Still DYOR. Nobody knows what will be the exact gain for the altcoins that we may suggest. It's unknown and impossible to know at the beginning of the year. But we're going to see those projects that will perform well as this year starts. Those that are good enough, we might see them moving from this month to March. You have a good point, but top 100 might have that chance too, especially those from the lower ranks. But like what you have said, new projects or those that are progressive are the once that potentially can grow up more than ten folds. It's not easy to detect as you need to do good research and follow what the team is doing.

You can take the advantage if you know what are the offer to gain interest from the investors sides.

The deeper you understand, the better chance that you'll earn a lot.

I think that the projects related to play2earn, metaverse, NFT, that is everything that is related to virtual reality in some way, will have the best chance for increases x10 and more.

Without a doubt I think that most of the hype will be concentrated on metaverse coins, so that is a market that you want to watch closely and see if you can find a hidden gem early and make a significant amount of money, however it is not going to be easy because just as we know this information the information is also available to scammers, and they will take advantage of this to create hundreds of those projects and scam a lot of people in the process.

I have done something similar with Cake back in the day and now considering the same. Cake was something I wasn't sure because it had "staking" in it but not the proof of stake that we all know, it was decentralized finance (defi) and this staking was different from other staking, here you could be offline and the system just gave you money and you did basically nothing.

So, I wasn't sure what to do, but I got in when it was around 2 bucks. Then I got out at 12 dollars when it first reached there and honestly I have some left that is staking but I never really reconsidered it until recently. Now seeing it at 12 dollars once again, I may consider getting some more.

Phantasma (SOUL) coin seems like a good investment at this point. It's MC is only 350 million but can/should easily be a 1 billion mc soon. At 1 bill marketcap it's worth $10.30 and that's a 3x. But I can see  it being a 4-5 billion marketcap ($40-$50+ a coin).

MATIC x10 would be half of ETH marketcap, same with SHIB. I don't think that coins that far up in the ranking with an already very high marketcap will gain that much this year. Unless of course the whole market goes up by a factor of at least x3  
It's unpredictable but looking for a x10 I would invest in a coin with a lower ranking and marketcap, maybe in the Top200 or Top300, where more growth is possible (Even if the whole market goes sideways or down)

If anything can, Matic is the one. I think x10 is a very big goal to put to a coin. If Matic went 10x then it would be third biggest coin by a big margin as well. Like literally 2x bigger than BNB right now, it would be still behind btc and eth but would cover like 10% of the whole market all by itself. I do not think that 10x is realistic because of this, the prices of everything else could go up, which means that Matic doing 10x would not be "that" big in that case, but it would still be a lot bigger than most other coins and that is not possible at the top levels.

You have to remember a coin with 400 million dollars marketcap going to 4 billion dollars is not the same as 16 billion dollar market cap going to 160 billion dollars. It gets harder and harder when you are at the top ranks and this is why Matic may not reach that x10 anytime soon.
