I think few people believed in a victory for Saudi Arabia. It was the biggest surprise so far in this World Cup.

Very few people risked their money for Saudi Arabia. I did place a bet for both team to score and Argentina to win. Sadly lost one of the bets. It was unexpected indeed but not a lot of surprising when it's Argentina. I don't know if you watch cricket or not; Pakistan is the same team as of Argentina. They lose some matches which no one expects lol. Pak vs Zim was the same in the last T20 world cup while Pakistan at the end, played final though they didn't win.

But to be honest, I too still didn't even think that Argentina could lose to Saudi Arabia. and it seems that this match also brought defeat to many people who bet. because even without direct analysis, I was sure of betting with Argentina. and then here's what happened.

What probably happened was that Argentina underestimated the opponent, so they entered the field believing that they were going to have an easy victory, which later did not happen.

One thing is for sure, Saudi Arabia's second goal was a beautiful goal. He will certainly be a candidate for the best goal of the World Cup.

One thing everyone should remember is that those who play in the World Cup, every teams comes after qualifying. I think it is very foolish to play as a big team and think that the opposing team is small or weak as happened in today's match. Argentina's performance in the first hour was not very good and they didn't go for much attacking mode. But when Saudi Arabia managed to score two goals, they showed a different kind of speed that ultimately did not bring the success. Whatever the opponent is, he should be countered with utmost importance.

That's right when teams reach here in world cup after qualifying phase that means they are strong teams ,yes you can say some are more experienced and some are less and today Saudia Arabia less experienced team won against the experienced Argentina. 

This happens most of the times that teams like Argentina when they have match with less experience teams they underestimate them and get a bit overconfident and result is this that world is experiencing today.

That was a special surprise today from Saudi Arabia. Would we be selling that team short if we say it was luck? Of course Argentina had some bad luck that the 2-0 turned out to be offside, but that 1-2 was a beautiful goal. In the afterthought, they also call that player the Messi of Asia. And now Argentina could also have a hard time, because if they accidentally lose to Mexico or Poland, they are almost certainly out. Mexico and Poland played 0-0, but Lewndowsky will not sleep well tonight because of his missed penalty.

Again a draw match , Poland got a chance to goal but due to strong defense Mexico goalkeeper they failed to utilise this chance as a result game ended up in 0:0 .

Poland should have won this game, but Lewandowski failed to convert the penalty into a goal. Yes of course they have a lot to learn from this draw but every team now including Argentina only have 2 games to improve.

Argentina were the most unlucky team in Group C, they lost to the underdogs in Group C and somehow Saudi Arabia actually managed to stay that way during the second half. I have no other reason for Saudi Arabia other than they just got lucky with the Argentinian anti-missile defense system. It would be surprising if in the end Argentina failed to qualify for the next round and Saudi Arabia leads Group C with 9 points in the next 2 matches.

I watched the match and it was not that spectacular i have to say but of course that has to be expected because in very important games the teams usually try to play it pretty safe obviously because a loss already puts them under a lot of pressure in the group stage. The penalty for Poland was definitely deserved and some referee experts even said that the player of mexico should have received a red and not only a yellow card. Unexpectedly Lewandowski missed that penalty even though he usually is very efficient with his penalty taking and i also think that the penalty was not that badly taken from him but that the mexican keeper just had the right corner and made a great save.

The Poland vs Mexico game was a great contest. But I thought Mexico would win. But it didn't happen, instead, Poland attacked brilliantly, but for Mexico's goalkeeper, Poland failed to win.

After I saw the match between Argentina and Saudi Arabia, I came to the conclusion that Argentina's defense was very weak in the second half. because several times Argentina was unable to stem Saudi Arabia's counterattack which was very fast.
and not only is Argentina's defense a bit weak, but Argentina's attack line is also quite weak. Even though Argentina already has Messi and Martinez's mainstay team, they still cannot be a threat to Saudi Arabia.
and this will be a tough task for the argentina coach (Lionel Scaloni) to educate even harder
