The both of them are great. No one is saying that ETH is not a good cryptocurrency, we all know that ethereum is good, but for the fact that Bitcoin is the first that was created, that gives it the first comer advantage, and we would hardly see any other cryptocurrency that would be able to replace Bitcoin in the market. It’s just as the same way that we would hardly see any altcoin that would be able to replace Ethereum from its top position in the alternative cryptocurrency market.

Yes, Ethereum has lots of great features, such as the smart contract which is the major thing about it, but I still believe that there are ways that Bitcoin is good and makes a better choice than ETH. But there isn’t any need for us to be comparing them, just go for whatever you think is best for you, and it wouldn’t be bad if you go for the both of them.

Bitcoin has been recognized in various countries of the world with a high level of trust as an investment coin and is important to have even though it has no utility, at least that's what makes bitcoin sexy as an investment coin, different with Etherum which has extraordinary utility, the ability to drive Blockchain systems and smart contracts in every business. If value alone is a benchmark then you will be crying your heart out on a fortnight basis because it is a highly volatile market and the market moves in either direction in a short period of time .

Going with the underlying technology right now BTCitcoin is a store of value and ETH is a unbearable token as it became a useless commodity after the higher transaction fees. In every aspect i am always with BTCitcoin.

In my opinion, why bitcoin is superior to ethereum, because cryptocurrency is known as bitcoin, so bitcoin was first known and more popular than ethereum, but actually ethereum has advantages over currency.

Yeah, when someone knows crypto and he has introduced that to a newbie. That newbie probably have heard of cryptocurrencies and he's going to say that he knows bitcoin. It happens most of the time that the newbies get to know more bitcoin than any other altcoin.
But as per Ethereum, those that are into many altcoins. They might also be aware of ethereum as it's the first chain that has a lot of projects working on as erc20.

Both Bitcoin and ethereum are decentralized but Bitcoin is more anonymous than ethereum because Bitcoin Creator Satoshi is unknown which make Bitcoin network hard to be an influence but the owner of the ethereum is known and have frequently tempered with ethereum network code either inform of forking or network scalability process which in most cases leads to more vulnerability in the Ethereum network.

Cant really deny that erc20 blockchain utility and the tech behind is much better than off with Bitcoin and thats why no doubt that it do place 2nd in overall market but i wouldnt
be surprised that one day it would really be replaced by some altcoins but its way too early to say that.

Nothing is assured when it comes on future talks thats why its better not to anticipate or hope that much so that you wouldnt really be ending up on getting

bitcoin and ethereum are two of the most used cryptocurrencies by far and both are without a doubt the most valuable cryptocurrencies in terms of market cap and ethereum market cap is only half that of bitcoin, and both will stay in first and second place forever.

We all keep saying that Ethereum won’t be able to beat Bitcoin, but we all know that the future is uncertain. You don’t seem to understand that they aren’t competitors. Bitcoin is a coin who’s value is underlying through being an asset, store of value and payment system. Ethereum is a smart contract coin who’s purpose is building applications on. Lastly XRP is an utter shitcoin that is centralized.

We think it is the blockchain generation then Ethereum is the second generation. Ether is an alternative technology that provides more solutions regarding its adoption. But I see BTC as special. No one can eliminate that, not just value in my opinion. But there are other values that may result in confidence in Bitcoin still being high from other altcoins. Although I know the generation will continue to grow whether it will survive until when but at the moment it looks like it is going to start.

Ethereum seems to provide everything that Bitcoin offers but it has a huge advantage: smart contracts.
Smart contracts are small "programs" that live on the blockchain, so you can use them to build actual services and applications, while Bitcoin is useful only as a digital currency.

So why do you prefer Bitcoin if Ethereum seems superior?

For me, bitcoin is still superior to eth. Although I know for a fact that both are to complement one another and not to compete with each other because after all, they are made for different purposes and they have different dynamics. Bitcoin is considered the "founder" and starting point of cryptocurrency. It is considered digital gold because of its uses such as being a medium of exchange and store of value which is similar to physical gold's uses. Meanwhile, Ethereum is considered as a digital ubiquitous because it could be used in different aspects and applications such as being a token in most NFTs and the likes. It is used to create different applications and it has smart contracts which you've mentioned to build various things in the blockchain.

Bitcoin is more volatile than eth which makes it have a high reward in exchange for the high risk taken. Bitcoin has a limited supply which makes me conclude that it will have a higher value in the future due to the law of supply and demand. Bitcoin has a lesser amount in circulation compared to eth in the market. But let's not pit them from one another because after all, they serve different objectives. It's still a matter of preference regarding superiority after all. If you are more to investing and trading, bitcoin is ideal. But if you are into having a wide reach of applications, then eth is ideal. However, it's still better to have both. You can never go wrong in having the two top coins in crypto.

Bitcoin vs Ethereum is a highly discussed topic across the globe. Quite a serious and recurring speculation in my opinion, Bitcoin is only considered the ‘golden’ coin because of being launched first. Ethereum on the other hand has also offered significant growth throughout its journey. So, yes, both have their own pros and cons and why not purchase both?

Because it's expensive to buy bitcoin unlike ethereum which you can get much value out of and the network of ethereum has more usage than bitcoin, I think that Axie Infinity uses Ethereum network for their game plus it's a chance for some people to try and replicate the success of other people who have bought bitcoin and so they try and get ethereum in hopes that they might get the chance.

There is a reason on why other cryptocurrencies beside BTC are called "altcoins", which signify that the latter are also coins that just alternate or better versions of BTCs. Though what drives the price of BTC in the market is the law on demand and supply, lots of these altcoins have generated significant returns in the past few months/years.

Personally, I would recommend diversifying one's portfolio by also investing in these altcoins, specifically ethereum. Lots of these altcoins also have been gaining recognition which puts them on the same spot as BTC's recognition and legality.

I think you are may be missing some point where we can really say that btc is more precious than any other coin on crypto market .As we all know that bitcoin is totally a decentralized coin and no one can control it cause the founder of the coin are still unknown so that definitely its a open coin which is going through as the trader and investor play with it .On the other hand eth has a team though work hard to established their coin to make the value high but they can control and can make any decision to control it .So why not we need to invest on btc first which are not control by anyone or any team .I can easily say that btc is always a precious coin on this digital world .

Right!. Bitcoin is king, ethereum is queen, both have their own duties. Bitcoin has created a whole new digital world and brought privacy to its users through its decentralized feature. Ethereum is highly scalable which helps the cryptocurrency market to grow and become more popular. So we don't need to compare both, invest both and use both.

Have it in your mind that bitcoin is the father of cryptocurrency, and you don't expect your offspring to suddenly dumped because of little advantage to overshadow your circle and potentials in the society. No matter what advantage Ethereum has, keep this to yourself that Bitcoin is still the head in price and uses. Bitcoin is still moving the market in full force whereby every other token or crypto projects are following along.

On my end, just be thankful that we have bitcoin and ethereum today. They have different applications and crypto users are benefiting from their existence. Don't look for which one is better than the other. Let us embrace the fact that both networks are needed to advance the adoption of crypto. Bitcoin transactions can be verified in 10 minutes while Ethereum transactions can be verified in 10 seconds. It is the biggest advantage of ETH over Bitcoin.

I think it depends on the density of the network. If it's a tissue, I think it's going to be faster. But in some articles I read on average in 10 minutes Bitcoin was able to confirm between 3-7 transactions. Ether 15-25 confirmations in the span of 6 minutes.
I think the newer generation of Ethereum then he's trying to eliminate the flaws in Bitcoin. Indeed, the scalability of bitcoin is an issue that continues to be debated.

There is big different in Bitcoin and Etherium both are different blokchain. BTC max supply is 21m and Etherium max supply is N/A. And there is big different in market cap, etherium has 292.68 bn USDT and BTC has 681.22 bn USDT.

You’re right there is a big difference between the two coins. Primary it’s what they are used for. What it comes down to is bitcoin is a currency and a store of value (this will improve over time). Ethereum is all based on smart contracts and isn’t trying to compete with bitcoin head to head. People often get confused thinking that the two are competitors or the same thing.

Bitcoin is not necessarily better than Ethereum, but everyone supports bitcoin because it is the birthplace of the cryptocurrency market, creating a world of financial freedom for us thanks to the concept of decentralization. Satoshi is the creator of bitcoin but he is completely anonymous and no longer visible, which makes bitcoin safer than many other altcoins. Ethereum has Vitalik Buterin and he is still the head and most important developer of ETH. It would be some kind of risk that if he announced his departure from ETH or something happened to him, ETH would fail.
