products, despite different known issues] or they don't bother at all to go beyond social media platforms and last time I checked, ledger didn't care enough to take a minute to post a warning on their socials [@Pmalek and @dkbit98 did it and they don't even work for them (ledger only cares about profits and nothing else)].

I don't know if I'm talking nonsense but wouldn't it be interesting for a company of this type, which sells hardware wallets, to delete all buyer data after the purchase has been made, completed, and without warranty or chargeback anymore? I know that some countries' laws require them to store the data, but this is extremely dangerous

I bought their HW back in 2017/18 and I checked the email I used back then and I see that I received messages from this company. If anyone is wondering why Ledger doesn't need to notify its users, you only need to hear/read what their CEO had to say on the subject when the data was first leaked. For them it's a trivial event.
