To appreciate your effort in trying to contain all boxing related discussions in 1 thread, let's give it at least a month whether or not it's effective.

Yes, that's a good idea to wait and see how this experiment develops. However, i have got mixed opinions about this thread as some of the people are happy about it and others think its not a good initiative. Lets give it some time and see if we can have good constructive discussions of all matches in one place.

This thread will be useful if you keep it updated, I think it's best called the summary of boxing fights posted in the forum because as to odds and prediction,[/size] everything is likely discussed on the dedicated thread. Great initiative, we can check this thread from time to time to check the history of fights, and also see the odds of the specific fight.

Good idea , changing the tittle to this will make this thread worth a visit as Updates of each Boxing fight is what normal members wanted to check specially those silent gambler that only look for news and discussions in deeper part and not just spams and not so useful thoughts.
Just please keep the thread updated from time to time as there are so many Good fight on the line that needs some valuable discussions .

I think there could be good conversation for any upcoming fight but, this thread could be good as listing of upcoming boxing events.

The Casimero VS Butler match will be on December 11, 2021, that will be on Saturday at Coca Cola Arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates,

The Nonito Donaire VS Reymart Gaballo match will be on the same date December 11, 2021, which will be on Saturday and will be at Dignity Health Sports Park, Carson, United States.

We can surely discuss this ahead of time but for me, I will be posting some upcoming fights that will be happening right now, like the TSZYU VS INOUE fight that will be on Wednesday, Nov. 17 2021 even though No one is interested in this fight I will still be posting these for everyone to see,

Tim Tszyu - has a record of 19 wins and 0 Lost a good record and the son of a former boxer Kostya Tszyu, the notable fight was with Jeff Horn Tim Tszyu won by TKO against him last fight was with Steve Spark on July 07, 2021,    

Takeshi Inoue - Takeshi is not related to Naoya Inoue, but he has proven his worth in the industry and had a record of 17 wins 1 loss 1 draw for many this is another Inoue on the rise and might be a threat for Tszyu but his last fight was on November 07, 2020, with Nath Nwachukwu and won with UD,

For me, I would surely pick Tim Tszyu for having well known in the industry but never underestimate an Inoue, even though they are not blood-related with the Monster but Tim Tszyu had a 79% winning with KO while Takeshi Inoue have 59% KO winnings, but for me I will be betting for Tim Tszyu.

To start with, do you mean, you are encouraging those thread starters of those boxing topics here to bring their topic here in this thread and lock the current ones?

For now, we have at least 5-6 active boxing threads if I'm not mistaken. Let's see how much volume it will create. Although, it will be a manual search if we like to see who replies to our post. Not a problem if there are not many replies made since our last post but a problem if it's another way around.

That's true it's quite confusing and besides these boxing matches are promotion based, I read in one post of Mayweather that they want to keep things in the house, which means he will not let his prized fighters to fights fighters from other promotions, and this is why we see fighters not fighting boxers that they need to fight, one case here is the Spence and Crawford issue both fighters are on different promotion and they cannot agree on many things about the condition of the fight.

Right, I think this thread might be based on a football speculation thread that was made before, the OP intentions are certainly very good if you want to open a new thread for a discussion, but it seems that there is has a lot of discussion about boxing at this time in my opinion and even a lot of old match threads are still being discussed, after all boxing is a sport there is very little speculation and rumors that occur in contrast to team sports such as football.

However, having all boxing discussions on gambling and speculation in one thread also opens discussions for other proposed fights in the news without creating a new thread. As an example, Canelo has been approved to fight the cruiserweight champion. I reckon some shitposting intruders in the gambling subforum would be excited to open a new thread even if there is no date or if the proposed fight would really be organized.

If opening a thread for each boxing organization is also confusing, I suggest everyone to start their posts with a [WBA], [WBC], [WBO], [IBF] in this thread.



Canelo Alvarez is going to get his shot at a fifth division world title in 2022.

The WBC approved Alvarez’s move up to cruiserweight so he can take on current champion Ilunga "Junior" Makabu. Details about the fight are not yet known, though it is expected to take place in May and could take place in Makabu's native Congo, per ESPN.

There are surely many who's not going to read and will start at the end of the post so they will not see the highlighted match that is available for discussion but you are simply right that this thread is going to be flooded by various boxing events and some people that are not interested in some matches it is normal for them to start a new topic, and not like in UFC that has 1 event for all matches in various division, we can sure have a by month topic discussion for fights that will be on that month, but surely many are not going to read the Thread Starters rules or things that need to do, but maybe we need to set an example for them by posting certain matches that will be on the month of November.

Maybe, but not possible, boxing is individual, the match schedule is also uncertain, sometimes the schedule has been determined can change in a matter of hours, questionable, A1,A2,A3 and so on, one thread one problem.

But there's one thing you need to learn, if this thread should lead to boxing discussions.
• You must provide all schedules and opponents betting in the boxing ring each period.
For example:
Casimero vs. Butler
Nonito Donaire vs. Reymart
Tyson vs. Paul.

And so on, when do they bet, where, who is the opponent, boxing cancellation and so on related to boxing.

Most people create boxing topics, discussing at length whether it's opponents, dates, places, ages, and so on, but if you have new information about boxing it might not be a problem this thread is specifically for boxing.
But if you don't have any new information about the new boxing, maybe other members will create a topic and discuss it, on and on it will happen.

I have no problem with creating a thread like this, but for me, I want a dedicated discussion on a particular boxing match so we can dwell on the strength and weaknesses of each fighter and give hints or tips for those who like to bet on that particular fight, the flow of discussion will always be on-topic about one particular match.

Totally agree with you. The creation of separate threads for each fight is inevitable - during the time it takes to announce, prepare and then carry out a fight in football, it has time to go through a whole rally of the national championship. This is a huge distance. If we discuss all the fights in one thread, then it will be an unreadable mess.

This is a huge distance. If we discuss all the fights in one thread, then it will be an unreadable mess.

Maybe a better idea would be to have some of the fights that are not really that popular on this thread and have the rest of the fights that attract a lot of fans have their own thread, as people are going to want to discuss every single detail of those fights.

To me this seems like the best compromise, as it is inevitable that people are going to create threads for those fights and that the discussion is going to be concentrated there as it would be more readable for the average member a thread like that than a thread that is full of discussions about different fights.

This is a great idea because there are a lot of boxing matches that we missed and not create threads about them because of the thought people might not want to engage in giving speculations as the fighters involved are not so popular.

For me, fights involving Canelo, Teofimo Lopez, Loma, and other big names deserve to have a thread of its own as there are a lot of discussions and speculation as they are well known and many are following them.

Like recently we will have another Canelo fight in the horizon and it will involved Canelo going up in weight. So for me it deserves it's own thread because there are a lot of speculation on it. Or in the case the Loma fight vs Commey, another big fight this December and we will see Loma in action again and this time it will be against another former champion. So that is another thread that is good to have a separate discussion, just my 2 cents.

I think this sounds better because if we were going to talk to a single thread with all of the upcoming fights I'm afraid that we were not going to make the conversion in the thread organize. Though it is a good idea to put a same discussion into a single thread but there are some fights that attract a lot of fans and just wanted to focus on the said topic. I think the best feature that we could have here in this thread is talking all about the fighters specifically like skills and capabilities in the ring, well it's just my opinion.

The Tim Tszyu vs Takeshi Inoue was not that great of a fight but we can call both men a warrior for finishing the 12 rounds, and it was really a heated battle, I don't see much head movement on Takeshi Inoue, but Tim Tszyu sure has precision in his punch but it certainly lacks the power, because there are much punch Tszyu has landed on the head and face, but Inoue just keeps on fighting, or surely Takeshi Inoue has a durable face and chin, to begin with, I say I have stayed away from betting, but I have predicted that Tim Tszyu will surely win this,

I support this thread but you are right there are big fights that deserve their own thread because of the scope of discussion this is so we can follow the flow of discussion and we'll have every detail of the fight as it progresses, the Canelo Makabu fight is a big fight that we want to explore everything about the fight, how they hype, how the media covers it and what both fighters think about their opponent and the fight, in general, it's hard to keep it all up imagine 3 to 4 big fights in one thread with over 5 to 15 members commenting, where the best points of the discussions are buried.

Yes, this option looks reasonable, in the end, I think that most of the writers here (if we remove some exceptions when, for example, a boxer is from the writer's native country), the main interest is to discuss the odds for betting. There should not be too long discussions of one fight because of that.

What is everyone’s prediction? I am shaking my head why the sportsbooks predict that Teofimo Lopez will have a higher chance to win through a knockout than a decision. His opponent is undefeated and this fight is only in lightweight boxing which is very light hehehe. It is 20 pounds lighter than MMA’s lightweight division. I predict Lopez by decision with very good odds.
