Teacher's efforts and teacher's salary

of course we all know how the teachers have been working tirelessly in giving out quality education on children who are the future leaders of tomorrow, but yet when we are to talk about their pay in wages, it's nothing to write about because they get so little in return to what they are giving out, but i want to believe that despite this challenge, not every country treat their teachers in such manners, they have a payment scale accredited by the government as minimum wage which they all follows especially in the advance and developed countries unlike the underdeveloped ones that does not have a standard for teachers salary.

We should not be surprised because teachers are putting more  efforts to make sure that students get the best knowledge and are useful in the society but the only way the government can pay them is peanut. Many politicians allowances are more the teachers salaries which is very bad and we need to look into this so that the people that are working cam also rat from their labour.

In the past administration of our government here in the country, they made it possible to increase teachers' salaries, as the president at that time knew that the teachers needed a salary increase. I am unsure whether this current administration will continue the previous president's advocacy of valuing teachers as I haven't heard any news about teachers. I am hoping that their salary would again increase a little bit just to thank them for their efforts, especially those teachers going to remote areas.

It's really sad to see how teachers are paid so low in some countries. Even though the most meritorious in building a good generation are the teaching staff who are tireless in imparting knowledge to their students. but in some countries the teaching profession is not really valued. their salary is always low. even though they are the teachers teach sincerely. but still they need material to meet their daily needs. But maybe this is the result of our own not being able to appreciate the services of the teachers who have taught us. So I think we have to start improving ourselves if we haven't been able to appreciate their services to us. so from now on we should be able to appreciate them more.

The important role of teachers in the society cannot be overemphasized. After the home, which is the first school for the child, the teachers are the next in line to help mold the child to become a better citizen.

 But in the place where I'm from, teachers are less respected compared to the doctors, engineers and the rest and as such, not much value is placed on them. It's comfortable to owe teachers their salaries and even the government turn a blind eye to some of their needs and as such these people tend to act unconcerned whether students are been imparted upon or not.
Before we honor the doctors and lawyers of this world, let's first give the teachers their due.

There are certain schools where teachers earn high too but that is usually in privately owned schools. You can compare what is paid in schools like British International Schools, Corona International Schools, or other international schools based in my country etc you will know they pay well unlike the peanuts paid by government owned schools. Teachers in my country are disrespected because people know hey are not well paid. In Nigeria people relate with you based on how much money they think your salary is. Citizens worship politicians because they think they are rich while teachers are ridiculed because they know they are poorly paid.

Without my teacher who was patient with me, I would never have learned calculus, one subject that geve me the most tough time in way back in school. Teachers deserve better. Without them, the world wouldn't be where it is at the moment. From the technological advances in health, agriculture, industries, we owe it to teachers who passed down their knowledge painstakingly to students. Some farmers did not attend school, but you would be surprised at how bright they are; they will simply learn it from others, such as trainings and other farmers who thought to them. Farmers who teach other farmers are considered teachers, but they do this for the benefit of all farmers helping one another. Back to the topic, most of the responses here stated that teachers are low-paid and only a few countries have high salaries, which surprised me because I assumed it was only in our country because we are a third-world country, but I believe it is true for the majority of the countries in the world.

   Sad to hear that some teachers in other countries are underpaid or not paid but in my country I found ironic situation that some teachers are abusive they're request so much and some of them are posting in social media that their Salary it's not enough. They're making protest in social media . I'm also a future teacher and I know teacher our really important because they give everyone opportunity to our learners to learn, but my advice don't abused it to much when we know already it's enough on us.

But I could say that the government also saw this but they are not doing anything to increase their salary. The hard work that has been done by the teacher should be paid off since they are going overtime without being paid and doing lesson plans and it is not easy. All professionals are really teachers so without them we wouldn't see any professionals right now.  We just not be thankful for them but also should push through their salary increase as it is also for the own good of the people that they are teaching.
